A young graduate of Imo State University, IMSU, simply identified as Uche, has been murdered in cold blood in a community in Imo state - leaving his family and friends in sorrow. According to information gathered online, the young man's killing was allegedly spearheaded by the king of Umuomumu Mbieri in Umueze community in Imo state, Eze Peter Opara, who is said to have led his security men to shoot the deceased.

After reports of the young man's death went viral in the community, angry youths mobilized themselves as they stormed the king's palace to revenge the tragic death - by setting the building on fire.

The reason for shooting the young man dead was not revealed as friends and colleagues have taken to Facebook to mourn his death.

The Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim, has described as 'Untrue and Unfounded, pure fabrications' a report published by Punch where he allegedly said that he is free to have a romantic relationship with any police officer.

Recall that Senator Misau whom the IG is having a running battle with, had on October 4th, told members of the Senate that the IG impregnated a female officer and hurriedly got married to her. According to Misau, romantic relationship involving police officers is against the rules of engagement in the force.

Range Rovers are fast depleting on our roads aligning with other half hearted vehicles like Benz, Bmw, Vw, Audi and Porsche to mention a few.It is sad and annoying but the owners are to be blamed. I know a lot of the owners who are not willing to hear the word range in any form because of what they go through. It is even the same complaint abroad even with the good fuel and good oils. But the good thing about them is that they don't go through engine or transmission faults. Just electricals while here, we suffer from all the faults. A range Rover is a prestigious brand in the same class with the Rolls royce because the technology is over advanced. In a situation where a cheap brake switch will cause gear errors and suspension faults, shows that it requires detailed maintenance. I remember that I was once commissioned to tow a Rolls Royce from Ife to Lagos for servicing. Imagine the amount to tow it just for routine checks. But we don't need to tow a go anywhere car butb we need to be conscious of the details whenever we go for routine maintenance. The Range Rover recommends Castrol and from Castrol's website, it is not every castrol that works for the brand. It is the highest of the brand. Even Vw requires the oil,ditto BMW and other big brands but we allow lower performance oil to be used and be happy about it. As common as Peugeot cars looks, there is only one oil brand that can work well with the new generation of the brand, that is the local Mobil 1 esp 5w30. Even the famed Total oil will never work though Peugeot still recommends Total but they will tell you to use Mobil ESP. Imagine a brand that lies about the oil to use and the oil is not available anywhere. The Total Q9000 is outdated for Peugeot cars from 2011 above. The oil does not meet the requirements of the engine. In a nutshell, no locally produced engine oil is suitable for the Range Rover ditto with other big brands. There are different types of Castrol being sold in the country but the number choice should be the extended performance 5w30 and 5w20. Even the current Range Rovers legacy from 2013 requires 0w20, the same oil specification Honda and Toyotas uses in their 2008 cars. In Nigeria, the fuel is an issue but with the right oil, it will minimize the damage. Go for the best oils and enjoy your rides and make my job easier. Imagine I am still working at this hour trying to remedy damages that are avoidable. One of the greatest problems in this country is that even big men( rich men) like to cut corners on very serious issues. There are still some Range Rover Brand owners that will always buy low quality fuel for their car instead of the recommended fuel. When you try to warn them of an impending damage to their vehicles, they claim to know better than the specialist in this case. I remember when I used a MB C220 for three years and never missed the 3000 miles standard for service of the machine at Mobil filling station,someone using a Range Rover Sport asked why I was wasting money coming to Mobil service station for service every two months. I politely told him that I was saving two things: my engine life and my personal life in the long term. The guy was shocked and thought I was making fun of him and even got angry. I beckoned on him to follow me to my car where I showed him a bold sign close to the radiator where the recommended oil was boldly written: Mobil 1. Fast forward he has parked that Range Rover and I have moved on to buy another C230. This is to give credence to your statement that the main cause of the dearth of Range Rover on Nigerian roads is caused by the owners.

​The Nigerian Law School on Saturday released the summary of the final examination results conducted in August.

Chinedu Ukekwe, Head of Information and Protocol of the Nigerian Law School, in a statement said 1,272 candidates failed out of a total of 5,891 that participated in the examinations.

The candidates who failed represented 21.6 per cent.

“29 students made First Class, 211 Second Class Upper, 1,046 Second Class Lower.”

He said 2,999 got a Pass, while 334 came out with conditional Pass.

4,285 candidates were successful and will be called to the Nigerian Bar.

A further breakdown of the results showed 72.7 per cent passed, while those with conditional Pass represented 5.7 per cent.

Ukekwe in the statement revealed that the “Call to the Bar ceremony for the successful candidates will hold on November 28 and 29 in Abuja”.

Some cant even make two sentences correctly yet they are called lawyers.Some cant even present their cases well. TSTV Africa management has reacted to released memos on the Internet stating TSTV agreement with some sports channels are illegal.

We wish to state that this is malicious and false. The memos circulating on social media are FAKE. Both letters were packaged in a single brown envelop and was hurriedly dropped at our office by an unidentified person.”

“TSTV has a non-disclosure agreement with Beni Sports and Turner to air their stations on TSTV satellite Television. The Nigeria Broadcasting Commission team were also in Qatar to confirm our agreement with Bein Sports and also have a copy of our agreement with Bein Sport,” Ugo added.
