Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Most Ridiculous Prophesy That Has Ever Been Given To You? by rhames(m): 8:49am On Oct 01, 2017
tosyne2much:
These days, many people are disguising themselves as "prophets" who claim to have the gift of prophecy and they keep dispatching ridiculous prophesies that are either about predicting the death of someone, the calamity that will befall him or the level one can attain in life. Usually these people “prophets” claim to know all the unconfessed sins in a person’s life by mere looking at him.

With these fake prophesies, they have destroyed many homes, relationships/marriages, turned siblings against each other, turned mother-in-law against wife, etc.

I can vividly remember a time I was traveling to school for my exam when a man approached me at the bus stop and identified himself as a white garment prophesy(olusho). He routinely gave me a prophesy of how showed to him how I was going to end up in an accident if I fail disembark the journey. My people, fear grip me oooo.. Me wey wan write exam the next day shocked

I told him "thank you", called the next available bike man and traveled to school

These are the ways these false prophets dispatch ridiculous prophesies and put people in obscurity, so, anyone who is fooled by fake prophesy is ignorant of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I know many people have also been in the same shoes with me so kindly share your own experiences
In most cases you do not need to go to them apart from exceptional issues. I bet you, if you spend three to seven days in a month doing what they use their time to do , you will discover God better than they see it. Besides, there are more charlatans in the trade now than real preachers. In my experience, I get my own Divine messages and directions from dreams after serious prayers afetr three or seven days . That message determines my next step on the issue at hand.

I do not condemn the prophets in totality but there are more hungry prophets and mallams and marabouts on Nigerian soil than true men of God.

In all these, I keep asking certain questions begging for answers. We have external security agencies like the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) we have the National Security Adviser (NSA) and the State Security Service (DSS),defence and security attaches at various embassies worldwide. I am tempted to ask what their job is.

When you walk into any Nigerian embassy for services of any kind, you hear different kinds of stories starting with money was not allocated and the passport machine is bad and they tell you that in order to part with your heard earned hard currency which is eventually going to somebody's pocket. This is avisitors first port of call to Nigeria. How would they take us serious when we dont take ourselves seriously?

I am not surprised that the Minister goofed when he accused the French of supporting IPOB. That was not his job. It is that of the external affairs minister to do that.

I wonder the kind of people they train at NIPSS Kuru these days and those appointed as ministers.

the truth is they are increasingly frustrated by their men who marry them for their fame and money like their southern counterparts. Most have learnt their lessons thats why they prefer to be single than face the frustrations of dishonest, lazy men and leeches who are only after their wealth.

Nollywood actress and politician Funke Adesiyan has learnt her lesson in the hard way and is ready to let everyone know so as not to fall victim like she did.

The actress who has taken a temporary break from Nollywood for a while now is also a business woman when she is not acting. She however took to her Instagram page to admonish her fans that not all friends are deserving of trust.

From what we could deduce in the actress’ post, a certain friend whom she trusted with an idea ended up stealing the idea for herself, thereby betraying Funke’s trust and friendship.

“There is more where that came from” the actress said talking about the stolen idea. She warned her fans that no one is to be trusted hence ideas and plans should be guarded jealously.

Sometimes, the biggest and hardest lessons comes from your best friends. Thats because most people were befallen by their best friends since the days of Julius Ceaser and Brutus, Jesus Christ and Judas Iscariot, IBB and Mamman Vatsa.

In short, your best friend is your enemy.

So a Twitter user took to her Twitter page to rant about how she’s tired of married men in Lagos and little did she know that she was going to meet her nemesis after what she shared.

After @desolaa_ ranted about a married man who offered her lunch but she declined, so in order to win her, the man told her that his wedding band he was wearing, was just a ring and not a stigma.

Desola shared the tweet and then a lady interestingly called her out , accusing her of sending her husband nude photos during the last Sallah holiday.

Twitter users have since begged her to deny it, so the indecent pictures will leak.

In simple plain English Language, this man just got one of his numerous girlfriends or one queen of the night to pose as his wife in order to get what he wants. Some men are just goats and cant live with rejection. He would have replied with a more soothing compliments than this arrant nonsense.

The terrorist snag was just a cover to enable the bigger and more populated Arab countries take control of the economic and political well being of the region. Especially the Saudis.

To The Professional Accountants In The House. I Want To Know What The Future Hold For Potential Chartered Accountants And Newly Qualified Accountants In Nigeria In Terms Of Getting A Job As well As The Pay? Lalasticlala Help Me Take This To The Promised Land Because I've Keen Interest In This And Thanks In Anticipation.
There is an interesting future for chartered accountants in Nigeria. However you have to decide whether you want to be in employment or you want to be an employer of labour or be as relevant as possible to the immediate and larger economy. Technology, especially the internet, has changed our thought and most accountants are not in tune with this reality. You can use your skill on this platform (internet) in various ways to survive. With your knowledge in finance you can learn and leverage on new skills to be relevant. You can raise a blog or website to teach some subjects you know perfectly well. You can import ACCA/CIMA?CISA materials for those who need it and raise an online bookshop for that. You can write books on how to treat miscellaneous accounts which are not available locally, that is if you are sound in them. You can also be a consultant and bookkeeper to small medium companies and enterprises.

I am also preparing for my ICAN final and i tell you i have directed my strenght to blogging and trading international financial derivatives online through trading platforms. When i lost my job, i fell back on these and seriously it is paying well. My next project is a standard bakery which i intend to start in January 2018 God's Willing. There are many accountants like us who have branched off practice to have a larger impact on the economy.

The Nigerian economy is underserved in our profession partly because only few of them get paid well and the larger majority survive on the grace of God. The accounting profession will continue to have relevance for a long time to come. Wishing you goodluck.
