But this role didn't require any of that, also I was already given the role without auditioning because of my body of work; so negotiations were made, and we were ready to start filming. Last minute someone decided to go against everyone because he didn't think my body size was going to be attractive enough for how se*y, beautiful and romantic the movie was going to be. And please don't cry for me, I'm really ok. Life and God have been so good to me.”

Celebrity designer Toyin Lawani has come out to accuse Bobrisky of trying to kill her. The CEO of Tiannah’s Empire disclosed that the cross dresser tried to use ‘juju’ on her. According to Olisa TV, Lawani disclosed that she was warned by a close friend to stay away from Bobrisky as well as to immediately protect herself and her children. She revealed how he came to her shop to give her a polythene bag that contained a white cloth and guniea fowl. She disclosed that when the bag was given to her, she opened it and days after she was admitted in the hospital.

Lawani said: “Few days after I issued him a warning, Idris came to Tiannah’s Empire with a black polythene bag and the security guards prevented his entry. I went downstairs to ask what he wanted and he said he had come to apologise for his misdeeds. He handed me the polythene bag and when I opened it, I saw white clothes and a guinea fowl inside. I threw the bag on the floor and asked one of my employees, Dayo, to burn it while also warning Idris to never again visit me with such gifts. I collapsed the next day and started bleeding heavily following which I was rushed to Ave Maria Hospital. I was informed the incident was linked to pre-existing concerns with fibroid but I believe it was caused by the diabolical items Idris brought as a supposed gift. I had a surgery and remained in the hospital for two months before I was discharged. As soon as I returned to work, Idris showed up at the Empire, saying he heard I was ill but that he came for cash as the bank did not pay him because they could not reach me to confirm the cheque while I was hospitalised. I took the cheque from him and gave him cash then bid him good bye.”

Concerning his recent arrest, it was reported that Lawani had earlier reported Bobrisky’s death threat to the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) which was why he was arrested and taken to Abuja for questioning. According to her media team, he was not arrested because he tried to poach Toyin Lawani’s clients but for making threats to her life. It was further revealed that Bobrisky once worked with Lawani for two months. She disclosed that when he came he was not wearing female clothes but wears makeup and fixes his nails. She said this got her son saying he wants to do the same but she told Bobrisky to stop dressing like that to her shop. Bobrisky and Lawani earlier met when he came to her shop to treat his infected skin and black knuckles. Nawa o!

A popular On-Air Personality in Akwa-Ibom, Cleopatra Tao, has died. Popular called Cleo Tao, the OAP died two days after taking to her Facebook page to update her fans about her health conditions. She was said to have gotten sick last week and was taken to the emergency intensive care unit at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. However, she was responding to treatment according to her Facebook post two days ago which says:

“Sorry guys, I had a respiratory challenge, I’m responding to treatment. I’ll be out soon. Thnx for your kind prayers.” But she couldn't make it out of the hospital as she died battling her life. She was the head of programmes at a private radio station, Planet 101.1FM in Uyo.

Nigerian musician Harry Tare Okiri popularly known as, Harrysong is at loggerheads with one of his female fans. The lady has promised to deal with him. According t o a Facebook post by Harrysong’s manager, Desmond Ike Chima, he disclosed that the lady wanted him to create an avenue for her to meet with the singer but he never listened to her. She later decided to contact the singer by herself. Chima on Saturday, November 25, took to his Instagram handle to share a screenshot of the mail with the caption

It appears reports of the Mavin Queen, Tiwa Savage’s second pregnancy was not what people thought it was, as the singer came out recently to debunk the rumors of her being pregnant, saying she just gained additional weight.

Some time back, the singer hinted at a possible pregnancy when she made known her intention to give her son Jamal a baby sister in no distant time. Shortly after then, the singer was spotted adorned in an attire that didn’t hug her body that much, yet what appeared like a baby bump was very much obvious. Fans concluded she had taken in again.

On Sunday, November 26, Nigerian lawmaker and actor Honorable Rotimi Makinde was under fire from fans and colleagues as he took to his Facebook profile to throw shades at his ex-wife. The Honorable was said to have indirectly insulted his ex-wife who on Sunday, celebrated her 50th birthday and housewarming same day did not receive any celebratory message from her ex-husband. Makinde, who parted ways with his estranged wife seven years ago, posted a picture of his Facebook where he mocked her for not having any man beside her as she adds another year.

Following the social media drama between Shatta Wale and Wizkid, famous Nigerian dancehall musician Timaya has come out to throw shades at the Ghanaian singer

It could be recalled that the Ghanaian singer once accused Wizkid and Timaya on Twitter and a dedicated fan of the Nigerian singer came out to throw shades at Shatta Wale and Ghana as a whole. The Twitter user who was identified @Teolee_Baby disclosed that: "Wizkid alone is more than a whole Ghana….Timaya alone is more than all Africa dance hall…Timaya king of Africa dance hall …rep Nigeria.”

Following this tweet on Thursday, November 16, Shatta Wale posted his own reply where he said Timaya should stick to selling plantain chips. He said: “Stop this poultry farm nonsense before I use you for indomie and chicken wings. Tell Timaya to come to Ghana and see what’s Dancehall and stop that nonsense. You people call Dancehall. It’s a shame you have an artist like Timaya he should have still sold his plantain chips…Mumu.”

This post did not go down well with Timaya as he took to his Instagram handle to make a short video of him asking people who Shatta Wale is. He also asked if the singer is a shoemaker or plumber.

The Peoples Democratic Party has reacted to the defection of Atiku Abubakar from the ruling All Progressives Congress - The opposition party welcomed the former vice president, but stated that there would be no automatic ticket for him to contest for the 2019 presidential election - The party’s spokesman stated that there were constitutional processes which must be followed The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that it would not give an automatic ticket to the former vice president Atiku Abubakar, to contest for the 2019 presidential election, Punch reports. The opposition party’s spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, made the comments while reacting to the news of the former VP’s defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

NAIJ.com gathers that Adeyeye stated that even though his party was glad that Atiku Abubakar ‘had seen the light’, there were constitutional elements to be followed in the PDP. He stated: “The PDP is a democratic party. If you come in, you are free to contest elections once you meet our constitutional requirements, but we can’t give our ticket to anybody like that.” Adeyeye frther stated: “The PDP has the capacity to accommodate everybody. Our doors are open to him (Atiku) to come back to his home without any precondition. “He is free to come back like every other Nigerian and we want to appeal to those who have not seen the truth and we are praying that they will soon see the truth, so that the truth will set them free. “And as soon as they are free, let them come back.”
