That's why I said people should start criticising with sense! You don't just open your mouth and close it cos you wan join the caucus of gutter critics.

And I don't get angry smiley. Or is being blunt your definition of anger?[/quote
Guy leave that thing. You sound like an intelligent dude. Most nollywood movies don't in any way stimulate one's intellect. The plot is utterly predictable, every lady's dressing is ostentatious and whorish. A doctor receives the news of his 3 month comatose patient regaining consciousness from the nurse and asks the patient to come into his office. Where does that happen for Pete's sake? what happened to muscle atrophy? The movies are poorly researched, poorly scripted. Part 1,2 & 3 can be totally compressed into one movie of 45mins. Na the acting na im dey sometimes impress. Lets call a spade a spade even if na our country thing. Peace

baby girl, it seems what you enjoy hearing is when people who are originally Igbo say they are not.
there is no point allowing miscreants continue to spread falsehood. People will always be there to correct the lie.
Pikin wey say him mama no go sleep, that pikin too no go sleep.
First im not female. Second I don't see Kabba & Yorubas going back & forth...so what's the big deal? Tell yourself whatever and say whatever it won't change what we decide our tribe to be called irreverent of all info tabled. Give it a rest o my brother. The convo is pointless undecided
Culture / Re: Delta Igbo, Bendel Igbo: What Does That Even Mean. by rhowly(m): 5:59pm On Dec 07, 2013
Proudly Anioma. I understand when people especially Igbos say im Igbo. It makes perfect sense. But what's really annoying is why it's a big deal to them, why they carry on loooooonnnng conversations such as i've seen here just to prove we are Igbos. It matters little one way or another. Una number never plenty reach, abi una wan we waka come Onitsha or Enugu? Wetin consign una if them dey marginalize us for Delta, them dey marginalize Igbo nationally too na. Leave all this o jare. The love of my life was a Muslim. We loved each other as much as was possible but we both believed deeply in our respective Faiths' and so parted ways. There are people who can make such marriages work but it sadly puts to doubt their belief in their faiths. Plain and simple

Very true. With God, you can never be wrong.

Na lie. Today's generation want to move out sharp sharp so that mummy will stop telling them to wash plate and clean the toilet. tongue

Very true, but we live in a society that sees single women as odd. According to society, If you aint married by a certain age, you MUST either have spirit husband, be facing 'ogun idile' ( battle from your father's village), or you are gay grin

My goodness, am I naïve or what? Do women take alcohol? embarassed

True. Jobless pervs are on the lookout for honey-voiced honeys to woo. When they succeed in bedding you and sucking the youth out of your body, they discard you.

Hokay

Very true. That means not dressing like a market woman on her way to the farm, or a red light street walker looking for clients.

Na lie. In contemporary times, sex and love mean one and the same thing. The only way to show love is to bang his brains out. If you don't do that, then it means you don't love him. Sick society. angry

Na lie. After weeping profusely from his abuse, wipe your face, apply makeup, enter that big 'ol jeep and cruise away. You will be the envy of everybody grin. Who cares if they don't know that you are facing hell in the marriage?? You have the car and jewellry to cover the physical and emotional bruises!! cheesy tongue

Clara Chime will testify. grin

Na lie. MARRIAGE is the answer to ALL problems. Once you marry and start bearing 'Mrs so and so' your problems magically dissolve grin

Ain't nobody wanna hear that girl...you're speaking too much truth. lol

Truly wonderful thread and a sight for sore eyes. I was praying while reading that NLs loonies would stay away. Thank God for that. I just want to emphasize compliance. I have watched people die from a negligence of therapy (not a pretty sight) and seen others flourish from discipline. God bless NL PLWHA for your courage and candor

kulyie: nope,i am not aggresive,my personality stays with me but my attitude depends on individuals.there are some individuals i am very mild, soft and feminine with and there are some groups of people, especially some categories of men i have to be aggressive, sometimes arrogant and assertive with.depends on the approach you give me or bring my way smiley
Obviously...still it does speak a lot about your maturity if you understand every dart doesn't require another. But then again maybe it just me. Cheers
Romance / Re: Why Do Guys Run From Successful And Financially Independent Women? by rhowly(m): 6:45pm On Nov 15, 2013
kulyie: no thank you smiley

i have mellowed like you asked me to but what of all this little riff raffs ranting up and down insulting their mothers, not me

You know you really don't need to respond to every dart thrown in your direction? If all you say bout yourself is true, your "quick fingers" have failed to lend credence to your status as a biz exec or director etc Several people of varying ages on this faceless forum. You just might be arguing with a kid or someone as young as your youngest sibling. That said, an overview or introspection into African societies almost never causes one to arrive at your "radical" stance. I'd opt for experience (no offence intended). But know this we aren't all the same. I'm a young professional as well, successful by the standards of the world and totally unafraid of that in a female. If she makes more money, all the better. Certainly can't have too much. But often enough arrogance is a bed fellow to success. Not limited to females but it's easier to spot. Why? Because we naturally expect different and humility in a female is absolutely sublime and a trait to cherish. Nevertheless an emotionally secure man is the perfect antidote for a successful and arrogant woman and yes, they can be decent wives/mothers. It'd be nice to meet you, I honestly don't think you're half as aggressive in person wink

oluafolabi: LOL! Same thing I was discussing with someone some weeks ago.

Most times our lecturers complain that the reasons many students are going to neighbouring countries to school is because of our low education standard here, which is a terrible lie. Most of those Ghanaian universities still can't match up in standard with our UI,OAU,UNILORIN,UNILAG and some top naija schools.

The major reason why most students run away to Benin, Ghana, Togo to study is because the competition for admission is not as stiff as it is here. Most of them that cheated in WAEC and couldn't pass UTME or POSTUTME would prefer to 'use their money' to study in schools where there is no competition for entrance. Most times in advertisement for such schools you see phrases like 'No Entrance Exam needed'. What kind of school is that?.

This is the same ish with Folks running to Ukraine to study medicine. They don't need entrance exams too, no wonder majority of 'em failed in the last MDCN exams.
True true true true true o o o o.I know them, I know them...I wee call their names here o....but one of them papa na MOPOL lipsrsealed

Your stupidity is quite profound!! What really is the essence of this thread? To kill off discussion on tithe? You are still a learner.

People would continue to get enlightened on the true essence of tithing and the principles behind it.Discussions on the topic cannot be stifled not even in a 100 years from now.it is even going to get worse with developments in the social media and other avenues of information disemination.

Our childrens will ask more questions than us.Their inquisitive minds would be open to answers from a various sources
I would liked your comment cos it was insightful but the insult wasn't necessary. Your message is undiluted without it. We must be an example to others. Disagreement are no reason to be verbally abusive. Didn't intend to offend you with my rebuke. Peace bruh
