Visa Alert! And little testimony.

It's been heck of a journey. The last time I felt like this was in 2012 when Drogba was walking to take the last penalty kick...it was like forever.

It was almost impromptu. It was just late October we decided to apply. Almost too late for January enrolment. Admission came, but there was just no way we could meet the deadline for Pof at Bradford. But our agent said NO PROBLEM. so we took leap of faith, submitted four days POF. {don't use this as yardstick. It's just pure favour}.

Luckily, my wife was scheduled for interview. Alas, network took better part of the interview. Everyone she met on telegram got CAS but she didn't. We wrote a 'beautiful' letter to the interviewer and copied Andrew. Two hours later, CAS dropped. Hallelujah!

She applied but no date till 4th January and my son got Biometrics for 6th. I couldn't wait for them, I went ahead to submit my application on 20th, Biometrics on 22nd December. I applied for priority. (ain't that foolish? Main applicant has not done Biometrics, dependent dey do priority).

They dashed me NSF on 30th December and asked me to submit copy of my wife's application. I did same day. VAC dispatched my parcel yesterday, I received it today.

To crown it, my wife's passport arrived at TLS ikeja today also only after 7days. Wonderful God.

He who began the good work is capable to finish it as we await our son's application to be moved back to VAC.

I submitted a different bank account, submitted payslips because I had a study gap. The first bank is my salary account. I'm sure they want to confirm the payslips

Omg! From September? Have you deposited pof at that time? Why would they need 4 months statement?

Just got this. Biometrics on the 14th.

Merry Christmas to everyone. Thanks to @sirwellington for guidance. I submitted my application last Wednesday here in Dubai but please I have two questions.

1. I submitted my application but my sponsor who's the main application will just be having Biometrics on 4th January. IS THERE ANY IMPLICATION FOR SUBMITTING BEFORE MAIN APPLICANT? she could not get earlier date at ikeja TLS other than 4th.

2. I discovered today that we forgot to upload pof as supporting document for our son who has Biometrics on 6th January, WHAT CAN WE DO PLEASE?

Yes please. My wife and son will be there again today, after spending 12 hours there yesterday.

1279.11 usd was deducted as ihs for main applicant for 15months course. Is that accurate? Does that mean the dependents will also pay same?

Bradford guys, has anyone received CAS yet. Their silence is deafening. That last message from them was that the queue is long. Have you heard anything of recent?

Really, so I can't do priority in dubai? But I think application isn't much like there is in Nigeria.

In dubai sef our own is that there's no option for priority, all of us na standard we dey, both rich and poor.

Yes, my resident permit is valid. What about documents where my signature needs to appear like the consent letter. Can I simply sign and scan it back so that my wife can also sign or I need to sign and send through courier back to Nigeria? thanks for your response and congratulations again.

Yes, it is advisable if you have UAE resident permit. Mine expired, so I had no choice than to come back to Nigeria for the application.

My wife received email yesterday to exercise patience before being interviewed as the list is long and will be based on first come first served.

Response: Application currently awaiting decision. IHS Top up link was sent the next day

Response: Application still awaiting decision

Paid mail (Third): November 15th
Response: A decision has been made on your application.

TLS collection mail : November 18th

N.B: I have a study gap of 10 years, so I submitted a detailed CV and my personal company registration certificate.

I had a visa refusal in 2008. The reason was that one of the doc the agent used for me was fake. which ultimately carries a 10 year ban. I wasn't sure if I was effectively on a ten year ban or not but had to wait for more than 10 years b4 applying to UK again.

Doc Submitted:
Academic: (O'level Cert., BSc Cert., Transcript, UWE CAS)
Family: (Marriage Cert., Children Birth Cert. & Family Pictures).
POF: ( 2 Banks savings account & 1 MFB certificate of Investment).
OThers : (TB test Result, Previous visas, CV, CAC).

Still looking forward to my dependants pick up mails. They submitted a week after me due to non availability of appointment date. I wish everyone best of luck...

Daughter and I (Standard )
Biometrics done on 3rd Nov.
Non - straightforward mail for me, wife and daughter - 8th Nov.
Send a paid mail for my wife alone since she is the main applicant - 12th Nov.
Passport Collection mail - 17th Nov.
Visa pickup today

I thought they said uba is fast, 5days now and no deduction yet. We visited, yet they only claimed the problem is from headoffice.

Any advice on what to do first thing on Monday regarding this?

Yes. After mailing them day and night, they finally gave us 22nd November. And that will be a day to Bradford deadline.

So my wife walked in today, yet they refused her. The only thing they did was to comment on her document and asked us to be there 7am on 22nd.

So keep sending mail.

Not sure i understand u! Deadline on d offer is for payment of deposit. ..after which they will issue CAS.

Bradford didn't say anything about PoF.

Bro they need POF and the deadline is 23 November. Since they gave her offer just recently, I will advise that you call the school as they may make an exception for her. See the attached they sent me yesterday.

On a similar note, can I file my own application in UAE, while my 3yr old child file with her mom in Nigeria, but we are all using her account for pof.

You do have a chance but to avoid unnecessary stress, apply together with your husband. It doesn't matter whether he goes with you after he is issued visa or not. And moreover, he'd have to come visit you at some point, yeah?

My spouse got unconditional offer today from Bradford, we are making deposit of 2k tomorrow at uba.

To be honest, pof is yet to be counting, and there's no where on the offer letter requesting 28days pof,

1. Try sending email to the school to confirm its authenticity or speak a student advisor
2. Form A, try UBA it should 5 days max
3. The timeline for visa application is short defer to next available intake, then ask this question again and read the thread from page 1
