Foreign Affairs / Re: Lessons I Learnt From 2016 US Presidental Elections: Donald Trump's Victory by richie9093(m): 1:51am On Nov 12, 2016
Timbuktou, Mindfulness, you two should just get a room to do the needful
and ease the tension. Your banter is cracking me up.

You both have raised some salients points though. If I was an American, I don't know who I would have voted because we have a Misogynist and racist on one hand; A criminal (although only accused) and warmonger on the other hand.

Hillary has done many harms when he was in the Senate and also SoS. Who knows if we would have peaceful middle east and Libya without her actions.

The Donald on the other hand was just a loose cannon who talks without thinking. How will you deport 11 million immigrants? Do you know what this will do to the economy? Someone who doesn't think climate change isn't real and is only being propagated by the Chinese?

I guess it was a case of lesser evil in this past election. Throughout this campaign, Hillary's team never really bothered to talk about/hammer on her policies; all they did was attack the Donald and play the gender/race card (the only reason I'm happy she lost) which in turn is only going to create a us versus them thinking to the public.

Funny thing is, Trump may even surprise everyone and not even be as bad as he was during the campaign. He has been known to speak from both sides of his mouth. Afterall he has donated to Clinton's foundation and also donated for her when she was in Senate (they are both new yorkers) and he has also identified as a democrat in the past too.

All in all, the next 4 years will be fun to watch. America either implodes or be great again.

Bloody liars

The worlds leading rice producer is China with just an annual turnover of 144,000 tonnes

Why must these people always lie?

olodo. what they meant was those figures are in their thousands. in other words: 144,000 X 1000 = 144,000,000
104,800 X 1000 = 104,800,000

read the picture your posted again. carefully.

I'm really scared for our future as youths if we have people who still reason like you in 2016.

Back to the topic, I would not believe this story until I start seeing these rice in the market.

This is sad.

Culture / Re: Igbo Speaking Communities In Kogi State by richie9093(m): 4:41pm On Nov 04, 2016
oglalasioux:
Very educative post. Thanks, OP.

I'm particularly interested in the diversity of dialects in all languages. In Ebonyi State, for instance, there are more Igbo dialects than in all the Igbo speaking states.

I have come to the conclusion (speculative) that dialects suggest that other tribes joined the original tribes back in time and developed the dialects based on their original mother tongues.

The Ngbo people of Ebonyi State, in my opinion, are originally Idomas. Their dialect of the Igbo language is a pure intonation of the Idoma language. This is also true of the Nsukka people of Enugu state who speak Igbo with Igala intonation.

Most people don't know that the English language and German are 90% identical. Languages and dialects are pointers that the world is shaped by evolution.

Dutch actually, not German language.

But good point.

Atheists will always have in their mind that if you don't reason with them, you are not wise.

But Christians are also guilty of this too.

Christians (or religious people) also believe that if you don't reason with them, you're not wise too. Hence the discrimination and prejudice against who people who don't believe in their religious dogma.

Athiests are not satanists but just ignoramus who wish to remain so...

So I dont bother convincing them

Is it because they don't believe your God exists or because don't believe any god exists?

What about Moslems? Do you think they are devilish too? What about Zoroastrians, Sikhs, Jainists, Buddhists? Do you think they are devilish too?

I'm curious. Let me know.

Religion / I Have One Question. by richie9093(m): 11:51am On Oct 30, 2016
I have one question, why do some Christians (or followers of any organised religion) believe atheists are satanic and devilish?

I know atheists don't believe in God's existence and this should also mean they don't believe the devil exist too.

So why do you people say atheists are satanic all because they don't believe in the supernatural, having in mind satan himself exists in the supernatural realm? This seems like a fallacy, surely.

I guess people fear what they don't understand.

But my question still stands, why do people think atheist are satanic?

I would really love to hear your opinions on this. Thank you.

pls some1 shld teach me how to average down n get my invested capitals out. Thanks

I believe this should be of little help to you, bruh.

Dwizeone:
It simply means reducing the price you bought a particular stock. Take for instance you bought FBNH at #4.00 and it goes down to about #2.00, if you buy about the same unit at the new price (#2.00), the average price will go down from #4.00 to about #3.00. That's the meaning of averaging down. The upside is when the price pushes upward you will record profit on that stock faster if you average down.

Phi001:

You are very correct.
It's the story of when Mary Magdalene, the former prostitute that used to be possessed with 7 demons, came and anointed Jesus' feet with a very expensive perfume and Judas was saying that the perfume could have been sold for 300 denarii and the money given to the poor. Jesus was now like that they should not bother the woman, and that the poor would always be among them but the woman has chosen to do a beautiful thing to him...

but Jesus didn't say the beautiful thing she did was paying the tithe to the synagogue or him.

List out the ten commandment let me point out errors there for you....to prove to you that the commandmrnt was faulty, the people that God gave the 10 commandment where they able to keep it??, the answer is NO...in one of the commandmends God said remember the sabath day to keep it holy, are you still keeping it holy??, answer is NO...Truth is, the law was too mechanical/hard for them to keep that's why jesus had to come redeem us from the curse of the law....

What exactly are you saying? that the commandments moses brought down from mount Sinai after spending day and nights in God's presence is faulty? the commandments that were written by God himself is faulty?

but you who is a black man in Nigeria knows what is/was in God's mind want to narrate it for me?

doesn't all these tell you something is terribly wrong with the ethos of your religion?
Romance / Re: Is It Bad? by richie9093(m): 7:14pm On Oct 14, 2016
firstking01:
See your lifeundecided??....do you know if you die with this believe you are heading to hell niundecided??...

NOTE THIS...Those things you listed there were the law of moses, jesus came with a new commandment,...for the law of moses was of sin and death, can you imagine that?...if you sin they stone you to dead instanta, would you have prefered such law to live by?...now, jesus came and showed us the way the truth and the life, and the law jesus came with was attached with mercy why the law of moses had no mercy, you can seen and still be forgiven....let me stop here first...

Now, unto the op's question....Having a bf or gf is not bad but what the both of you are doing in the relationship is where God is concerned cool.

Cc tunmidon see this...i bow out.

so with this analogy you just gave, Are you saying we should disregard the ten commandments (which is also part of law of moses)?

Try buying recharge card to know the type of neighbours you have. If the maximum you can get is only 200 naira, well, you know the kind of neighbours you have.

Does dis make sense??

makes perfect sense. I just moved to this area about 2 months ago and I noticed they never sell my than ₦200 recharge cards over here.

Anytime I want to buy ₦500, I have to work down to the main bus stop..

only a few people will understand what that point meant. I makes you know the standard of living in that environment and how financially buoyant the people there are.

please I am entirely new to the stock exchange market. I am highly interested in investing...
Pls can anyone just give me the basics on what I need to do and what not to do. Thanks alot

Visit these sites:

http://www.make-money-stock-value-investing.com/beginners-guide-to-investing-1.html

http://www.investopedia.com/university/stocks

While you're reading/studying those articles, keep following this thread/forum too (trust me, it really helps).

When you've had ideas about the basics, you can download Stock Trainer or Best Brokers from Play Store if you're using an android phone (although the stocks in them are American but they'll give you ideas) for tutorials.

Or you can register on http://www.easykobo.com/StockTrials/. It an online free stock trial platform just like the Stock Trainer/Best Brokers app. The only thing is that EasyKobo is a website, not an app, but the stocks on it are naija based.

If you have any questions about what I've typed, bruh, just let me know. I'm at your service.
