Has dele momodu spent a few days in lagos recently to see how His Tinubu has stunted progress and development in the state? And thinks the same tinubu should be Nigeria's president? Dele momodu, you are worse than a goat! All you who worship money at the expense of the progress of the land, you have your date with the reaper soonest.
What has Tinubu achieved for Lagos which he has held captive since he was Governor? This is 2019 and yet lagos state can't boast of efficient transport system. Infrastructure is terrible, roads are zero. What is only perfect is agberoism, illegal taxation and oppression. That's his signature.
If Nigerian youths don't want to be wise, they will suffer endlessly. As of today, shame has prevented many Tinubu supporters from complaining about total standstill of development in lagos state.

How just one man sits in the destiny and progress if lagos is baffling to me. Lagosians seem not tired yet of all these heartless and demonic politicians who don't mind looting till their last breath.
May their souls burn eternally, may their families never ever know peace even in their graves and cursed shall they remain for eternity.
Even in their deteriorating health, they are still looting. See them? Is this what you want lagosians? For how long?

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced the acquisition of 800 new BRT buses.

The governor made the announcement via a tweet, where he also announced the commencement of the expansion of the BRT lanes in the state.

According to the Governor, “Beyond road construction, we have started expanding the bus rapid transit system and gradually reducing the danfo buses on the roads. I am excited to announce that we have purchased over 800 buses to add to the existing BRT fleet expanding to more routes”

“We are supportive of private investment in transportation that is non-exploitative. This week, I launched @UberBoat, the first of many private-sector efforts at providing safe & efficient water transport working with our water transportation initiatives.”

The Lagos BRT

The Lagos BRT was established on 17 March 2008. It is the first BRT scheme in Sub-Saharan Africa. It started operations on a 22-kilometer radial highway BRT lanes that connect Mile 12 and Lagos Island. That is, it ran from Mile 12 through Ikorodu Road and Funsho Williams Avenue, Eko Bridge up to CMS.

Former Governor of Lagos State, Akinwumni Ambode, in May 2017, donated 50 new BRT buses to the private operator of the BRT service in Lagos.

Primero Transport Service Limited is the sole BRT operator in Lagos State.

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday apprehended some traffic defaulters.

Sanwo-Olu in his statement stressed that there is no excuse for road users to break traffic rules.

The Governor said,

"There's no excuse for road users to break traffic rules by taking one-way and going against traffic. Today was an unlucky day for perpetrators of this selfish and disorderly act. Behaviour such as this will not be tolerated. Let's not make total bedlam of our roads."

I had to create this account today for this. It's really eating me up and I am tired.
I am 24, will be 25 soon. I am this indoor person and so I hardly meet people. My first relationship ended like two years back and I haven't been in a reasonable one since then.
I meet people online cos I don't get to meet them offline, most of the guys I meet are based in different state from mine and they don't mind me visiting, but once I tell them I live with my parents and would need their permission to come visit, they just stop getting in touch. I have lost over 5 potential partners because of this, they all feel we should be comfortable with ourselves first before putting parents matter into it. Na so....Thats for people that don't know about the road, maybe people coming from the Bayelsa, Rivers state axis of the East West road to the Southwest or North or vice versa. Areas like us wey dey ply the route almost everyday., we dey use keke reach the bad spot, use leg cross, enter motor wey dey drop passengers from Benin/Oghara/Sapele. Before, drivers go through Eku to come out at Amukpe roundabout but that route has been destroyed by the trailers too. The truth is that trailers and trucks are the number one road spoilers in Nigeria before you consider effect of bad construction or rain. They destroyed that route, they destroyed the Adeje route, they destroyed Eku route. It's terrible

This is sad. I feel your pain.
Now you understand how corruption is worse than a virus. Until we as Nigerians feel the pain of the effects of corruption, we may never change. If we collectively turn a new leaf, Nigeria can be the heaven we seek on earth. Any Nigerian that needs urgent medical attention is certain to die on the way to the shabby house called a Nigerian hospital. Oha are you sure you have information on that road? Kindly tell us who handled east west road project? When was it awarded? Was total funds mobilized for the project? Did the man in charge deliver as promised?

I used that road recently and it's sad that Buhari could abandon such a major road that cuts across all Niger Delta states (Nigeria's cash cow). I mean, this is the region that provides Nigeria with over 90% of it's revenue.

I'm not sure Buhari has added a single kilometer to that road since GEJ handed over to him in May 2015

The Lagos - Calabar coastal rail line which GEJ also handed over to him is now abandoned. Nothing is heard about it anymore.

100 days has come and gone and Sanwo Olu has done absolutely nothing compared to the last administration that was able to do Abule egba flyover, Ajah flyover, epe township roads etc. What has Sanwo Olu done? Please don't misinform people about these estates. The last administration completed them. Anyone living around igando can testify to this.
Don't relax and support Sanwo Olu just to spite ambode just as Ambode tried to do to his predecessor. Lagosians should be asking for more from their politicians. I feel ashamed that lagos makes so much IGR and collects so much from the centre and yet offers its people almost nothing in return.
Go to Akwa ibom, Ebonyi, anambra, Kano just to mention a few and see what states are offering people. Most of the infrastructure in lagos today was provided by the military administration. Ambode didn't abandon these estates. Please don't joint bad politicking to misinform the public. Anyone who lives around igando knows that the project was completed already by the last administration. What was left was the process of allocation which has stalled for a while. Sanwo olu did nothing but just commission what has been done already.
Don't give sanwo olu any credit for what he hasn't done. By the end of 4 years lagosians will be surprised and dumbfounded that Sanwo Olu won't be able to list any major project he has initiated and completed.

There is no way a northerner will take over after Buhari. It will be the undoing of the North and I guess they wouldn't want the problems that comes with it. Insecurity is high and most middle belt states have been ravaged by criminals who many term as Fulani. That alone is enough to deny the north of whoever comes out to contest.

As much as I agree that fairness has to be considered, we shouldn't throw away hardwork and smart politicking. There's never a time Nigeria will just tell Igbo to come and take presidency. It never works that way.
Will Igbo just sit down and fold arms without building bridges across divides? Will they not go round and campaign? Should they not join political parties without stereotyping themselves?

They should spread across all political parties, contest primaries, campaign across Nigeria, earn the position and you will be surprised how an Igbo man will win the presidency swiftly. Just a little effort from a smart Igbo man and the voice of fairness and sympathy by the masses will see such a man winning. Such an election would be difficult to rig!

But all the political neophytes and ignoramuses think anyone can become president by just playing the victim card. Did the bragging of Asari Dokubo and Dame Patience guarantee GEJ a second term? No! GEJ knew all these but many of his ignorant family members caused more problems for him with their utterances.

In politics, if you can't earn your way through, it means you are very unpopular!
