Hatian President who was assassinated refused shipments of vaccinations for his people. Our leader has accepted vaccinations for his people. Which one is really cursed?

@ topic. Earlier this morning... learned a fairly new workmate was from Haiti ... got into convo about Haiti and earthquake came up. It was said the earthquake about 10 years ago was really a bomb... possible since Haiti never really had a history of earthquakes ... but I really wanted to know if they were aftershocks. A bomb... one time. Earthquakes... aftershocks. He said there were ... for a pretty long time. They never knew what happened since they never experienced not even a little tremor. Less than an hour later... he called me showing videos of this earthquake that his people in Haiti were sending him. I just hope the Red Cross and others don't go rushing in.... again. The last time they did .... they brought cholera to Haiti that wiped out thousands of Haitians. Then the blame game started.

He may not be far from the truth. Many humans across the globe have no idea the kind of weapons the world powers have and are daily researching. Earthquakes can be induced. Japan knows this very much. The question I have for those who are vast in geology is this, are there a water ways underneath the earth? Can missiles be transported through these paths? As in guided missiles. If a nuclear war head is carefully guided through these paths, you can imagine what the shockwaves would be like thereafter. It's a pity Haitians are tactically being wiped out.

Who did this to you na? Or is it that you don't take time to study Nigerian ethnic groups? Etsako people have no roots with igbo. Etsako people are Afenmai people. They have their roots from Benin. I dare you to go there and mention Biafra to them or even mention Nnamdi KANU.....body go tell you. Our grandparents told us how igbo soldiers invaded parts of Etsako land during the coercive and manipulative civil war but thank goodness we fished them all out. cheesy

When Nnamdi Kanu says we are taking some Edo people with us to Biafra, these are some of the people. These are pure Igbo blood.

This is an insult to Etsako people.
I expected this comment to come from people like you.
Ogbona may have meaning in igbo but it also has another meaning in Etsako language. Etsako people have no bearing, link whatsoever with igbo people. Etsako language has its roots in the Edoid language. Yam is celebrated even as far as in the gwari kingdom. Let everyone enjoy his ethnic diversity and stop all these traits of domination and expansionist tendencies. Even if Nigeria splits today, Etsako people will return to the Midwestern Nigeria province created by plebiscite of 1963.
Edo culture is seen as far as Onitsha but we don claim ownership of onitsha...all these igbo online warriors always trying to misinform people should stop!

I'm the last born in the family, all the members of the family had gotten married except me.
I'm 32 now, just rounded up my study. I'm into farming, school works and doing catering work as well. I'm financially balance. I have not gone into a relationship before, I just ignore that aspect because I believe in the principle of "one thing at a time".

Now that I'm through with my study and I have something doing, I'm planning of going into a relationship and get married at least by 2023 but I'm perceiving there's going to be a problem between me and my family.

My family is very selective, very selective... There was a time a friend started visiting me anytime I went to the village, my mother notice it and told me that the girl is not welcome in the family, she gave me her reason too, I told my Mom she is just a friend and nothing more.

Today my neice got married, I invited my crush and she came to the wedding and I introduced her to my family as my friend, when the ceremony was going on, my sister told me and I quote "this girl you brought is not acceptable, she is too old for you, "common" she is just 27 and am 32... I told my sister that we are just friends and nothing more, then she said better...

I don't want to have any issue with my family in marring a girl but I'm afriad problem might be inevitable because I won't want my family to choose who or who not to marry, I have never had issue with my family before, they love me very much and we are living happily.

One mind is telling me to follow my heart another mind is telling me don't let a woman bring issue between you and your family...
Gosh! family get wahala! What is wrong in marring a girl of 27 years and I'm 32. (5years different)

I'm not ready for any family wahala...
Please how do you handle this kind of issue.

Career / Re: What You Should Know About Some Interviews by richiepolymer(m): 8:17pm On Jun 16, 2021
KazikageSama:
Sometime ago I applied for a role at a very popular multinational. I prepared hard for it like my life depended on it (cos it was my dream company). I had 3 levels of interview including working on a project and making presentations to someone who'd be my Manager and a colleague. The feedback from my sessions were very encouraging that I was already preparing to have a contract negotiation.

Then I didn't hear from the coy for a long time, I did multiple reminders to the internal recruiter but most went unanswered until after a month, she responded that although my performance was good and my experience was impressive but they have decided to go with an "Internal solution".
What the heck is "Internal solution"? I later learnt that the entire interview process was a facade. The recruiter and managers already agreed to fix another employee into the role but for sake of audit and crossing all Ts, they decided to interview external candidates for the same role but regardless of our performance, we didn't stand a chance. It was just feigned transparency.

I imagine how many candidates get called up for interviews, they prepare with everything they've got, have sleepless nights to brush themselves up, put on their best appearance and abandon all the other serious things they could have done because they believe their prayers have been answered. Unfortunately when the feedback is sent and they are rejected. They'd beat themselves up, feel depressed and think they aren't good enough. Little do they know that they never really stood a chance. They were just a dot on the I and a cross on the T

Well.....if you must know, many organizations conduct interviews just to pick brains. From there they gather solutions to some of the challenges they face within. I had similar experience some years back and I left the interview in annoyance. I didn't wait till the end of the interview. I discovered that the interviewer was asking very technical questions and while I was proffering solutions, the idiot was recording the answers and from his body language I could sense his joy over the answers. I had to stop talking and asked him why he was taking down the answers. I stood up and left the premises. I had gotten information earlier that they have been interviewing people for months yet didn't employ anyone.
To all those who attend interviews, be smart. You should know if they truly need you or they're just trying to use you. Nigeria is a jungle!

Please I challenge you to visit those sites and take a picture of those locations the OP is claiming! Or better still use google earth to check. Those claims are false! Those pictures are not the true pictures of those locations. Let the OP swear with his life on this. Are we not truly the enemies of ourselves and the ones distorting facts?
That post by the OP is PROPAGANDA!!! And he should be ashamed of himself! Ordinary Ebonyi that isn't an oil producing state has more infrastructure than Edo despite the solid minerals, Gas, Oil wells and Oil palm that Edo has.
Please list the names of the 1500 schools, their locations with pictures. Abi no be the same Edo state wey I school for over 12 years?
All these MOU mentioned by Obaseki, where exactly did Edo funds go? Ebonyi didn't do MOU's they delivered projects and paid for them and yet have the least indebtedness.

Esejojo:

The OP stated locations where these projects are located.

CCETC-Ossiomo Power Plant

CCETC-Ossiomo Power Plant is located at Ologbo community in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area (LGA), Edo State.

The Edo State Fertilizer and Chemical Company Limited (ESFCCL)
ESFCCL plant is located in Auchi, Edo State.

Benin Industrial Park

The Sapele Road Axis of Benin City,

Edo Modular and Refinery Company Limited
The refinery located at Ologbo in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area (LGA).

Gelegele Port
Gelegele Town in OviaLocal Government Area

As for the images, it is a design plan/sketch of the Industrial Park that is currently being constructed. Companies are setting up show there currently. It is tied to the CCETC-Ossiomo Power Plant that was recently test-ran. As soon as the place is connected to the power plant, industrial activities will commence in full.

As for the schools, are you saying Edo State does not have 1,500 public primary and junior secondary schools in the State?

I think the originator of this post is cheap to say the least.
Most of those images you uploaded are lies! The picture of that refinery you uploaded is a lie! A stolen picture and there's nothing that looks like that anywhere in Edo state.
Where is the benin industrial park? Where? That photo too is a lie! There's nothing that looks like that.
Please when last did you go to gelegele? Is there any port there?
You can only succeed in misleading feeble minds who won't dare to find out the truth for themselves.
As for revenues collection, yes govt now collects revenue directly but how is the revenue managed now? And let's stop all the lies about Edo having over 1500 public schools.
It is sad!
Obaseki is riding on the back of strong propaganda to deceive the very people he claims to serve.

I haven't said she was not raped.
Why would they rape her? What did they stand to gain raping her? And inside the church?
See, I don't want to blow my trumpet.
They carried out whatever post mortem and told us she was raped, we know.
Who paid the boys? Have you asked yourself? Which of the women could afford 1.5 million?
Has the suspect's accounts been investigated? Has the church pastor's account been investigated?

Hmm.
Nigerian Police! Who una wan deceive? Do you people have conscience at all?

Let everyone watch the video clip and read between the lines.
If the police could investigate the landlady's accounts and found nothing whatsoever linking her to all the allegations, why parading her?
Obviously they want to rope her in the case. Why? you may ask. The real kingpin fears that that landlady may talk. She may say what? That the late Uwaila may have been involved with the kingpin.
The main guy that made the confession obviously was involved. He sounds like he trying to cover up his sponsor hence the reason his trying to rope his landlady. Why didn't the police investigate his accounts? Oh...the police wouldn't want us to know that part.
The other guy's mom was just picked for no reason.
What I'm sensing here is that Uwa may have been pregnant for someone. Pregnant for someone who's reputation may have been at stake. To cover it up, uwa had to be taken care of so some boys were hired to do the job and paid some money. That is the only sensible reason to have murdered uwa.

Its just my wild imagination though.
