Health / Re: How Do You Cure Depression? by richolly(m): 12:30am On Mar 31, 2006
taking anti-depression pills will certainly cause more harm than good on the long run. addiction to the pills will make you feel than you can never be happy without taking it.

there are easier ways of curing it,

first of all, dont call yourself "depressed" and dont see yourself as being depressed.
secondly, recall those things that used to make you happy and try to do them again if you can but if not, just relish those moments.
thirdly, this may sound stupid but you can write few good statements and start declaring that you are happy. doing this consistently will make you feel better and then happiness sets in.
lastly, once you have that happiness, no matter how little, dont let it go. do whatever you can to keep a good state of mind eg reading motivational books, talking to friends, e.t.c

the picturing power of the mind, as you must have heard several times is the easiest, simplest and cheapest way to get yourself out of any seemingly difficult situation. try as much as possible to forget those things that are getting you depressed and move on with your life. you are not the first person to be in this state and will definitely not be the last but remember, there is always a bright light at the end of the tunnel

@pojutime

correction, toni is not a woman, she's a lady and a beautiful one for that matter. i haven't seen her before but beauty can never be hidden. it shows one way or the other.

I'll nominate her as the NAIRALAND WOMAN OF THE MONTH OF MARCH and i hope seun will present her with the award.
Sports / Re: Utaka: Nigeria's Current Hottest Striker by richolly(m): 2:40am On Mar 25, 2006
for once, i'll agree with you. the guy is handsome and talented.

Utaka plays as a striker for his club but is always pinned to the wing when playing for nigeria. Even at Korea/Japan, Onigbinde used him as a striker but Chukwu and his successor have never tried him there. his ability to play any role is responsible for this and if we dont move him back to his preferred role, we'll keep searching for strikers.

I'd have preffered a striking partnership of Utaka and Martins at the Nations cup, Utaka to do all the playing and Martins to do the tapping in.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: If Ballack Joins Chelsea? Who's Benched by richolly(m): 2:33am On Mar 25, 2006
@Akolawole

Ballack on the wing? or as a striker?? men!! i tire for you oh!!!

from stories emanating from BBC, its like Lampard is on his way out which is where Ballack comes in. Its possible Frank moves to Barca. If he doesn't move, then its likely ageing Makelele suffers for it.

Who mentioned Mikel's name?? that boy needs flogging

Sports / Re: Adriano Or Ronaldo, Who Should Be Brazil's 9 In Germany? by richolly(m): 2:24am On Mar 25, 2006
@Akolawole

no matter which side you turn to, left, right, front or back, i'll be there waiting for you.

what do you mean by Ronaldo ke? a quarter fit Ronaldo will still be the top goal scorer at the world cup as long as people like kaka, Ronaldinho, Juninho and Ze Roberto are playing behind him.

Back to the no.9 issue, as long as Ronaldo is part of the national team, no other person, dead or alive will wear that shirt.

Adriano is my boy and should play alongside THE PHENOMENON but has no choice but to settle for the no.19 shirt for now. skills and strenght play no part in jersey selection.

Sports / Re: Is Wrestling Real Or Acted? by richolly(m): 12:57am On Mar 24, 2006
Rhodalyn,

dont be deceived. when was the last time you heard that someone broke his/her arm or leg in a wrestling ring. twenty years plus, that would have been true but nowadays, FORGET IT!!!

it is so obvious, that even nigerian home videos are better acted
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Job Interview Tips - Urgent by richolly(m): 12:33am On Mar 24, 2006
@LoverBwoy
you are a wonderful fellow. thanx for helping out. i dont think anybody can put it in a better way.

@nawah
wish you the best. we're looking forward to popping champagne with you
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Wenger Secretely Sign a Six-footer by richolly(m): 12:59am On Mar 23, 2006
why are you chelsea fans always against anything Wenger or Arsenal does.

@giddy
what do you know about football or coaching that you labelled Wenger "confused"

@Akolawole
the six footer is relatively unknown and i'm sure wenger will turn him to a star if he evntually buys him. even kanu was better known when he moved to arsenal

sincerely speaking, it will be better if we could just put sentiments aside and say things as they really are which is why i always love the contributions of CODEC and PIE1ECT
Romance / Re: Give Me One Reason To Love A Nigerian Man by richolly(m): 2:42am On Mar 22, 2006
As per nigerian men, they can either be fantastic or not just like other nationals. it depends on individuals. it will only be better to choose from a culture that you understand most. if you are planning to settle in nigeria, then, a nigerian man will be ideal for you but if not, i will advise you face somewhere else.

By the way, you didnt tell us why you are so critical and dismissive of nigerian men. that will really help in this analysis
Sports / Re: Henry For Barca! by richolly(m): 2:27am On Mar 22, 2006
@Akolawole

bros!!!!!! why, bros, why

i do not want to sound as if i'm antagonizing you but you are always facing the opposite direction. all you are concerned with is chelsea and chelsea related issues and which almost always are not really correct.

i know you can do better
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: For Your Viewing Pleasure- R. V. Nistelrooy Vs T. Henry by richolly(m): 2:18am On Mar 22, 2006
ordinarily, i'll pick Henry ahead of Ruud but there are some other issues we have to consider,

one-on-one with keeper, Ruud
headers,, Ruud
passing, Henry
dribbling, Henry

@ thekrafter

the stats does not show much difference but you didnt put substitute appearances into cognisance. those 215 games, did they start or what
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: It's Arsenal Against Juventus by richolly(m): 2:02am On Mar 22, 2006
@Akolawole

you sure well know that you wouldn't have made such an audacious statement 2 seasons ago. be prepared to stop watching soccer next season because the gunners are getting back into shape.

and to think that even fulham is flogging "your blues", , BE PREPARED

hi toni,

i'm sure you'll stop if you consider people like me but maybe i'm just one bad egg. a lot of people( registered or not) depend on you for info and they're always sure to get it. even if we didnt tell you before now, we all are very grateful for your magnanimity in sharing and helping.

the unmerited favour(s) you are receiving/will receive may be as a result of this.

pls reconsider

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Tip For Finding Work In A Bank: Drop Your CV by richolly(m): 11:58pm On Mar 12, 2006
cool your mind Funmi,

did you make a 2.1 or a 2.2 ? how many places have you dropped your CV? are you experienced or a fresher? if you truly need a job, you need to be more specific. why not start by applying for the mtn stuff.
Sports / Re: English Premiership Or Spanish La Liga??? by richolly(m): 12:09am On Mar 12, 2006
Codec my guy, you're wonderful. Its either La liga or Serie A. The premiership is all about noise and the British media. There's so much hype but little skill.

Remove the top 4 teams and see what you have left. Try the same for Italian and Spanish leagues and you have more excitement.
Sports / Re: World's Most Entertaining Football Team by richolly(m): 11:58pm On Mar 11, 2006
men!!! AKOLAWOLE is too biased. How in this world will anybody say that the Gunners are the most entertaining team? And to say that entertainment doesn't go together with result is the sorriest thing i've ever read.

my candid opinion and the opinion of the generality of unbiased football lovers is that BARCA IS IT. maybe UEFA should have paired Barcelona with Arsenal so that we can all see.

As per the best coach out of the four, I'll go for mourinho regardless of his dysentery infected mouth. In the world, I'll choose Capello.

By the way, Akolawole, I'm a Gunner to the core and next season will be wonderful for us because at the moment, we're just gelling.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Tip For Finding Work In A Bank: Drop Your CV by richolly(m): 11:29pm On Mar 11, 2006

I'll drop my CV but be sure to hear from me ASAP if they dont.

hi toni, sorry for bothering you again. Maybe you can be of help since you're an HR person. I checked your profile but your mail address is hidden. I'd be glad if you could just go through my Cv and tell me what's wrong with it but I cant post it on the net. Its actually 5 pages and I dont know if its too much or not. By the way, I only have about 5 years experience.

so,,,what do i do
