Tomcorp: Dear Nigerian Mothers, brainwashing your daughters at early age to grow up and look for a man that will solve all of her generational problems is a fast way to destroy her life. This should not be the goal and vision of a female child. It is an abuse of purpose. There are too many damaged young ladies out there with this erroneous mindset, planted in them by their mothers. When they can't find the "messiah" they seek. They seem to be lost and frustrated in life. I don’t think mothers are sitting down and brainwashing their daughters. They see it all around , the read it in newspapers and listen to it radio and watch on TV. Without funds to send girls to school who do you think gets sent to the market when there is no money . It’s the society that fails girls. Where the father ! Can’t the father I still positive reinforcement. On top of all the mothers do why aren’t the fathers involved ? |

Romance › Re: My Terrible Experience With Hookup Girl I Met On Facebook by rickleye: 1:39pm On Nov 08, 2022*. Modified: 11:34pm On Nov 09, 2022 |
NovoLag: So I recently came back to Lagos and man has been terribly bored.
I think I should use this opportunity to beg Nigerian girls to please consider us fine boys If anyone had told me a full blooded fine boy like me will find it hard to have a decent relationship with a girl, I would’ve laughed it off.. it’s just soo hard to get a girl to date these days as a fine boy. They’ll think you’re a cheat or something It’s darn tiring.
So back to my story; so I sent out a few messages on Facebook to some girls who were into the hookup business and after a few minutes I got replies from a few and I finally settled for one that lives closer to me.
We settled for an amount. Sent her my pics and got hers She looked pretty average and decent.
First red flag when this girl refused to come in the afternoon. Said she had a few errands to run and can only come about 7 in the evening.
When she finally came, it was past 9. Had wanted us to use my apartment but on a second thought I paid for a room nearby.
Omo when this girl showed up, she was entirely different from the person I met on Facebook. Not that it was a different person, but something was just off about her.
As per se body don full, I welcomed her into the room, gave her cash as she requested.
Now down to business; “where is your condom”? She was just looking at me like she never heard of condoms before.
She said she didn’t come with any o… that she doesn’t mind going raw. Ha
I’m grateful that my head won over my prick.. I went down to a nearby Aboki and bought a condom.
Came up, wore the bags, was about to penetrate and this girl coughed so loudly I had to go put on the main light and saw that this girl was visibly and obviously sick.
I don’t know what she was sick of, but she was shivering. Omo
She kept saying I should go ahead that it’s just small cough… mehn at that point my prick don go down. Then she said I should try raw, then if my prick gets strong again I can then use a bag.
I kept trying to understand the mumu talk.., like I should penetrate without a condom, then wear a condom later when my prick gets stronger..
This girl was out to end my life!
I just wore my trousers and left the room. I think there’s a set of frustrated people who are out there sharing diseases in Lagos. Man gats be very careful these days. Thanks for the write up. There are just some basic things that an olosho should have wipes , jelly and condoms. That’s why I don’t do 10k olosho. If your fee is not 20k I know do. The soup wey sweet na money kill am. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Will Explore Nuclear Energy To Generate Electricity by rickleye: 1:13pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
denitro: Nigeria is the craziest country I know,. President is ending his tenure and still in campaign mode "I will" all the nuclear power plants will be useless because the Disco are still rejecting power despite the small amount being generated, why will they not reject more power then? We have office of the president not paying power bill Ministries not paying power bill Police, Military all owning billions in light bills Disco then only sending power to high paying customers and leaving large part of the country in darkness despite having the means to accept power to send to them.
SHORT TERM The solution to Nigeria's power problem is simple "GOVERNMENT SHOULD PAY FOR POWER" Cancel the whole Goodluck Jonathan stupid privatisation and pay whatever compensation their lawsuit will bring. Create a better system of distribution and force everyone to use Prepaid "including the office of the president"
LONG TERM Cancel fuel subsidy and replace it with power subsidy, meaning everyone gets power for free. "it will be far cheaper than fuel subsidy cost and you are sure labor will never protest it because everyone stands to benefit" Pull funds from the excess crude account and establish a 200MW power station in each states. Lagos and all states close to the coastal area will use wind power. Oil rich states will focus on gas turbine the north on dams. 200 x 36 = 7,200 MW then ensure that the total preinstalled 18,000 MW is repaired and everything is working. We can establish 25,000 MW in 2 years. That is how the developed countries developed. We celebrate mediocracy here in Nigeria. Look at the presidential candidates and you will weep for this country. Na e I dey talk. We never utilize Sun ( Sun Panels) , wind and even water ( how many dams we get ? ) we what to start nuclear. I disagree with you on removing fuel unless you are giving the money directly into the hands of the masses like a N2000 monthly cheque for all those earning a certain amount monthly removing fuel subsidy will start riots . Giving everyone power is not possible. As most people are invested in inverters. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Will Explore Nuclear Energy To Generate Electricity by rickleye: 1:04pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
Why on earth are we going into nuclear. We never harness Sun and water and wind energy. Just another abandoned project and money pit to siphon money from the masses. Utilize and implement the easier solutions that starting nuclear. |
Family › Re: Marriage: My Mother Inlaw Calls My Wife Everyday Is It Proper? by rickleye: 12:17pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
Mide70: Please I need your opinion on this issue.
Though before I got married I discovered my mother inlaw calls all her daughters both married and unmarried everyday (only 3 ladies no boys) and they fear her to the bone.
At times every morning and night just to talk to them but I believe when they get married they need privacy and respect but this is not the case for my mother-in-law and I detest such act.
Mind you I'm not against call or trying to break the bond but I believe this is marriage. I'm looking for a way to stop all that
I'm I wrong or right to take that step ? Unless your wife ( her daughter ) is complaining what is the issue .? She could be checking in on their well-being She could be checking in on the kids She could be checking in on your well being. I think the bigger issue is that you two don’t get along. Her calls can’t be more than 5-10mins daily. So what happens if the calls become chats - will that disturb you as well ? Bro I don’t see this as an issue. Pls don’t make it one. |

Politics › Re: Lagos Agberos Untouchable Because Of Government Backing – Drivers’ President by rickleye: 11:52am On Nov 05, 2022 |
uuzba: A similar thing happened in India. Men will rape women. When women report, and take the case to court, the court will throw out the case and let the mango free. So a group of women gathered together and beat and killed the raping men. They continued to do that, one raping man after another, until the raping stopped
This is a situation that the bus drivers have to take the laws into their own hands No you can’t , it’s like the case a few weeks ago when 2 civilians beat up 2 cops . Those civilians were traced a few days later beaten and dragged to a police station. Violence is never the answer. It was to demonstration and civil uprising to bring about change. If we all marched to Alausa every day for 2 weeks and blocked Sanwo olu on his way to office he will talk now. But they are backed by the government so nothing is going to happen. |
Politics › Re: Lagos Agberos Untouchable Because Of Government Backing – Drivers’ President by rickleye: 11:46am On Nov 05, 2022 |
There are just so many redundant roles everywhere it’s unbelievable. Let each danfo owner buy their ticket or pay taxes online or at the designated places. There is zero need for Agbero. But as the dude said 100Naira per trip to 10 different checkpoints per vehicle.
Create practical jobs - either waste collection or traffic wardens or paid computer school classes, manufacturing , farming . Nursing aids,
There are police , vio , lastma , rrs - all this should be rolled into one unit. Different uniforms like rainbow colour.
You go to the airport - - money changers, Touts, Agbero, luggage checkers ( 6 different places) when you have an expensive luggage X-ray machine yet you still carry out manually luggage inspection ? You are about to board a plane, you have to subject yourself again to search again ?
Population check no dey. I mean you have 4 kids per family on average all these grow up to fight for x number of jobs in the city. There is no job creation where do you expect them to feed their families? Teaching is not attractive- they don’t get paid well .
Move companies away from city center too crowded. Anyways sha !
You all putting your trust in one man Peter Obi. It will take all of us . Nija issue are self made complex in nature.
On one side you have the person who caused the rise of Agberos and touts - shouldn’t he be the one to clean up after himself ?
I don’t see those that are making money and enjoy the chaos called Nigeria just up and disappearing overnight. |
Family › Re: Why Do Nigerians Get Triggered When You Ask What Someone Does For A Living by rickleye: 4:01pm On Nov 04, 2022 |
CountVersailles: It's a pretty simple reason. Many make money illegitimately and people try to operate a "don't ask, don't tell" policy to shut down inquiries regarding what they do for a living. It's actually hard to find a Nigerian who is rich or became rich legitimately. The economic situation is very bad, so bad that if people were to earn their money legitimately, you won't see houses for prices in the hundreds of millions like 300m, 400m. It's just impossible. How much is the average salary in the country that houses should be quoted at such prices? In Canada, houses can cost average of 500k CAD, but the average annual earning is in the range of 50k CAD. Even then, most Canadians cannot drop cash and buy houses at the market rate. They have to do mortgage. Then you find Nigerians, putting hand in their pocket and paying cash values of 300m, 400m. It's just ridiculous. For many, it's either they are stealing from their employers or stealing from the country.
Just look at Obi Cubana, for example, what does he do for a living? Nobody dares ask. And if you probe, they tell you that you are a hater. They get all defensive, and for good reasons too. He earns his money illegitimately. Look at Cubana chief priest, Mofa, etc. These are the scum of the earth. People making money in whatever way that the end justifies the means. If they made their money legitimately, you will see the evidence out there. In industry and everywhere else.
In summary, they get defensive because they have defense for how they earn their money. They know they are up to illegal shiit and as a result don't have the courage to own up to it. That's the simple fact. The consequence is that Nigeria is going to get worse for it. That's for sure. The country can only get worse based on this development, as true economic success will evade the country for years to come. True economic success does not rely on illegal activities like drug pushing and stealing; it relies on innovation, industrial development, and less corruption. This is why 10 years from now, I don't expect Nigeria to be anywhere. There will be more corruption and the dollar value will likely be at 2000 by then. All thanks to people like Obi Cubana and Cubana chief priest, etc. Where in Canada you dey ? Who is Obi Cubana ? |
