Quite Painful which almost threatened my current relationship and caused havoc for my sister.

This childhood friend and I had a quite good relationship . I gave him a soft loan, so he paid off just the low interest every month. This occurred over 2 years with no incident. He however needed an increase. I told him nope, he again solicited me and said it could be short loan. I informed him my sister wants to buy a house in 3 month and that I had reserved the money to loan her.
He swore on all known deities dead and alive that he would not fail. So i transferred 8Million. Come July 15 when payment was due.. instead of chats, I am getting voice notes, excuses upon excuses. To say, I was hurt was a disappointment I felt betrayed - like a dying a death by a 1000's knives. I had to say et tu brutus ! It was a crushing realization that nobody could be trusted. My heart was black, It had been poisoned.
In addition, the interest of the existing loan stopped nor have I gotten the principal back 5Million . So a total of N13million all gone.

My S.O who was against the initial loan and to whom I showed & boasted that he was different and an exception discovered that the interest payment and principal stopped was Irate as hell. Who could blame her. When you have a hole the size of a vehicle in your finances you tend to react that way.

So I don't care if he comes back to return the money plus accrued interest . He can keep it . I don't want to ever see him and his family ever again. I have placed him in a coffin , nailed the coffin and buried him.

The same love and care I had for him is now replaced with bitter hatred and disgust.

So I don't care how genuine and pathetic and true you story is ... I am not buying what you are selling.

I have been married with 2 grown up kids for more than 2 and half decades, 2 months ago my wife got in contact with one of her secondary school classmate, someone she has lost contact with since they left school 3 decades ago.

So they started calling each other, though my wife told me about him and sometimes they talked on phone in my presence but later my wife will go to her room to talk with the guy, most times in the night.

This calls always excite my wife that I could hear her laughing and I begin to get jealous and I decided to get to know what they usually talk about.

They later moved to chatting on WhatsApp and will be doing call at night. I noticed my wife started making sure her phone isn't within my reach, making sure she didn't leave her phone carelessly. We both know each others phone password, One day I get access to her phone and I open her whatsapp. I noticed that my wife is flirting with the guy, the guy wil be refering to my wife as his wife but my wife usually won't respond to this,
They were exchanging pictures, and admiring each others pictures.

The guy was proffesing love to my wife but wiffy won't reciprocate to this advances.
Once a while I use to check wiffy's phone for any new development, and I find out wiffy use to send both money and airtime for data to the guy (my wife is into a lucrative business and money isn't her problem).

So one day a friend of mine send me a short porn video which I showed to my wife, she requested me to forward it to her, (I was surprised by this her request because she usually frown at porn), I sent it to her on her Facebook messenger instantly, but I was suspicious of what she wanted to do with the porn video. 2 days later she called me that she wanted to send the video to a female friend of her on WhatsApp but she didn't know how to forward the video from messenger platform to whatsapp.

I now forwarded the porn video to her on WhatsApp because I was curious what she wanted to do with the porn video, lol and behold my wife forwarded the video to this guy with a vulgar comment. I can't imagine my wife using the word 'toto', I have never heard this word from her
I now find out that this guy has earlier sent to my wife a porn video which she later deleted. I was shocked by these discoveries. My wife that frowns at obscene words is now using one in a chat with a man and even exchanging porn with him.

Even some gift items I kept in the house, I discovered my wife gifted them to this guy.
After these discoveries, I confront my wife with the evidence but she find it hard to deny and she said that she didn't know what she was doing with the guy was wrong that she didn't know the implications,
She told me she did not have any sexual contact with the guy and she swear about this, but I find it hard to believe, though I didn't find any evidence of this in their chats,
I am heart broken, this is a woman I trust so much,
Though she begged me and told me she won't have contact with the guy again, but I find it hard to believe.

I plan to throw her out. Is this the best decision?

Let me tell you some short experiences I decided not to.
1. Your wifey just trying to connect with a friend someone who knew her before the demands of life swallowed her up.
2. Talk to her and ask her how she would feel if you had a secret admirer or affair with someone ?

Come to think of it, Here in Nigeria, to enjoy such unlimited network service for a month, it will cost u nothing less than #10k. An avg Nigerian can't boast of making 10k in day, whereas over there, £100 is just a daily income which can sort the network service bill for a month. That's the difference.

Absolutely any Canadians not considering TFSA and RRSP is at a disadvantage. I don't understand what you mean about CPP and OAS maxing out. When I make CPP contribution every year, at 65, I expect my pension from CPP based on my contributions over the years. What may happen is that the age to start collecting may increase and premium may increase at that time. You don't expect people to contribute for 35+ years and tell them the program no longer exist.

It is common finding people retiring where the cost of living is lower same way you find someone moving to the village when they retire.

The plan we have is based on a younger workforce contributing to the old age plan. You and I are paying for those who are retiring now. The value of the dollar with inflation must be considered . We are only having 1 child . This will not support those that will retire in maybe 20 years. So we need to get younger workforce( hence immigration relaxing rules ) to keep this going . Remember it’s not a one time thing it’s yearly and with advances in medical sciences people are living longer. The longer you work . The more money you contribute. So it’s a continuous circle . I am not saying money won’t be there in maybe next 20 years but don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify.

I mean companies don’t even contribute to it. I worked for a company 10 years no pension. The other company I worked for 6 years had a VRSP. They tell you the benefits of saving but did not contribute to any pension plan.
The last company I work for match your contribution to the plan. So free money
What am I saying - you have to save for the raining day and for old age. You also have to make sure you don’t outlive your nest egg . You can’t just leave it to government.
The best plan is that you invest in real estate so that at a certain age you can do reverse mortgage and use the equity in your house. The money is then paid back on your demise or when the house is sold.
Again - you have to save and plan to save

Companies no longer find pension plans. Only a specific sector still gives pensions plans
- government jobs
- teachers
- maybe grocery stores.
- some businesses.
They would rather pay you more than offer pension plans as it is too expensive to maintain.

I disagree . That is why the government has programs to encourage people to save. TFSA. And RRSP . The amount of OAS, CPP, QPP is usually not adequate . Remember you are still tax on the payout amount as it is taxed deferred.
And there is a risk that those plans will max out in a particular year so we need to get more people working ( hence the flexible immigration rules ) so that there is even a payout when one reaches those years.
It is also a reason why someone would like to retire elsewhere the cost of living is cheaper.
People take out perm and term insurance just to make sure that they have adequate funds to maintain a certain lifestyle when retired.
So yes I disagree . Any average Canadian not considering any of these programs is at a disadvantage.

There is something called Credit . Most Nigerians are heavily In debt and just servicing their line of credits. Paying the barest minimum.

These things u listed are no fault of the boy & the blame should not be shifted to the poor boy. He is not responsible for his mom having him early, him keeping his earnings at this age is very excusable. Pushing that boy out at this stage is very unfair. He deserve to be happy like every other kid his age in school out there.

At 14 kids where I am start babysitting to earn little change.
At 16 they start working at fast food restaurant.
At 18 the boy can join the army and legally kill someone
At 18 he can vote
At 21 he can drink alcohol
The govt considers a person at 18 no longer a child and parents will start telling their kids to leave their nest . It’s when they are off to college .
What I am trying to say is that he is making money , he should start showing maturity.
He has not given the whole reason why the mother would ask him to leave the house.
