PoliticsRe: UK Boosts Nigeria's Infrastructure Development With £90B Fund by RickyRoss1(m): 10:13am On Sep 15, 2011
It is Britain that rather needs serious financial help. Everyone I know in England is in serious debts. The country itself is in economic and financial crisis. All the Big British cars has been sold to foreigners, Range Rover is owned by Indians and the sad news there is endless.

These British people I hate them with passion, they are one of the reasons why Nigeria is phucked today. They are part of our problems, we dont need British money, they rather invest their silly money back to their economy,

These smelly donkeys came to Nigeria without visas and without any invitation, they took my forefathers by force, raped our mothers, ruined our economy and culture, As if thats not enough, they used my people as laborers, sent them to several overseas countries against their wish and even call us apes and monkeys. Till date they are not done. They still dictate what happens in Nigeria, they still have a say in who wins elections and how our economy is managed together with our retarded leaders.

These fooooools can mess with our leaders all they want, but their citizens cant mess with smart Nigerians like me. I am happy with the way things are going in UK today, they are almost a second world country at the moment, i pray they continue to dwindle and their citizens suffer the same way they have made us suffer for decades.

The problem is not just sacking these bigots, the problem is who are they going to bring to replace dem bad eggs? Na 9ja we dey, these new people will still pay millions in bribes to get employment, so when they are finally in the office they start from where the old people stopped.
PoliticsRe: Electricity Tariff To Rise By Over 50%? by RickyRoss1(m): 5:48am On Sep 14, 2011
Nigeria needs urgent cleansing. Lets be honest with ourselves, even though NEPA is phucked up, but truth remains most Nigerians don't pay light bills, even so many large companies and rich politicians don't pay. I would rather see us pay more electricity tariff and have steady light,

In my village in Imo State, we do not pay electricity tariff since many years now, the village boys keeps fighting the NEPA boys each time they show up to collect nepa bill. Our boys claim the money we used to pay do not even reach NEPA management as some few officers will just pocket the money and give their own receipts. We need total deregulation to make things work,
PoliticsRe: Silly Reasons Why Some Voted Gej by RickyRoss1(m): 5:32am On Sep 14, 2011
These Taliban fools on NL will not stop to amaze me, How did you know the reasons why people voted for GEJ? Do u read peoples mind? And by the way, why is that your problem that for the first time someone from South South is ruling Nigeriahuh Is it your problem if i voted for GEJ simply bc I have faith in him? Why didnt you present a better candidate? Aint you fools tired of rooting for a sore looser in Buharihuh

During the last election in Ghana, a close friend said he didnt vote for Nana Akuffo Addo simpy bc Nana Akuffo Addo is too short, according to this guy short men have high temper issues? So my question is, even if everyone voted for GEJ simply bc he is too short or too tall or for whatever reasons, how is that supposed to be your problem or are you hiding something from ushuh?  Come out of the closet and tell us ur true intentions,

TO ALL YOU HATERS & SUCKERS, THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING, A MUSLIM AND AN EWUSA WILL NEVER EVER RULE NIGERIA AGAIN, BC THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY IS NOT YOUR BIRTH RIGHT. U ANIMALS INVENTED BOKO HARAM TO KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE WITHOUT KNOWING IT WILL BACKFIRE. BC OF BH NONE OF YOU WILL GET CLOSE TO RULING NIGERIA AGAIN. U HAVE RULED FOR FAR TOO LONG AND WE ALL FIND OURSELVES IN THIS SITUATION. HOW DO U EXPECT GEJ TO CORRECT UR ILLS WITHIN THIS SHORT PERIOD OF TIMEhuh?

U CAN MAKE AS MANY ANTI GEJ POSTS AS U LIKE, BUT IT WONT CHANGE ANYTHING. HE WILL REMAIN UR PRESIDENT TILL THE NEXT 4 YRS, SO IF U DONT LIKE IT PLS RELOCATE TO MALI OR CHAD, WE WILL NEVER MISS YOU,

Glo Mobile to quit Ghana?  Mon, 24 May 2010

Major telecommunications operator, Glo Mobile, intends to pull out of Ghana, an authoritative source close to the company has disclosed.

The Daily Graphic gathered over the weekend that the telecommunications giant had decided to divest its investment in the country and exit Ghana as it faced several challenges from some interests bent on sabotaging the company's nation-wide take-off plan.

A source close to the company disclosed that some of the challenges the company had faced since it was awarded a GSM licence by the National Communications Authority (NCA) included an encroachment on the frequency allocated to it by the NCA, the repeated sabotage of its billboards and the delay in securing approval for the swift deployment of its infrastructure, such as base stations.

It said officials of the company were concerned that while the company had been working at a frenetic pace to formally roll out the network, some forces had been deliberately working around the clock to cripple its operation and prevent it from rolling out quickly, to the detriment of the Ghanaian society.

Another source close to the company said the operator's management felt that its infrastructure in the country was not getting adequate protection from the law enforcement agencies.

Efforts to get the official reaction from the company to the development proved abortive, but it was gathered that the company would soon serve the government with its notice to quit.

The source, which was privy to the outcome of a recent meeting held by senior management staff of the company on the issues, said Glo was displeased with the various acts of vandalism and would be relieved if the law enforcement agencies apprehended the perpetrators and exposed them.

When contacted, a senior official of Glo Mobile Ghana, Mr Derek Obuobi, said he would not comment on the matter now.

Glo Mobile Ghana recently embarked on a massive deployment of outdoor advertising structures, comprising billboards, light boxes, lamp post signs and brand marks (branded lit globes), throughout Accra as part of the build-up towards the nation-wide launch of its operations in Ghana.

However, immediately after the deployment of the outdoor advertising materials, which generated a lot of positive remarks, a number of the structures were vandalised by unknown persons.

In February, about 15 light boxes mounted from the Airport Traffic Light median to the Opeibea House Traffic Light were destroyed with the flexi materials used on both sides of the units torn. One of the Glo brand marks mounted in Accra was also destroyed.

About two weeks ago, about 16 light boxes installed by Glo from the King Tackie Tawiah Overpass to Busy Internet were also vandalised.

"Every single unit, with materials made from top grade flexi was defaced with a sharp object, suspected to be a knife or a razor blade," the source said.

"It was curious that light boxes belonging to another telecom operator deployed within the same stretch continuing from Busy Internet to the Kwame Nkrumah Circle were left unscathed," it said.

In December last year, some people were apprehended and handed to the police while they were attempting to sabotage a Glo mast located at the Baatsona area of Accra.

“It is clear that these acts of lawlessness are being perpetrated to frustrate Glo's roll-out plans," the source said.

Another major area of concern for Glo is the ban on the erection of telecom masts by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The development is said to have affected Glo the most, it being the only network building a nationwide telecoms company from scratch.

"Glo is losing the opportunity to make revenue, for every day there is a delay in launching its network. I believe that is why it is worried," the source said.

Since Glo was granted a licence to operate in Ghana, it has invested huge resources to deploy a nationwide state-of-the-art infrastructure. It has also devoted millions of dollars to the sponsorship of the Ghana Premier League., the national football teams, and the Ghana National Supporters Union.

An investment expert who preferred anonymity said it would be a major setback to the efforts of the government to attract foreign direct investment, generate employment and stimulate economic growth should Glo pull out of Ghana. He urged the government to intervene on the issue.

At the recent presentation of cheques by Glo to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the impressive performance of the Black Stars at the last edition of the African Cup of Nations, the Minister of Communications gave the assurance that the government would give Glo all the support it required to enable it to roll out its services.

STOP SABOTAGING GLO PRESIDENT MILLS WARNS ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNICATION MINISTRY. Mon, 08 Nov 2010

http://www.modernghana.com/news/303611/1/stop-sabotaging-glo-president-mills-warns-environm.html

President John Evans Atta Mills has given a strong warning to the

Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Sherry Aryittey, and

Communication Minister Haruna Iddrisu to ensure that Nigerian

telecommunications giant Globacom begins full operations in Ghana

before the end of 2010.
The President warns the Environment and Communications Ministry to

remove all bottlenecks preventing Globacom from starting full

operations.
According to hard information available to Modernghana.com indicates

that, West African mobile giant GLOBACOM has threatened to withdraw

its operations in Ghana if some operative within the government

continue to sabotage them.
Investigation conducted by Modernghana.com has it that, Ministry of

Environment, Science and Technology and Ministry of Communication and

Management of MTN are the brain behind of this sabotage because

Globacom will make impact in the country if they allow them to operate

fully, especially with it undersea cable.
Glo was issued a license in 2008 and had initially scheduled to launch

GSM and WCDMA networks by end-2009.
Management of Globacom claims that its infrastructure has been

sabotaged, frequencies have been interfered with and its advertising

billboards vandalized and also suffered from a ban on the erection of

new mobile masts.
Ghana has five mobile operators: Zain, Vodafone, MTN, Millicom (tiGo)

and Kasapa.
The cable was expected to go live in 2009 with planned landing points

in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Mauritania, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and

UK, but this cable is also yet to be operational.

Lets call a spade a spade. Glo faced alot of challenges in Ghana that at some pointed it wanted to pull outta Ghana, but the Ghana government has given Glo everything it needed to start full operations, so i dont really understand what the phuck Glo is waiting for. Most Nigerians in Ghana have been waiting for Glo to start operations so they can switch from MTN to Glo. I personally know many Nigerians and Ghanians that vowed never to use MTN again once Glo starts operations, but thats like two years agohuh Each time i go to Ghana i keep asking people if Glo have started operations and the answer is always NO, and no one knows what is holding Glo?

Ghanians are wicked, they sabotaged glo equipment several times, but all those has stop now? Its on record that no single Nigerian company in Ghana has phucked up b4, we are always among the best. So I dont want Glo to be a failure at all, i want to see Glo succeed in Ghana. If they feel they cant handle MTN and Vodaphone in Ghana then its better they pull out of Ghana and on time for that matter to avoid disgrace,

I AM NOT JUDGING GLO OR GHANA GOVERNMENT, I WILL JUST POST SOME LINKS FOR YOU GUYS TO READ AND MAKE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT,

Even self, okigwe market is still a local market and hasn't been renovated to an international market existing. Rochas sorry to say this but IKEDIM OHAKIM is better than u and much more preferable to the people of imo.
You are a complete fool, I am from Ikeduru LGA, event though I reside overseas but I can confirm most of the things listed are true and correct. I am in my village since last two weeks, and i am writing this from Hotel Plaza, PH Road, Owerri. Over 80% of Imolites voted for Rochas, Ohakim is a 419 scammer, he lived in Abidjan for many years b4 he ventured into politics. Much of Imolites hate Ohakim with passion bc he is a greedy fool. What Rochas haas achieved under 100 days Ohakim did not achieve it in 4 wasted years.

When Mbakwe was the governor of old Imo State our state was the fastest growing state in Africa. He build factory in every LGA in Imo state, in my town there is Aluminum Extrusion Industry, and every other LGA in IMO state has one factory or another, i can go on and on. Rochas plan to surpass Mbakwe. BUT I will not blow the trumpet bc its too early. I will start to judge Rochas after two years. I have faith in him to deliver.

FamilyRe: Marriage: Is It Worth It? by RickyRoss1(m): 8:14pm On Sep 09, 2011
Yes marriage is worth it for so many reasons. Which man is happy to spend the rest of his life being singlehuh??

In as much as I wanted to phuck as many women as possible, do whatever i wanted and go wherever i like, i realized i cannot continue like that and I really needed children as well.

Today i am happily married with beautiful children. Why did i get married? I got married because i wanted to have children, and i needed that special person in my life to compliment me, and help me to grow in all areas of my life.

Getting married to someone from another family or village or tribe isnt easy. At that time there were many girls to choose from, but i let God choose for me and today i dont regret it. If you marry an intelligent, smart, hard working girl that puts God first in everything she does then you will be very fine. But if you marry a nagging biatch you will regret ever getting married. So you must tread softly and allow God choose for you.

Monopoly. Have you ever heard of the term monopoly, this is not to say, that is entirely a bad thing, but when NITEL (first national carrier) and GLO (second national carrier) are placed in one individual hands, what now is the reason for calling it national carrier?
Yes NITEL has become a liability, but for the sake of Nigerians, make NCC stronger otherwise, i can beg that within 2 years of operation, we would be paying the highest telecoms bill in the continent (check out Cement prices under the national carrier - Dangote)
Thats total nonsense. I know FG is trying too hard to justify their choice but hey Glo is a proudly Nigerian company. Besides, I prefer to be exploited by a Nigerian company that allow these useless whites exploit me in my own country. Every money Glo makes remains in Nigeria and most of their staff are Nigerians. Dont ever compare our telecoms sector with Cement production because there's no competition in cement production. Dangote can wake up today and decides to sell cement at 3,000 naira and we cant do much about it. But if Glo or any other telecom companies tries it then they are finished bc we have more than 5 companies to choose from,

Glo is a company every Nigerian must be proud of. Without Glo MTN will still be charging 150 naira per minute for international calls. Glo offers the cheapest international call rates in Nigeria today, i call my people overseas at 9naira per minute and the service/call quality if better than MTN,

We must allow our own to grow. I would like to see Glo and other Nigerian companies compete with other Multinational companies worldwide. Nigeria must not export 419 alone, lets  export our banks/insurance and telecom companies. I wish Glo all the best,

It will take Ghana about 10 years to earn that amount yet they live better than Nigerians.
People like you go all over the internet spreading lies and deceithuh First of all tell us how it will take Ghana 10 years to earn about 20 billion dollars? What was Ghana's income for last year and what is the projected income from oil exports/tourism/gold/cocoa etc for this present year? How do Ghanians live better than Nigerians when 60% of Ghanians shit open air bc they are too poor to build toilets, 60% are illiterates etchuh In my tribe it is the responsibility of parents to train their children up to at least secondary school. But in Ghana its a different story. A great percentage of boys/girls in Accra cant speak even pidgin English bc their parents are too poor to send them to school. I am yet to see any Nigerian that cant speak common pidgin English. Even my 98 years old grand mother speaks and understands English to some extent. In Ghana you can phuckkk any girl as long as you can buy her kenke which costs less than 50 Naira. POVERTY is the main reason why Ghanaian women are too cheap.

I know Nigeria is poor but its stupid to compare Nigeria with Ghana, Ghana cannot match Nigeria in anything except corruption. Nigerians invented 419 scam but Ghanians have taken over and the sad thing they use juju charms which is why they mostly die young. Just spend 5 minutes of your time and google the word "SAKAWA" which means BLOOD MONEY in Ghana,

It is people like you who go all over Nigeria claiming Ghana has steady light etc when Ghanians live in darkness just like in Nigeria. Every rich man i know in Ghana owns generators, those who doesn't have simply cant afford it. There is hardly any day the light doesn't go on and off in Ghana just like Nigeria. I dont hate Ghanians, i only hate liers or people who say what they dont know. This is coming from someone who knows Ghana VERY well, have businesses in Ghana, have traveled all over Ghana, married to a Ghanaian and my first son was born there.

I would want you to tell us in simply terms how Ghanaians live better than Nigerians. When Malaysia became rich they started building sky scrappers, they built the PETRONAS TOWERS in KL which was the worlds tallest building for so many years. When you enter Malaysia you will see massive development everywhere. If Ghana is rich as you are trying to make us believe, how come there is not even a 10 story building in the entire Ghana, all the biggest estates and most expensive homes belong to Nigerians? How come Ghana has only one airport, one seaport etc when a single state in Nigeria like Rivers State with only 4 million population has one international airport, one local airport, two seaports, two refineries, the Rivers State secretariat is about 17 story etc. PLS TELL US WHERE CAN WE SEE THE WEALTH OF GHANA? Most roads in Ghana are in bad shape and filled with pot holes,

If you dont already know, Ghana is the second largest producer of cocoa in the world, producing over 20% of the world’s cocoa beans. Ghana is also the second largest producer of gold (its former name was Gold Coast) and has huge deposits of industrial diamonds and bauxite (aluminum). Ghana, after 54 years of independence, still has about 4,000 basic schools organized under trees, 5,000 in dilapidated structures, and 7,500 without
sanitary facilities,

In reality its only the U.S.A. and "smaller" nations like demark, france and iceland that are going green. The rest of the world are still building coal power plants. Russia, China, India, Brazil, mexico, South africa etc are still building coal power plants. As a matter of fact 77% of South Africa's energy needs are directly derived from coal and they are still constructing more coal power plants as we speak.

Another fun fact is that south africa's largest power station, the Kendal (Coal) Power Station [4,110MW], Produces more electricity than the entire nation grid of Nigeria [3,600 peak].

Nigeria, Like the rest of the world need cheap energy. Why spend double, triple or even quadruple the price when you can get the same electricity cheap from coal.

Ghanaians and their low mentality againhuh What has a personal issue between two movie stars got to do with the entire nation of Ghanahuh
Last year or so Ghanaian movie producers banned Nigerians from shooting films in Ghana. They reversed that stupid sh, it when Nigerians retaliated and demanded Ghanaians to pay $2,500 before they can get license to shoot movie in Nigeria. At the end of the day Nigeria won, bc our movie producers were forced to shoot movies in Nigeria thereby patronizing Nigerian hotels etc,

Since 2 years ago or more Ghanaian government closed down thousands of Nigerian shops in Ghana claiming they are protecting their local economy, but in the other way round Ghanains are free to own shops in Nigeria?

I am not a fan of this Tonto Dike bc of the way she expose her body, anyway shes a star and can even go nude if she so desire so thats not my problem. But for Ghanians to always show their hatred in against Nigerians needs urgent attention. For Gods sake we claim these people are our brothers but in reality they HATE us with passion. From politicians to market women and taxi drivers. Whites and other nationals are free to commit crimes in Ghana without problems, but when any single Nigerian is involved it automatically becomes a national issue and these bloated apes will start calling all Nigerians to be deported. Most Nigerians dont even know it was Ghanaians that started deporting millions of Nigerians before Nigeria retaliated 20 years later during the Ghana Must Go Era.

I have said many times we Nigerians must face our problems in Nigeria and STOP helping other Africans bc they dont ever appreciate us. They prefer to lick white peoples assses than identify with their own. Here in Nigeria we treat Ghanaians, Cameroonians and other Africans with curtsey and respect, but what do we get in returnhuh Nigeria spent millions of dollars during Liberia/Sierra Leone war but go to Liberia today they hate us more than any other country. What about South Africa, Namibia and the resthuh I am considering entering politics soon to make sure we dont give any kind of assistance to any African country. Any Nigerian who have businesses within Africa will understand where I am coming from. About 3 years ago i was in Senegal with some people, i was shocked when Senegalese immigration/custom officers singled me out bc i was holding a Nigerian passport. they first told me WE HATE NIGERIANS before they started drilling me, how much dollars/pounds do you have?? They took me to a dark room at the airport and made sure they searched me very well. Can Ghanaians tell me why they must involve in this issue between two movie starshuh Why the 9ja obsessionhuh??

For the avoidance of vacillation or vacuous rhetoric, I enthusiastically concur with the fundamental parametric locus standii established by the Honorable Grammar Meister Patrick Obahiagbon, with respect to the modus operandii deployed by disgruntled, snivelling career prognosticators of doom, as they seek philosophical footing and transcendent relevance amid shifting sands intermittently reconstituted by ephemeral rip-tides of political compartmentalization.

Truth be told, dispassionate international observers still reminisce in bouts of wistful nostalgia about the Golden Era of Enlightened Discourse and Linguistic Multidimensionality, when fabled Grammar Meister Obahiagbon held the rapt floor spellbound as he regaled august gatherings with unrelenting bombardments of sanctimonious invective, pseudo-argumentative jousting, irreverent yet insightful banter and tautological extrapolation ad-nauseum ad-infinitum, nihil incarborendum illegitimii.

The bland, subdued, understated, uneventful, stupefyingly laborious, tedious, ponderous and unmitigatingly morose tone of all Nigerian House of Assembly gatherings convened during the dark, neuvo-nihilistic, Bohemian Post-Obahiagbon Era, have established in a fundamental, unequivocal, irrefutable and incontrovertible manner, that an individual of grandiloquent bearing, caliber, fortitude and constitution did once hold forth in those hallowed halls, and shall thus be remembered by appreciative chroniclers of the human condition in both its panoramic complexity and its parabolic trajectory.
Hmmm, abeg take am easy ooooooooooooooooo. Make u no kill person with laff, I hope u r good at other things, other than speaking BIG grammarhuh

Jason2010,

I am writing from the US and it is very very very sad that people like you and your friend always want to make Nigeria out to be the worst place on earth.  He vowed never to return to Nigeria again because of that and you said he is from Chicago.

What a laugh, people ask him what Chicago is known for here in the States besides the whom of the Bulls as well as  Oprah and Obama. How many drive bys take place in Chicago every day, how many innocent Nigerians have been killed in the streets of Chicago in the past couple of years.  How often do fights and gunshots go off in the day and at nights at clubs here.  wether you will have a million police and the club short down how often are these so called shootings and killings solved.

I can go on and on, remember Tupac and Biggie, those cases are still not solved, here in Atlanta, a few club killings are still unsolved.  So could these fools stop with the disrespect already.  I am proud to be a Nigerian no matter what.

While it is unfortunate that these types of things are happening in Nigeria does not any way diminish the fact that it is still a good place.
East or West Home is best.
God blees you. Do you know many Nigerians overseas are the ones spreading lies and rumors against our dear country. Infact I dont have the strength to talk again, but for me Nigeria is the best country on earth irrespective of the light wahala, USA is not safe, London is not safe. We have only one country which is Nigeria. These fools can go to Japan and live forever, WE WILL NEVER MISS THEM, Wise Diaspora Nigerians are returning home to either invest or take up opportunities, the foolish ones say they dont want to come back as if we are begging them, Do you know how many innocent Nigerians that have been killed in UK and USA this year alone?
