stop talking like an idiotic twerp.
i know don jazzie like the back of ma hand. he's a keyboard expert. . . . .he makes beats for solek(a juju artiste in london). then he gets peanuts from what party-goers spray solek after their shows. then there was a disagreement between solek and don jazzie. . . . .and solek fired him. don jazzie was jobless. feeding on scraps and crumbles and the uk tax credit system became his manna. . . .

they made quite a lot from the fraud and they went straight to nigeria to invest it in the music industry - a nice move i must add.
the reason they were so successful was they were independent from the word go. . . . .unlike 2face that first started under kennis music and was sucked to his marrow before he became independent. d'banj/don jazzie did not pay a single dime of their income to any record label or music producer. they ate everything they made.
Fools like you who think they know too much dont know anything in reality.
From talking plenty you just exposed your ignorance and you just told the whole world that Don Jazzy and D-Banj are fraudstershuh If you are not part of the gang how did u know all these things? Abeg tell them to give u your own cut so u can close ur ugly dirty mouth (if possible)

don jazzie was a promoter. . . .solek's promoter. . . . .
made money through uk's tax system, cojoined with d-banj and went to nigeria to launder their loot.
up until 2005, don jazzie was a one-room tenant.

don jazzie owns mansions in the uk?
all his ancestors put together plus d'banj's ancestors cannot afford a mansion in the uk.
mo-hits is worth just £3 million, abdul mutallab's flat is £2 million. . . .use your common sense to figure out what a mansion cost in the united kingdom.
Oh Shit i thought you knew Jazzy wellhuh Needless to waste my time. Jazzy is rich i mean very rich in African standards though, Ask people why he is called DON>>> He has diversified enterprises, Mo Hits is just one of his companies. He makes money through many avenues. Now that he is popular there are many things he cant do, Go figure

Yeah right. Who will starve first if Dbanj stops singing? Me thinks Ndigbo would starve. Was it Don Jazzy and his ugly Igbo voice that collaborated with Snoop? Was it Don Jazzy and his ugly Ndigbo face and shapeless Ndigbo body that appeared on the same stage with Kanye in London? Was it DOn Jazzy and his ugly igbotic hand and illiterate igbo brain that signed a contract with G.O.O.D music label? I can go on and on, but I will stop here.

Don Jazzy is already a Multi Millionaire, he owns mansions all over the UK before he ventured into Music. Ask your brothers in England who Don Jazzy is. Don Jazzy will remain a multi millionaire with or without dbanj. If you dont know, it was Don Jazzy who initiated and paid Snoop. Remember not so long ago Glo sacked dbanj bc of his dumb ugly yoyoba face.

Talking about illiteracy, we all know an Igbo school drop is by far wiser and smarter than a yoyoba degree holder. In one village in Osun state there are about 5 professors but they have nothing to show other than fail students who refuse to settle them during examinations. But come to Igbo cities like Nnewi you will see intelligent Igbo school drop outs who are manufacturing simple things that yoyoba professors can only dream of.

The Igbos have successfully built cars in Nigeria (Google Innosson Vehicle Manufacturing Company and Izuogu Motors), tell us what your very fat, very dumb, very ugly and extremely DIRTY yoyoba professors have invented in Nigeria? All you know is buy/forge certificates to look good on the outside and nothing to show inside,

I love foreign music to some extent especially Rap/Hip Hop. My favorite artistes are Rick Ross, Lil Wayne etc. But these days Nigerian musicians are really trying so i prefer my Nigerian songs any day, anytime.

Go to any club all over Africa, each time there is Nigerian song the crowd usually go wild. It seems we dont appreciate what we have in Nigeria. We have the best/biggest musicians in Africa today, from Tu Face to Psquare, Dbanj and the rest.

However, there is nothing wrong with musician doing collabo with foreign acts and theres nothing wrong if you choose not to do. Psqure is still bigger and better than Dbang, Also, Dbanj is nobody without Don Jazzy, Don Jazzy has all the money, all the contacts and connections.

AgricultureDangote Group To Invest N900bn In Agriculture by RickyRoss1(op): 8:40am On Sep 01, 2011
The Punch: Tuesday, August 30, 2011: http://www.odili.net/news/source/2011/aug/30/814.html

A statement by the company on Monday said that the fund would be used to develop and improve the agricultural sector of the economy.

According to the statement, signed by the Group Head, Corporate Communications, Dangote Group, Mr. Tony Chiejina, this group's new focus is as a result of the previous seeming neglect of the development of the agricultural sector over the years.

The statement cited the President, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, as disclosing the planned investment at a meeting between the Federal Government and the Organised Private Sector last week.

To this end, the statement added, the group was named the highest private sector investor in Nigeria by the Federal Government, with an investment portfolio running into billions of dollars.

The Minister of Trade and Investment, Mr. Olusegun Aganga, recently said the Federal Government would, as a matter of necessity, put in place a platform to recognise the contributions of entrepreneurs like Dangote in the country.

He added that there was the need to encourage such entrepreneurs to do more so that other businessmen would be motivated to invest in the development of the nation's economy.

"I must say that much has been achieved by Dangote Cement in an attempt to meet local demands, and the government would like to replicate these exploits in the production of rice, sugar and wheat," Aganga had stated.

Speaking on a recent survey conducted by the ministry on some local companies, Aganga said that the result of the survey showed that the local companies would invest N1.52tn in the Nigerian economy within the next 12 months.

The investments, he said, would come from the non-oil sector of the economy alone.

According to the survey, manufacturing, real estate, agro-allied and automotive sectors would make N1.06tn; N198.5bn; N67.8bn and N45bn investments, respectively, while tourism, trade and commerce, transport and others will make up the rest.

Aganga, who commended Nigerian investors for their confidence in the economy, added that the Federal Government was committed to providing a conducive environment to enable the private sector to play a pivotal role in the transformation of the country's economy.

According to Nigeria's Vision 2020 document, Nigeria needs to invest N34tn in growth areas in the next four years. Of this, the Federal Government should account for N10tn; state governments, N9tn; and private sector, both local and international, N15tn.

The statement said that the overall macroeconomic target for the medium term was for Nigeria to achieve a target Gross Domestic Product of N50tn ($333bn) by 2013, as well as growth in GDP per capita from $1,075 in 2009 to $2,008.75 by 2013.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
So you still fall for that 'we use Generators so we charge higher' bullcrap line?
Nonsense! The sheer volume of Nigerian customers easily offsets the added cost of running on generators. Plus, it doesn't cost any extra fuel in the generator to power up the 3G radios on the existing masts. Are you still gonna rely on the 'generators' excuse to explain why our 3G internet data plans are probably the biggest rip-off in Africa?

For the last time, the NCC really has little or no impact on the price of phones in Nigeria. Giving the NCC credit for the cheap Nokia and china phones flooding the country is a bit brainless, don't you think?

Under Mr ndukwe, the carriers got away with blue murder in terms of call rates, quality of service, reliability and internet bundles. As long as you blind yourself with tribal goggles, you will never see the true state of things.
You talk like a fool, I didnt tell you to praise NCC for the cheap china phones flooding Nigeria and other developing countries. And I didnt say Alex Ndukwe is a saint, all am saying is that I praise people who are praise worthy. If you know any government official from your own tribe or race that has done better than Alex Ndukwe please tell ushuh Till date OBJ still remains Nigeria's best president and i have dozens of facts to back up my claim, now i am not a yoruba man, If praising someone who has done wonderfully well in Nigeria will qualify me as a tribalist then thats your own headache and you can as well hug a bleeping transformer.

Since you need some lectures let me break it down for you. Before Alex Ndukwe became NCC chairman, statistics showed that Nigeria with a population of about 120 million then relied on about 450,000 telephone lines which included landlines and cellular for communications. According to statistical records, the level of investment in the telecoms sector then was about $50m.

But the story is absolutely different today. With over 90 million lines, and still growing, industry players concede that the level of investments in the telecoms sector now runs into several billions of dollars. It is also on record that Nigeria has the second fastest growing telecom sector in the world for so many years now,

Before Alex Ndukwe came into the picture mobile phones are for the rich only and it used to cost a fortune to make local/international calls but we all know the story is different today. Today international calls are as low as 10 naira per minute for Glo, Visaphone etc,

Now am not stupid, I believe with over 150 million people, there is huge potential for more growth in the sector so as to take service to the unconnected, particularly in the rural areas. Call quality needs to improve as well. My dear if you must criticize try to be constructive. I believe in constructive criticism,

Christianity EtcRe: When Last Did You Pray For Nigeria? by RickyRoss1(m): 6:58am On Aug 26, 2011
Praying for Nigeria is one thing and being honest with ourselves is another.
Most Nigerians are too religious, you pray and fast this minute, the next minute you are already doing one bad thing or another.

The rich/western countries dont have time for God but their economies are very sound and their citizens are very reliable and trustworthy. But here in Nigeria we use the name of God to steal. So many people go to church these days to kidnap and steal even mobile phones.

Dont get me wrong i believe in the power of prayer and I do pray for Nigeria, but we all need to change our ways to move this country forward. If you like let the whole nation go into fasting and prayer nothing will happen till we REPENT COMPLETELY.

People like you are part of the reason why Nigeria is so backward, with your effusive praise for even mediocre accomplishment.

Even the poorest Indians can afford cheap cellphones. The cost of cellphones is not at all regulated by the NCC. Why did you not comment on the relatively high charges for making calls on these phone in Nigeria, compared to many other African countries?

Mobile internet in Nigeria costs almost double the cost in several other African countries. Call quality is abysmal on very many occasions, with MTN, Glo and Airtel adding more subscribers than their infrastructure can handle with ease. nigerians complain about poor call quality, arbitrary carrier charges (and promo fraud) among many other examples of shoddy service.

Abeg flee from sycophancy and Bottom kissing.
Alex Ndukwe did wonderfully well than any other. I praise people that are praise worthy, period.
So far we've had so many incompetent presidents and none of them is able to fix our electricity problem, if an Hausa man becomes the president tomorrow and solve all our electricity problems i will praise him without being biased,

People like you who think they know too much dont know nothing, You are quick to state phones are cheap in India without giving us reasons why phones are cheap over there? India manufactures phones and telecom equipments, the same cannot be said about Nigeria.

Call rate in India is the cheapest in the world and we know the reasons, In India Bharti Airtel and the rest source all their equipments and labor locally. Most phones used in India are manufactured in India and that's an added advantage, In Nigeria MTN and the other networks use generators to power their base stations, all the equipments they use are imported mostly from Asia and this is one of the reasons call rate is high in Nigeria. Not trying to defend these greedy telecom companies, but let the truth be told,

Wellmax, I really enjoyed reading your post.  Especially the part where you listed our names perfectly, from Monday to Sunday.   Very interesting.   By the way, we also have our given names attached to those names. You may not hear them but they are there. For example, my daughter's name is "Ama Yebowaa"  Ama being the female version of "Kwame" because she was born on Saturday, and "Yebowaa" -  the female version of "Yeboah". Had she been a boy she would have been called "Kwame Yeboah". So you see, we also have other names attached to those names. They are never given alone.  Just a little bit of education.

I also have a question, why is every rich man in Naija called chief or Oga?
No my dear every rich man in Nigeria is not called chief or oga, thats just one of those stupid generalizations,
As an African i believe you should know what Chieftaincy title means?
Anyway in Nigeria we dont call people by their names like you do in Ghana. Here we show some love/respect. Instead of saying Dominic, I can say brother Dominic or Oga Dominic, that doesnt mean the Dominic in question is rich or poor. It simply means he is older than me, period,

Ghanaians are not cultured. In the morning you see even kids looking at you like fools, they cant even greet. In Nigeria when you see someone who is older than you you say hello or good morning.

Where are the major policy pronouncements from Ministers from major Ministries like Education, Works, Health, Agriculture?
The Architect in charge of works ministry just dey talk talk.
Even though truth hurts but let the truth be told. We are not bringing any tribe down but we all know the best performing ministers/government officials during Obasanjos regime were all Igbos, Soludo-CBN, NCC Chairman with his revolution in the telecom sector, Dora Nafdac, Ngozi and the rest of them,

Now same thing is happening. Igbos are being drafted into the heartbeat of our economy to fix, my question is this. Why cant we elect an Igbo man to fix this country entirelyhuhhuh?

Alex Ndukwe has done wonderfully well in the telecoms sector. Today the poorest Nigerian citizen can afford cell phones courtesy of an Igboman. If you put an incompetent fool there he will just mess up bc he is clueless.

We all know what Soludo did to our banking/insurance sector. Before he was elected no Nigerian bank was among the top 1,000 in the world, but today we know our banks are among the biggest in Africa and occupy good positions in the world rankings, In every African country i visit today i see more than 5 Nigerian banks.

Before OBJ came to power, Nigeria was only exporting 419, but today we export our banks/insurance companies. Our telecom companies are big enough to expand to other African countries. I still think OBJ is the best president we've ever had. I am not a politician and i am not from Yoruba, but i say the truth when i see it. If you know any better president than OBJ just name it.

Ricky_Ross, do i take it that you are just distorting the truth or that u want to create mischief??,  Do you genuinely believe yourself that the average ghanaian is more worried about nigeria than about his daily bread. Do you mean to tell me that upon all the numerous issues in ghana, we take delight trash-talking nigeria even to the extent that peace fm will spend valuable airtime talking about nigeria?
Dont tickle yourself my friend, the average ghanaian worries about inflation, the economy, education, jobs, etc, and peace fm doesnt do what you say. If you hear any radio station talking about 9ja, it means 9ja has made news, sometimes for good or bad reasons. OR somebody is trying to use an experience of 9ja to caution the authorities in ghana to take note and make sure same doesnt happen here(eg boko haram attacks) Ghanaians are not as silly as u r trying to make us look. I am quite sorry for your experience of ghana that has made you form such judgments but you cannot pollute the minds of fellow nairalanders about a whole nation just because of your experience with a couple of individuals.
tacks) Ghanaians are not as silly as u r trying to make us look. I am quite sorry for your experience of ghana that has made you form such judgments but you cannot pollute the minds of fellow nairalanders about a whole nation just because of your experience with a couple of individuals.
Truth is always bitter my friend, you are the first Ghanaian to admit there are numerous problems in Ghana. The rest see Nigerians as the only problems they have. My friend i am not stupid, I know what am talking about. I have lived in Ghana, my wife is Ghanaian and i have businesses in Ghana. Sometimes i feel that many radio stations in Ghana are paid by the government to spread lies and hatred against Nigerians. Peace FM spends most of their airtime talking about Nigerians.

Since you are trying to pretend let me ask you one honest question. Why is it that whenever there is armed robbery case in Ghana most Ghanians will start accusing Nigerians without any evidence or investigation? I was in Ghana when armed robbers attacked Ecobank in Accra and Nigerians were arrested for know reason. Even when Ghana police arrested the 7 Ghanian robbers they never set the innocent Nigerians free, each and everyone of them had to pay bribe to get freedom. The terrible things Ghanaians are doing to Nigerians in Ghana is too numerous to mention. Pls dont get me started.

Last year Ghana banned Nigerians from shooting films in Ghana even when alot of Ghanaian movie stars come to Nigeria to get huge contracts they cant get in Ghana. I am aware big Nigerian companies like Orange Drugs use some Ghanaians in their adverts.

For many years now many Nigerian owned shops in Ghana have been closed down by Ghana government claiming they are protecting small Ghanaian owned businesses but Ghanians are free to open shops in Nigeria without restrictionshuh?? Like i said before, Ghanians are not our brothers bc they hate us with passion. I am not here to spread hatred but am saying it the way it is. My wife is Fante she hates the way most Ghanaians trash talk Nigerians when we dont give a phurck about Ghana. The earlier we stop this brotherhood rubbish the better for all of us. If Ghanaians are our brothers as they want us to believe why did the silly chicken boys from Ghana make that crappy song against Nigerians?

I don't really understand where Ghana got all this hate from and not just Ghana, so many African Countries, but Ghana's own takes the cake. I visited Ghana 2yrs ago and just for me to go and sample some roadside rice and chicken only for the girl selling the stuff to tell me she does not like Nigerians.

I had so many Ghanaian friends in Lagos when i was growing up, they were older than me with like 10-15 yrs, my dad took them like younger brothers, they taught me how to eat Ghana food, taught some folk songs in Ashanti etc, it was great fun. I have never seen anyone in Lagos dissing Ghanaians or for a whole community to take 'hating' as a national pastime.

We don't have time for all that crap and its time they do something better with their lives.

when they sent Nigerians out of Ghana, there were a whole lot of them especially Ogbomoso and Ibo guys, and they were not just shoemakers and hair dressers, they had businesses and houses which were taken over by Ghanians and we did not sing a hate song all that time, but they keep crying over the retaliation.
They even call those bags 'Ghana must Go' in Ghana, that is crazy, they don't ever want to forget.
So sad but true. You need to go to Ghana to see/experience the kind of hatred these people have against Nigerians. These people are not my brothers. I know a true brother when i see one, Ghanaians dont have any problem, the only problems they have is Nigerians, Day in day out they talk about Nigerians, from market women to politicians and radio stations, Peace FM spends most of their days talking about NIgerias problems when they dont give a phuck abt Ghanaians

The N1.52tn is just the existing private sectors investment.

Hopefully, the N10tn and N9tn that the FG and states collectively chip in over the next four years should go a long way to boost new players, spread the wealth and diversify the economy.

The amounts discussed in the article do not include the staggering investments to diversify our economy from crude oil to gas (gas revolution). Already Delta has got a $16billion investment to build the biggest industrial park in Africa at Koko. $16billion is about 60% of the 2011 budget; its no small beans. Bayelsa and Lagos are also getting similar investments to varying degrees (they just haven't yet kicked off like Delta). So, its all looking good so far; lets keep praying it stays that way. Big things are coming.
Well said.

The Yorubas has been doing blood money from time immemorial. All the people you listed above learn their trade from yoyoba jujumen. I have many yoyoba friends and they are too fetish. how come every yoyoba man i know puts all their faith in juju, even their pastors and rev fathers?

The yoyobas are the first set of drug barons in nigeria. the yoyobas were the first set of nigerians to migrate to the UK where they started their drug dealing and credit card scams, the igbos and other nigerian tribes joined later in the late 90's,

To cap it all, the yoyobas are the dirtiest, ugliest, fattest tribe in Nigeria and we all know this is true, and most of you are dumber than dumb, an average yoyoba fool parades loads of certificates but in real sense they cant defend these certificates, An Igbo school drop out is smarter and more intelligent than a yoyoba degree holder and this is a fact. If you doubt me come to Nnewi the Japan of Africa, you will school Igbo school drop outs manufacturing things yoyoba professors can only dream of

@O.P:Somebody forwarded this to me actually thinking I wrote this, our stories are identical in almost every regard except what gives me pause is precisely what frees you to act in a way that some here would consider overly radical, and that is our child.I daresay though that your wife is just testing the waters to see how far she can possibly go gassed up by freinds and the media who say that all men are animals.I have stab wounds,I have fled my house covered in my own blood,I have scars on my head and body from, take a pick, plates, shoes or whatever weapon just happens to be handy to throw at me,the physical battering is not nearly as bad as the emotional one from the curses and abuses that I have received.Like you and most people here,I was raised to believe in the permanence of marriage, like most of us this monster did not rear its head until one decided to up roots and explore the British aspect of ones heritage, like you I have had to endure repeated Police incursions to the house and I laugh at those women/men who assume to retaliate in kind would end up anywhere asides from jail time, having a criminal record is not a badge of honour especially for those of us with a sense of obligation to our family name, admitting the level of abuse one suffers is also an invitation for social services to reenact the grand inquisition and try to take your kids, the UK is the broken home capital of Europe,if you love your child theres no way you want him/her to get caught up in the foster care system. It started with one foul yelled abuse and graduated to one lying in bed, broken collar bone and concussion, you dont have a kid, yet!The system has her believing shes invincible, its from the Police handcuffing you to the ground once they come in before hearing your side of the story. You will survive, you have to!and for those thinking of bringing that angel of yours to 'live the dream' in rainy England. You will live to regret it.
Whatever you do,dont go to jail over something you didnt do to fulfill some warped feminist agenda that doesnt subscribe to rhyme or reason.Stay up bro.

PetroDolla:
What Ghanaians think about Nigerians or what Nigerians think about Ghana/Ghanaians isn't going to change the fortunes of any of these countries. Ghana will be Ghana and Nigeria will be Nigeria. It is entirely my prerogative to like or not to like any particular group of people. I don't give a damn what any one thinks! Nigeria has its own problems just as Ghana, as a matter of fact I believe whatever problem Ghana has, one can find it in Nigeria multiplied a million times. Yet some of you clueless people would want to sit here and post rubbish. Yet, chances are that a Nigerian will hardly go to next door Cameroon,Benin or Niger. They are always coming to Ghana because they feel welcomed, huh? And what do we get in return? Outright scorn and insults at the least opportunity. Go to to the beginning of this particular thread and see how this whole nonsense unfolded. Some wimps simply went bersek because a story that sought to portray Ghana in good light had been posted.

Ghana deported Nigerians in the 1960s, and Nigeria followed with two mass deportations in 1983 and 1985. We are talking about TWO mass deportations by Nigeria here. Ghana needs to balance the score and I see it coming soooner than you think! Don't give a damn! All of you can go hug a bleeping transformer! Oops just forgot transformers in Nigeria often lie fallow! Damn!
You are a clown if you dont know millions of Nigerians are living in Cameroon, Niger and every other African country. I was in Kazakhstan last year for something and i was surprised to find alot of Nigerians teaching in that small country. Nigerians are scattered all over the world. Have you not heard if you go to any country and you dont find a Nigerian you should foking get out.
So you mean Nigerians should lick your a/s/s simply bc they are living & working in Ghana, What about the huge population of Ghanians that are living and working in Nigeria? Infact it is you Ghanians that should be very very very grateful to Nigerians for investing in Ghana and providing jobs for you people. I am aware Ex president Kuffour wasted millions of dollars traveling all over the world begging for Foreign Investment but yet the white men shun Ghana, it is only the Nigerians and Chinese/Indians that have the courage to invest in Ghana, so give us some credit and stop being arrogant.

You are the one that sounds very bitter about Nigerians so you should foking go hug a transformer as we dont give a hoot about you, Did any Nigerian beg you for friendship? Dont make it sound as if Nigeria needs Ghana. It is your stupid Ghana investment commission or whatever they are called that flood to Nigeria every week, begging for Nigerian investment, always promising us tax holidays, free this and that. Next time i might stone your silly government officials in Lagos or Abuja so they dont come back, pls tell your government officials to go to Europe or America and beg for foreign investment since Ghana citizens dont want Nigerian investments. Not long ago your officials were at Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing company, Nigeria promising them lots of crap so they can move to Ghana. Why didnt your government officials go to TATA Motors of India or another countryhuh

Ghana was the first country that started deporting Nigerians massively in the 1960s and Nigeria retaliated in 1983 and 1985. You dont see anything wrong with your people sending Nigerians away yet you criticize Nigeria for retaliatinghuh? You are biased just like most of your brothers and sisters, If you dont like it start sending Nigerians home immediately and we will do the same, lets see who will loose at the end of the day. I have been hearing this your empty threat since 5 years ago and till now nothing has happened. Infact it is Nigerian government that has been deporting Ghanaian criminals from Nigeria. Just last month hundreds of them were deported as well. When are you gonna retaliate or are you just a toothless bulldog? I wanna see the two elephants fight, lets see who will suffer,

Finally this is a Nigerian forum, so if you have any Ghana news, whether good or bad news please go to Ghanaweb or any other Ghanaian website. Even Ghanaweb, the only active Ghanaian forum is owned by a white guy from Amsterdam, Holland, Just so you know this forum is owned by a proud Nigerian.

@georessah thanks for your concern but those are mere stereotypes just the same way some Ghanaian friends told me not to marry Ashante girls bc they kill their husband to inherit his wealth. This is common in most African countries, every tribe claims to be better than the other. My wife is a nice woman and she understands that a woman is there to support and compliment her husband and not to compete with him,
