I am a die hard Chelsea Fan, on the National level I support my home side Heartland FC and I want them to win today.
On the continental stage i support Enyimba or any other Nigerian club,

When in Nigeria these days I dont go to the stadium anymore bc of this Boko Haram Bulllshitt, I know it has not happened yet but i suspect these crazy Hausa Muslims will start attacking any crowded area sooner than later. The earlier they share this country the better for all of us. Nigeria is becoming a laughing stock with each passing day. I have defended this country for too long. I am tired of having to defend Nigeria everywhere i go, from Ghana to Europe and the rest. Everyday Obi is a boy, WHEN WILL OBI EVER GONNA FINALLY BE A MANhuh

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Accuses PDP And AGF As Plotters Of His Trial by RickyRoss1(m): 9:04pm On Sep 22, 2011
High_Chief:
PDP, Adoke behind my trial, says Tinubu

Former Lagos State Governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu yesterday accused Attorney-General of the Federation Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for being desperate to put him on trial for alleged operation of foreign accounts while in office.

He said the Office of the AGF is desperate to manufacture evidence against him.

He also expressed regrets that the “plotters” have the sympathetic ears of the Presidency.

Tinubu spoke for the second time in 24 hours over his trial, which begins today in Abuja at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

He declared on Monday in Lagos that he could not be intimidated.

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) national leader’s position was contained in a statement in Abuja by his Media Office.

The statement said: “There is now very verifiable information that the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and some members in the leadership of the PDP, who may have found sympathetic ears in the presidency are behind the ongoing attempt to destabilise and drag in the mud the name of Nigeria’s leading opposition voice, Bola Tinubu.

“Presently, desperate moves are afoot by the office of the AGF to find by all means and to manufacture enough evidence to prove their case against Nigeria’s leading opposition voice, Asiwaju Tinubu, the National leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria. The resort to these subterranean moves is caused by their failure to get credible individuals to come forward as witnesses to prove their allegations.

“Another dimension of the desperate moves of these individuals includes the recent media leaks from the office of the AGF that the charges against Asiwaju Tinubu would be amended to include perjury so as to strengthen their so-called “iron-clad case” against the national leader of Nigeria’s leading opposition party, the ACN.

“Similar reports in some sponsored media also alluded to the fact that the government also plans to drag before the tribunal, three other ex- governors for alleged similar offences, a move aimed at deceiving the public that Tinubu, Nigeria’s leading opposition voice, is not being singled out.

“It is deceitful and clear subterfuge for government to continue to mouth the rule of law, while hounding political opponents and applying different standard of justice to members of the opposition while shielding its members from prosecution. Unfortunately, Nigeria’s democracy remains imperiled under the clutches of a ruling party that no longer wants to rule for 60 years but forever.

“For PDP and a government that claim they believe in the rule of law and with the Freedom of Information law in force, one would want to ask why they are more interested in publishing the list of accounts allegedly traced to Asiwaju Tinubu without disclosing how much was involved and other relevant details.

“The same act gives them the access for full disclosure. There is a clear plot to deceive the public into believing that Tinubu, Nigeria’s leading opposition leader stashed away millions in foreign bank accounts.”

The former queried why the Federal Government is squandering public funds on politically-motivated investigations.

The statement added: “In the absence of documentary and individual evidence, the government continues to squander public funds on frivolous and politically motivated investigations and trial against imaginary enemies. The public would like to know, after five years, how much has been expended on this case and what is the actual amount in question.

“Instead of focusing on strengthening the rule of law, they continue to expend their energies and public resources on silencing opposition voices. Most Nigerians suspect also that AGF Mohammed Adoke has failed repeatedly to give the President sound, professional and unbiased legal advice on matters that would have enhanced the rule of law.

“Asiwaju Tinubu, a leading opposition voice has been a consistent advocate of the rule of law and he is eagerly anxious for government to prove its case beyond reasonable doubts. Those who allege must prove.

“Asiwaju Tinubu is not perturbed, rather, he is assured that the judiciary is up to the task and will in this matter dispense justice without fear or favour.”

This Tinubu man is a common thief and MUST face the music. Many Nigerians are fools, always supporting criminals simply because he is from their tribe. When Orji Uzo Kalu was accused years ago many Igbos started shouting, claiming OBJ was intimidating Kalu bla bla bla. When Ibori was arrested we all know how many Niger Deltans kicked against it, claiming the government must bring the other corrupt governors to book before arresting Ibori.

What am I trying to say? Lets call a spade a spade. If my papa thief and you have evidence abeg nail him sharp sharp, I will never support a criminal simply because he is from my tribe or somehow related to me, TINUBU IS GUILTY AS CHARGED,

Some houses on Eze and Boardman Streets in the Uwani area of Enugu were on Tuesday submerged following a heavy downpour in the capital city of Enugu State.

Some of the affected residents said the flooding was caused by the ongoing road construction in the area and blamed the contractor, Enerco Contractors, for not providing a drainage channel.

Chukwudi Okeke, a resident of the area, said he had not witnessed such a problem in the 30 years that he had lived in the area.

"I have stayed in the area for up to 30 years now; the whole ordeal started after the construction on the road. Enerco Contractors have dealt with us. Most of my property is damaged," Mr Okeke said.

Ngozi Umeh, another resident, blamed the body that awarded the contract to Enerco for not supervising the work.

"How can such project lack supervision. We, the residents are suffering it; we can't leave the house without keeping someone on alert in case rain starts," Ejioffor Ogbodo, a petty trader said while appealing to the state government to intervene on their behalf and find a solution to the problem.

TRUTH IS MANY ROADS IN PHC ARE IN VERY BAD SHAPE. BUT THESE ROADS ARE ALL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. AMAECHI GIVES MUCH OF THE CONTRACTS TO HIS RIVERS MEN AND THESE PEOPLE ARE NO GOOD WHEN IT COMES TO ROAD CONSTRUCTION.  I CAN MENTION MANY ROADS THEY CONSTRUCTED LAST YEAR WHICH IS IMPASSABLE AT THIS TIME, THIS IS NOT JUST A RIVERS PROBLEM, IT HAPPENS ALL OVER NIGERIA.  THE ROADS IN PHC IS BY FAR BETTER THAN LAGOS ROADS. THE DIFFERENCE IS EVERY BAD ROAD IN PHC IS UNDERSTAND CONSTRUCTION, BUT LAGOS ROADS ARE A NIGHT MARE,

FROM MY OWN POINT OF VIEW,  AMECHI IS BY FAR BETTER THAN THE THIEF CALLED PETER ODILI. AMAECHI HAS BUILT THE BEST AND MOST EQUIPPED PRIMARY/SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN NIGERIA. HE IS ALSO DOING WONDERS IN THE HEALTH SECTOR, EVERY TOWN HERE IN PHC HAS A STANDARD HEALTH CENTER PLUS THE WORLD CLASS HOSPITAL IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A CANADIAN COMPANY. THE GAMES VILLAGE IN PHC IS SECOND TO NONE IN NIGERIA, I WAS THERE DURING THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED ALL NIGERIAN GAMES, THE PLACE IS LESS THAN 15 MINUTES DRIVE FROM MY HOUSE,

SECURITY SITUATION IS VERY OK NOW THAN BEFORE, WE GO OUT IN THE NIGHT WITHOUT FEAR,

IN SUMMERY, AMAECHI NEEDS TO ENGAGE ONLY REPUTABLE CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES, AND THIS SAME ADVISE GOES TO ALL STATE GOVERNORS,
AMAECHI HAS BUILT MORE ROADS THAN ANY OTHER STATE GOVERNOR IN RIVERS STATE,  AMAECHI IS BUILDING A WORLD CLASS CITY FROM SCRATCH, THE GREATER PORT HARCOURT MEGA CITY. COME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF, DONT BE FOOLED WITH WHAT U READ ON THE INTERNET,
RIVERS STATE IS VERY RICH SO AMAECHI SHOULD DO MORE, PERIOD

The problem with us is that we never appreciate anything Uncle Joe is trying atleast i can boost of 23.5 hours of electricity sometimes 24 hours at my side.
God bless you. Even in my village in Imo State I was there for 7 days and we had constant electricity that didn't go off for a second throughout my stay in the village. At some point i was asking people if Rochas has built any new power stations since he came into office,

In my house in PHC we enjoy at least 20 hours uninterrupted power supply sometimes more. In my opinion, electricity supply has greatly improved in Nigeria than ever before. My only concern is how long will this last?

I know we have been misruled for too long so therefore most people dont commend the government even when they try. I am not saying we should start shouting hosana right away but we must commend GEJ and Bath Nnaji bc they seems to know what they are doing in the power sector. Lets see how far they will go in the next 3 years, Let us all wish the the best of luck at least,

Foreign AffairsGod Will Be My Son's Judge - Kweku Adoboli's Father by RickyRoss1(op): 7:45pm On Sep 19, 2011
The father of the Ghanaian-born rogue trader, Kweku Adoboli who has been charged for defrauding the UBS of about 2. 3 billion dollars, John Adoboli, has insisted that he is trusting God for justice ahead of his son’s committal hearing in the UK this Thursday, 22nd of September.

Kweku Adoboli was charged with fraud and false accounting at a London court on Friday, September 16, after he was arrested for allegedly engaged in unauthorized trading to the tune of $2. 3bn from an initial $2bn.

Mr. Adoboli has since been remanded in custody.

His father, Mr. John Adoboli 63, told Citi News that the family will not comment much on the case until the committal hearing takes place.

The retired UN worker had earlier told the media that his son had integrity and cannot do such a thing.

Kweku Adoboli’s lawyer, Louisa Hodges also told Citi News that the defense team will make a public statement soon after this week’s court hearing.

Mokambo:
No matter what you say Nigeria would still surpass everybody in Africa so far as criminal and fraudulent behaviours are concerned. We Know every country has bad people but Nigerians always take it to a different level. They I guess introduced this 419 and sakawa to Ghanaians. Once Nigerians started trooping to Ghana I knew they were in trouble, they would corrupt and corrupt your young innocent minds, they are like pest. They should kick Nigerians out of Ghana.
Looser, there are very large number of Nigerians living in other countries like South Africa, Ivory Coast etc, why are citizens of those countries not doing 419 scam? Take Ivory Coast for instance, Nigerians have been living in that country for over 40 years and I have never heard that a citizen of that country is ever involved in 419 scam? Ghanians are criminally minded people even the small ones, there is no small person in Ghana, everyone in Ghana wants to get rich quick. When you talk about 419 scam in Africa Ghana comes immediately after Nigeria, Ghana will overtake Nigeria sooner than later. Nigerians do not do sakawa, Sakawa is a Ghanaian invention. Check the meaning of Sakawa on the internet before you open your bloated mouth to talk rubbish.

If you are Ghanaian living in Ghana, try visiting Ghana post office headquarters in Accra, you will weep for your country. Young boys as young as 13 are receiving thousands of items on daily basis, mostly laptops/expensive phones, jewelries and electronics bought with stolen credit cards, The Ghana post officials knows whats going on but they prefer to close their mouth bc these boys pay them well

Ghanaians are working very hard to overtake Nigerian when it comes to 419 scams. Ghanians are number one in dating scam and credit card scam. Almost everyone is involved. The saddest part is that young boys and girls, as young as 13 years old are using charms/juju in thier 419 trade, this is why MOST Ghanaian 419 scammers die very young, they hardly last upto 4 years bc of all the charms, juju and sacrifices they do. They mostly die through accident. In Ghana it is called SAKAWA or Blood Money in English. Just Google the word SAKAWA and see things for yourself,

Another sad thing is Ghanians never admit their boys are doing scam, they claim only Nigeria has scammers and fraudsters,
