Omo I have read through people comment and I just envy myself. My TFare to and fro is supposed to be #600
daily but I transport #300 and trek the remaining short distance just to reduce cost for other expenses. my current pay is slightly above #120k and work 2wks onsite and 2wks remote. Presently I have a job offer tha pays #150k+ depending on performance but it's strictly onsite,5days a wk unlike my current job that's 6days. when I calculated the tfare it's 30k current transport cost I'm thinking wether to decline the offer bu the advantages of the new job is less work stress when compared to current work. My fear if I eventually decline is T.P cost bc of it's fluctuating nature in Nigeria.

This topic is very good as one needs to constantly examine himself and know if he is earning to spend with little or no savings.

thanks for this.Am talking about the ones that held on to files or sit down doing noting till the last minutes and they start rushing things.In my own MDA , some workers seat under the tree during week day work hours and want to be call out weekends to come and do extra work for extra pay.The Director had to call them to order.The way the political class are causing harm to the citizens/system , the opportuned few ones in the civil service are also frustrating the system(workers) as well.
I was at work yesterday and most of the business women that came to sell end up not being able to sell half of what they brought and the frustration was palpable on their faces because some of dr goods like meatpie and the others if not sold same day definitely will get bad or they will just need to dash it out .Even the morale of most workers wasn't good at all.People are frustrated.we are even talking about people that got things doing ooo.May God help us Sha

I work from home on Mondays strictly and entitled to two days WFH in a month.

I only spend keke tfare of N100 (N200daily to and fro) from my junction to bus stop to use the staff bus.

200naira daily × 16/17days = N3,200/3,400 monthly.

The day they took the light out for 3 mins here to do some maintenance. They brought doughnuts, ice cream and burgers to apologize . I remember when internet went out for just 5 mins, the next day the internet company was here to double check everything. The funny thing is the light bills and internet bills here are even lesser than in Nigeria. It's really terrible and to be honest the current Nigeria you are experiencing is paradise compared to the Nigeria in the next few years.

Let me tell U guys a wee story.my car got hut by a concrete truck in tunnel SE London so the company took my car 4 repairs so they gave me a small toyota 4 doors. Its 1.2 ltrs I was wow fuel efficie t small Engine.one day some Aunty came frm 9ja and wants me to drive them to central London at night.so I had 4 very heavy women in the car.I kid U not.my fuel zapped cos of over weight. Consumption was like a 3ltr Engine.

Me I went for 10m loan and one new fool on desk was telling me to start the process of inspection and some nonsense procedure they have done before and this has taken like 10 months since we began the process.

I'll ignore them and they'd come calling me again. This morning, they called me, I came and only to be told of a fresh process. I told the donkey that if the volume I've done can't cover or prove my business and its lucrativity, then fvck it. I bounced out and told him I'm not interested. They should get my guarantee cheque for me.


Then I found this story. Nigerian bank won't help you, they come to you when you have established yourself.


I said to myself, if their loan didn't bring me here, It won't be what will get me forward.
