Family / Re: 'Fear Woman: The Adulterous Wife' - Obituary Poster In Delta State (photo) by Riscawendy(f): 7:26am On Mar 11
Whether this woman is guilty or not, putting her picture on that poster is not the right thing to do. On the flip side, many women had died because of an adulterous men but they pictures were not attached to their wives burial poster. I am not saying the women should cheat on their husbands but then if we want to start this trend, the men will be the highest culprit and not women. Let's be guided even in our grief.

Family / Re: The Guilt Of Locking My Husband Up For Two Days by Riscawendy(f): 5:22pm On Aug 23, 2023
The situation at hand is not easy for both, the man and the woman. For the woman, it is usually frustrating being the bread winner of the family so l can relate with that. For the man loosing your job 2 years no be beans. The anger, the frustration, depression etc will always set in. I feel he is trying to use the drinking and smoking to forget his sorrow but my advice to him is that it will never erase the situation.
Going forward l feel he should use the money he is using to drink and smoke to learn a skill online, who knows something may kick off from there.

These reasons are simply vague and vain. Not drawn from research or experience but just from ur imagination. I can bet u re not married and that u didn't interview any married/cheating woman/man to come up with these unconvincing reasons.

You don't need to be married or carry out research to know the basic cause of infidelity. If you observe what happens around your environment you can also drop few points like this.

Your wife knew the kind of man you are that was why she didn't tell you. Accept it or not, If she had told you, you wouldn't have reacted differently. There's an adage in Igbo that say " obughi ihe Nile nwanyi huru ka ona Koro diya" meaning ( ls not everything that a woman sees that she tells her husband)
Oga l know you are pained but please go and release your wife from prison.
As for the divorce don't even think of it, your daughter have been sexually abused at this age and you want to also seperate her from her mother, this will definitely not end well for her.
Is okay to the angry but time heals every wound.

pansophist:
It is men that approach women normally, hardly the other way round, so why can't these women say no to these bad men? You cant eat your cake and have it back. Nice guys are boring, right? well, there is always a price to pay.

These women choose these men, not due to the content of their character, but the extent of their status, flashiness, depth of the pocket, and a good toy to show off publically for a prolonged dose of an ego boost The good guys who they've locked in friendzone will probably treat them far better, but all they get is rejection.

Accountability will always take anyone far, and a woman who instead of looking at the mirror and reflecting on her ways chooses to point fingers will get damaged even further. Woman-up, and realize that humans, and in this case, women are the architect of their own misfortune.
what of men that rape women and after they will want to marry a virgin. Karma is real, one way or the other you will be served your own meal.

Politics / We Sold Our Brain by Riscawendy(f): 2:33am On Jul 02, 2022
WE SOLD OUR BRAIN
(Written ✍️ by Prisca Ojiobianu)

We sold our brain for a piece of cake.
We sold our brain for a plate of porridge..

We mortgaged our brain
for Lucifer's lucre.

Amount not enough for a decent meal..

They brain-washed you
And you willingly sold out the brain...

The world is harsh..
The world is cruel..

But who takes the blame?

The parents..
The children..
The church..
The society..
Or
The politicians..

Nothing sits on the brain neck again..

It lie bare and isolated..

No companion!
No unity!
No harmony!

When we try to unite "against the odds"
They put a knife to the thing that binds us together and we fall apart.

Religious and tribal sentiments..
Disunity..
Anarchy..
Felony..

The brain that should be the centre for knowledge is now an empty space for ignorance.

We've now become so intellectually handicapped!

We only smile during election either due to bribe or beautiful manifestos.

And cry afterwards because of failed promises!

Leaders are not held accountable..
"They do their many nonsense to their own heart's contempt"..

They live in affluence while we die in penury..
Yet we hail and applaud them when they ride on our streets with their bullet prove cars..

Our collective treasures looted!
Our poor opinions booted!

How can we chant our victory song when we are still in the enemies camp

Arise! oh you Nigerians and get hold of your brain.

Once bitten
Twice shy
We have learnt our lesson.

This is no longer "business as usual"..

This is a revolution!

An emancipation from mental slavery!

We are ready for the REAL change we deserve!

We are here for what is rightly ours!

We refuse to sell our brain again for a plate of porridge..

These days, we easily identify the colour of the money that should have been used for development when you bring them to the polling boots!

Keep your money, let's do our voting!

We must get it right, and the time is NOW!

Arise Nigerians and reclaim your COUNTRY!

I don't know from which point you are complaining.
Whether from the salt or
From not apologizing.

Even a professional cook can sometimes cook a salty meal, unless is a daily habit.

It's always painful to receive a condemnation after your long hours in the kitchen for small issues.

You can even put it this way. " Babe this your food sweet oo you really wanted to be so sweet that you added extra salt.

With the above statement you have passed the message without obviously hurting her.

Las las it not written in the bible that only women should cook. You can as well teach her by doing the cooking yourself while she watch.

Everything is not fight.
If you want your marriage to last apply wisdom.
Marriage is not children, but adults.

Why are we complaining, but after we will be clamoring for justice, she won the contest, should the crown be given to another? The other inmates may have committed more grievous offence than her. That no one publish their cases does not make them innocent.
All of them are criminals. so one of the criminals in kirikiri cell must wear the crown, if chidimma won the contest let her wear the crown.
And if you are not cool with that, you can exchange your freedom for a crown in the cell.

The salary is not bad for a start. You are working as a receptionist, my dear if you are prayerful, if you are courteous, if you are friendly and if you are humble you will make up to x2 of your salary by the end of the month, with that you can save up money for your own business.

One last advice from the first day at work make it clear to your boss or client that you are there to work and not to flirt. If they know you as that kind of lady, nobody will mess with you.
