I have already forfeited the game against Cockblockers. I was gonna be in the race, but injury to Assou-Ekotto just made things complicated and put him at a 4 DGW players advantage. Anyway, I have bigger cats to fry! (coogar)

I picked Ferreira over Bosingwa because while he might not be great he guarantees(maybe too strong a word) a certain level of performance Bosingwa cannot. At least Ferreira on his day can hold his own up against the likes of Ronaldo and Ribery, Bosingwa is guaranteed(not too strong) to fail!

You actually played better in the first leg where you created a lot of chances, it seems Chelsea bought a bigger bus! The key to unlocking a packed defence is simple: width!

To be fair to Pep he did try to add width with Cuenca and later Tello but neither of them got past their fullback once. A player like Valencia woulda made a real difference.

They kept working the ball wide, winger fails to beat fullback, pass back to Xavi, pass to other wing and on and on, that sequence alone ate up 30 minutes of the match! When your wide players can't dribble Drogba who was shifted to the left then you know you're in trouble.

Messi having his worst game in ages didn't help matters either. I've also noticed Xavi's distribution and overall game has been poor by his standards for a while, time to start blooding Cesc(probably ur best player on the night, critics where una dey? ) for that role ahead of next season IMO.

Speaking of which, I can't believe Pep took out Cesc for Keita and left Puyol(who seemed to be completely unoccupied both offensively and defensively) Busquets and Xavi on. I was expecting a 1-5-4 with Pedro playing a part.

Why pick a referee from a weak league with recent history of scandalous match-fixing throughout the league?

How do we know that this ref is not a secret Barca fan, like many Turksih are thanks to Recber Rustu.

This game would be decided by the referee. The Nou Camp crowd would be screaming for everything, and when you have the kind of possession Barca get, they could go down every 5 minutes if the wanted. If Barca cant break you down, all they have to do is pass the ball into the box and dive and the referee would give em a pen.

I hope this ref wont penalise DD everytime he goes for an aerial challenge etc.

Why everyone be hating on Fab 4? He missed(air shot) one good chance(similar scenario to Busquets' in the last minute who gets no blame), had another one heading for the bottom corner brilliantly cleared off the line, and they want to slaughter the nuccah. Did you not see the sick passes he was dropping?

The biggest culprits on the night were Messi for trying to dribble from that position, Valdes for his joke of a save attempt(how does this guy still play for Barca?), and Sanchez for missing the easiest chance of the lot.

You cannot really blame tactics either when the team has created 5 or 6 good chances to score and limited the opposition to one(which Valdes shoulda saved, again, no blame), Iniesta in the middle won't breeze through the heart of Chelsea's bus and score/create if Messi couldn't do it.

Shyte happens, on another day it coulda been 3 or 4 nil. That said, Barca's away record in these big UCL away games is notoriously poor.

But one has to admit RDM is a lucky man. There's hardly a result since he took over which hasn't flattered him. Barca shoulda scored 4 or 5 without fuss.
