and what is this valuation? david villa was purchased for £40 million. there's no way cesc holds more value in the transfer market than spain's highest goal scorer of all time.
Cesc just turned 24, Villa was about 29 or 30.

Using your brilliant logic i can also say if Torres(27?) was signed for £50m there's no way Cesc is worth less.

Has Wenger ever finished below 4th? The only teams that have performed better than Arsenal during the drought have spent A LOT MORE on their playing staff. It's not very difficult to understand.

We love the club and want changes. Its Wenger and the club's board that are the reasons for our failure because they have accepted mediocrity from the onset.
They have not accepted mediocrity, they've built a multi-million pound stadium to ensure they'll be able to compete/win in the long run. Accepting mediocrity would be staying at Highbury and falling by the wayside financially, which would inevitably lead to on-field disaster.

But I blame Wenger solely cos a better coach would have won things with this present squad. Take it or leave it.
Yes, a better coach might have won something with this squad, but the million dollar question is would Mr Better Coach have been able to assemble the squad to begin with on the budget Wenger has had to work with?

Is it not a testament to the man's genius he's been able to build a squad you feel should be winning titles with a fraction of what his rivals have spent on transfer fees and wages? People are always quick to sweep this part under the carpet all in the name of discrediting Wenger, but if i show you the figures your jaw will drop 21 stories.

Bros, stop trying to scare people into patronizing you. Kmeaw CFW does not brick consoles. The only potential risk of bricking your console while jailbreaking(power failure) is the same risk you face during a regular OFW update. Or do you also offer this your "professional help" to people updating their firmware when they play new games or sign in to PSN? cheesy

I never said you should install CFW from XMB, i said install it via service mode. Are you dyslexic? grin

Video Games And Gadgets For SaleRe: CLOSED by ritchboy(m): 12:08pm On Jun 09, 2011
There is nothing special about jailbreaking ps3s. . . With any decent guide, a half-brained monkey can do it.

A. Get the required files: OFW 3.55(if you're on lower FW), CFW 3.55(kmeaw), MD5 Checker(if source not fully trusted).

B. Install the OFW via XMB, then install the CFW via service mode.

It's as simple as updating your console, which you've probably done before.

Sharon your comprehension of the English Language is atrocious.

You are describing ambition as a noun - i.e. the desire to achieve something and also as a noun describing the result desired or object sought after.

Your use of both definitions interchangeably displays your paucity of understanding when it comes to word-usage.

Ambition: An eager or strong desire to achieve something

i ask again. . . .what has nasri achieved?
This boy is an olodo sha! Just sit back and admire your stupidity :-

A: Ambition: An eager or strong DESIRE to achieve something

B: i ask again. . . .what has nasri ACHIEVED?

You actually don't see the difference between the DESIRE to achieve something and actually ACHIEVING it? Valencia winning the league with United is not = ambition, it is ACHIEVEMENT. Nasri not winning the league with Arsenal is not a lack of ambition, it is a lack of ACHIEVEMENT.

In any case, you are still an olodo because the argument is about how ambitious Valencia was at Wigan i.e. BEFORE he won the Carling Cup and EPL with United.

Cougars aren't the brightest of animals but i think you should be able to decipher this. Otherwise i've either overestimated your intelligence or underestimated your stupidity cheesy

nasri wouldn't have moved to arsenal if he was ambitious. . . . .
This is ludicrous. . . Especially when you consider the fact Valencia would have happily moved to a team like Spurs or Aston Villa if United weren't interested in him.

where else would he play? in the centre of the midfield? samir nasri will do a hatchet job like fletcher or play the michael carrick role?
Nasri has played CM before. He can also play AM(his natural role). If he must play wide, then there's no reason he must play as a "traditional winger", is Park a traditional winger?

nani wins more tackles than js park. you should have checked their stats before bringing park's name up. bar valencia, nani is the most-hardworking winger in the league.
Stop embarrassing yourself. . . Park's work rate is 10 times greater than Nani's. Since we all know Nani is much better going forward, why do you think Fergie prefers Park on the big occasions at times? His hairstyle?

Tackles won alone cannot possibly tell us who has a higher work rate. In any case, can you provide the stats?

valencia was definitely more ambitious at wigan than samir. . . .should we compare the medals both have won since playing in the english league? valencia(pfa player) in his debut season at united. he's won a league title here too and other domestic competitions. isn't this nasri's 3rd season at arsenal? if he is made of gold, he should have done something to arsenal's trophy drought. . . . . .to make matters worse, he's even considering jumping off arsenal's ship? i hate traitors.
This is too reetarded to respond to.

brilliance is quite different to having mental strength. nasri has more tekkers than js park but the asian has more bottle than nasri. on techniques alone, nasri is miles better but what's the point of having a technique without the mental strength to back it up when things go tough?
Does high stamina = mental strength?

this is because pep has technical ability + strength. . . . .barcelona have the most hard-working players in europe. they press for the ball for 90 mins collectively. nasri's arsenal have the tekkers but no strength - the sole reason why they fell off the rail when the title race got hotter. pep mixes tekkers with strength. nasri has tekkers and no strength. if you are not drunk, you should see the difference. i have not said nasri has no techniques, i questioned his strength and united players are about strength.
You seem to have cooked up several meanings for the word "strength" so you can twist it to suit whatever argument you make. Barcelona have "strength" because they close the opposition down collectively. . . United have "strength" because, let me guess "never say die" attitude. Stoke City must also have a variation of "strength", another guess, physical.

This stregth you are telling us Nasri doesn't have(and Nani does), is it physical, mental or, wait for it. . . CLOSING DOWN STRENGTH! grin grin grin

Scarface - The chainsaw scene, bloody! And of course the infamous "say hello to my little friend".

then tell the little prince to stop using man utd to get himself a better deal at arsenal. who is nasri in the committee of achievers? what has he ever won as a footballer? rubbish!
What does any of this have to do with the matter at hand? So United only sign players who are members of the "committee of achievers"? I'm sure Valencia was vice-president and Nani was chairman when they were signed.

he cannot. he's not a traditional winger. one of the reasons arsenal continue to fail in the english league. no natural wingers, no width until clichy and sagna joins the attack. how many of nasri's crosses have directly resulted into a goal? why am i even asking this? he had one assist all season - same as edwin van der sar.
Is there a rule that says he must play wide?

i laugh in french. nani is lazy? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked now its obvious you watch your football upside down. you won't a find a more hard-working winger in the league bar valencia. if i show you the number of tackles nani has won in the last 2 seasons compared to nasri, you would weep for wenger.
Hehehe, in Man Utd alone there's Park Ji Sung not to mention the rest of the league. You must be the one watching your football through a peep hole.

valencia had higher ambitions. crikey me, n'zogbia has better ambitions than nasri.
Valencia at Wigan was more ambitious than Nasri at present? I should frame this and show it to your grandchildren. . .

nasri is just another overrated player who had a good first half of the season and fizzled out since the new year. rubbish player, he has no bottle and he's very very lazy with a zero mental strength.
You don't say! Is this the part where i'm supposed to start telling you how brilliant Nasri is?

there's a reason fergie prefers strength to technical ability. . . .nasri is not a united player.
There's also a reason Pep prefers technical ability to strength. . . If you can put 2 and 2 together you'll discover it's the same reason his troops disgraced Fergie's goons.

coogar:
there's no big deal there like you asked. . . . however, united are not even interested in samir nasri. just because scholes retired, every decent midfielder has been linked to old trafford. modric, nasri, defour, busquets, rodwell, henderson, etc. samir nasri does not have the man utd dna in him. he is another lazy midfielder and he cannot operate on the flanks like nani/valencia. it is a media-generated hogwash. let nasri go anywhere else if he's not satisfied with arsenal.  like evra told him, united don't tolerate laziness in their camp and this is the reason united have won 4 league titles in the last 5 seasons.

nasri's ambitions don't match ours. . . .shikena!
What a load of crap!

A. United are "not interested" in Nasri is a comical statement. . . It's like saying Liverpool are "not interested" in Messi. Why would you be interested in a player you cannot get?

B. Nasri cannot operate from the flanks? The "like" after that statement better mean what i think hope it does.

C. Nasri is no Tevez but his work-rate is higher than Nani who was your best player last season. If Nasri is lazy, what do we call Nani?

D. I'm sure Valencia and the like had higher ambitions when United signed them than Nasri at present. . . You can quit now!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Samir Nasri Refuses To Rule Out A Switch To Manchester United by ritchboy(m): 7:34pm On Jun 05, 2011
Aquaman will drown, The Human Torch will swim, Batman will be declared bankrupt, and Spider-Man will become a billionaire before Arsenal sell Nasri to United. The only way Nasri can join United is if he sees out his current contract then signs for free next year.

He knows it's impossible, he's just trying to get a better deal than the one currently on the table.

^^ Stop believing any crap you read on Goal.com. Why the hell would Iniesta leave Barca for Man City? They'd have to offer him like $1,000,000 a week for him to even consider it.

Cesc was more likely to leave last summer and he stayed, so i don't see how his depature this summer is "almost a given".

Barca would have to put a serious offer on the table for it to happen, not the derisory 30m they were offering last year.

I'm more concerned about Nasri signing the damn contract.

Top teams don't look for excuses. For example, United were supposedly denied a penalty from a handball by Mascherano. If it was another team, the entire world would be posting videos of the supposed penalty all over the Internet, and crying cheating to the highest heavens.

In fact there were a couple of challenges on Barca players that the United men complained about, like Busquets clutching his face (again!), such that Rooney and Carrick pulled him to his feet. But you did not hear them crying about supposed decisions that didn't go their way, they would rather blame themselves and their tactics, and respect the winners. To me, that's why they are a class act, and the best footballing side in England.
What a load of crap. . . ALL fans complain about officiating when it goes against them. If it's valid(i.e Ovrebo debacle), it's not an "excuse", it's a fact.

If United fans didn't complain after the game it's because they had nothing to complain about.

Denied which penalty? Don't make me laugh, Barcelona also had a similar shout turned down earlier in the game. Add to that Rooney's offside goal and the fact Valencia could have been booked thrice and it's Barcelona fans who should be making "excuses" for the scoreline not being more emphatic.
