& RuuDie is vindicated!

Giggsy starts with Carrick in the middle. . . . . grin
And Ruudie/Fergie's team have been blown to smithereens! grin grin

Barcelona probably wouldn't have had it this easy if United played 4-5-1. After the IGG(initial gra gra) displayed during the first ten minutes, United were absolutely slaughtered.

Take solace in the fact you are not the first and definitely won't be the last to receive "the treatment" cheesy

The sight of Europe's biggest teams shitting their pants at the prospect of facing Barca is well, there are no words! grin

Is there anything one can say about Barca that hasn't already been said?

I've just never seen the gap between the top team and the others so wide, probably because there just hasn't been any team this good.

@topic

Transfer targets? Ins & Outs?

I'd like to see:

Almunia OUT - IN Shea promoted to third choice

Clichy OUT - IN Jose Enrique

Denilson OUT - IN Scott Parker, OR Coquelin returns from loan

Rosicky OUT - IN Chamberlain(Ramsey's return to fitness would fill the void while Ox is slowly eased into regular first team action)

Arshavin OUT - IN Hazard

Bendtner OUT - IN Benzema

They probably won't all be possible depending on how much we can get for the departing players and the transfer budget. Also Ox might opt for United, and other clubs could offer more for the likes of Enrique, Hazard and Benzema. I'm assuming Cesc and Nasri stay of course.

LA Noire requires 3.6x firmware, no? Or have they released CFW for 3.6x? Fill me in! cheesy

^^ Sharrap! Aguero can drop deep, simples. Kun is more than capable of playing as an SS. Which one be as a fulltime job? If he's deep fulltime isn't that more of an AM role(451) than the SS role(442) you mooted?

Rooney's despoiling of Chelsea has really struck a chord in your cerebrum! grin grin

Aguero is no Rooney but he can play that role, though maybe not as deep as Rooney has played at times since the Hernandez era.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread:Home Of The Blues!!!! by ritchboy(m): 6:37pm On May 27, 2011
Aguero plus Torres is formation destabilising cos it forces you to play 4-4-2, besides none of em can drop deep and link play
Aguero can't drop deep and link play?

Another dirty bomb from the stables of Ibime! grin grin

I agree with everything else.

This is the very question i posed to Nateevs the other day that got his panties in a bunch. . . How can Chelsea spend so much on transfers and wages yet win just one major title in 5 years?

RVP has led Arsenal's attack for just two seasons and his goal-ratio in that period is probably the best in the league. His assist-ratio is also up there with the very best in the league.

And though I may have called some of Josh's skill world class I challenge to find the post I called him world class.
THIS is you making an absolute mockery of the hardware in your head:

Josh is absolutely world class. . . believe me. . .
After i called you out, you still went on to type more rubbish:

So no one else can be called world class because Messi is world class.
Now take a look in the mirror and tell me the person you see shouldn't be quarantined in a form-fitting cage. . .
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans Thread : Winners of the FA Cup And League Winners 09/10 by ritchboy(m): 7:30pm On Apr 29, 2011
Ryan does not play for all those crappy sides, he plays for Chelsea but on loan to those clubs. He was not signed by them
You are a world-class idiott. . . Those crappy sides are where he saw first team action, he's only played ONCE for Chelsea. I can as well pick any random crappy youngster from the reserves and say "he PLAYS for Chelsea".

because Clichy plays for a more superior team is not testament to his automatic superiority. That is a very lazy statement.
This statement alone proves beyond reasonable doubt you are the biggest F00L to ever walk the earth. YOU are the one who suggested the team a player plays for can indicate his quality, and now YOU are coming back to tell me it's a "lazy statement". You should be stoned to death for being such an unrepentant m0r0n.

I mean  Almunia until a few months ago was first choice goalie of Arsenal. By your dumb logic, he is better than every keeper in the Championship by virtue of the fact that he plays for Arsenal.
Don't try to lay your stupidity at my door-step. . . I never said because a player plays for a better team he is automatically better than his peers in worse teams. YOU were the one who implied that when YOU said "Clichy can only be LB for a team not serious about winning anything", and i'm overjoyed YOU are finally starting to realize just how dumb YOUR logic is.

I only mentioned Bertrand playing for worse sides than Clichy to show that even if YOUR "dumb logic" is used, Clichy is still superior to Bertrand.

Barcelona are linked with Clichy?  Hehehehehe. Suddenly it is ok to believe crap journalism. Okay let's say it's true, I will take you down memory lane.
A certain Arsenal player was linked with Barca a few seasons ago, actually he moved there. I spotted him some time in a blue shirt playing relegation football.
Because things didn't work out for Hleb at Barca doesn't mean he wasn't a good player. You think Barca woke up one morning and said "ok, let's waste x million pounds on that player and pay his wages, there's a lack of bad players around here"?

Clichy is crap. Poor positional sense. Deficient defensive skills and makes more crucial mistakes than all of his colleagues put together. And because he plays for Arsenal does not mean fk all.
I'm not going to tell you Clichy is a fantastic left-back because he isn't(at least not at the minute). But at least he has experience, was voted the best left-back in the league a few seasons ago, he's been first choice at a top club for 5 years, and he's been a France international for a long time.

So don't tell me an inexperienced/unproven rookie accustomed to League 1/Championship footie with no international experience and just half an hour of top-flight football is better than him. That is the mother of all idiotic statements. If Clichy is crap, Bertrand is crap9999999

Carlos Vela plays for Arsenal but I can conveniently say Connor Wickham is wayyyyyy better.
So you have also bought the Conor Wickham hype? If you want to join the British media in their customary unwarranted wankfests over any of their players with the slightest bit of ability, crack on.

Funny how you were hyperventilating a few days ago when someone said Welbeck is miles ahead of Sturridge, only to make a similar but immeasurably more senseless comment today.

Pat does not play for Leceister, he's on loan to Leceister and currently being kept out of the first team by arguably the best left back in the world.
He PLAYS FOR LEICESTER. If he were a "top class" player a better team would have taken him on loan. But of course your assertion is top class BS.

It doesn't matter if he's being kept out by the best left back in history. . . that doesn't tell us anything about HIS ability, because even if the player keeping him out is only fractionally better, he'd still be kept out.

I called him a top class LB. Not a world class left back. Except you are telling me they are the same.
We all have a good idea who a top class player is. . .You can debate the cryptic meaning of the crap you write in your spare time.

Taarabt has probably been the best player in the Championship this season but until he proves himself in the EPL, i'd think thrice before i call him him top class, not to mention van Aanholt.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Fans Thread : Winners of the FA Cup And League Winners 09/10 by ritchboy(m): 1:28pm On Apr 29, 2011
PVA is top class LB.
See what i was saying earlier? PVA is a "TOP CLASS LB" and that's why he plays for Leicester. . . will you just STFU? You have no clue what the difference is between potential and current ability.

Not so long ago i had to call you out when you described Josh as "ABSOLUTELY WORLD CLASS".

Do yourself a favor and get an English tutor so you can stop embarrassing yourself left, right, center and in alternate reality.

nateevs:
Though Ryan doesn't play in the PL yet, he already is a better LB than Clichy I am sorry.
Clichy can only be LB for a team not serious about winning anything.

His defensive awareness is average at best. While he is a decent player going forward, his his decision making defensively leaves a lot to be desired.
His positioning most times is very poor and makes more mistakes than the whole of Arsenals defense combined. I can however see how is still celebrated at Arsenal.
Dudes over there have no desire to win anything.
Debosky has already told us what ur problem might be(seeing a decent number of Chelsea youngsters doing reasonably well for the first time in a while and all of a sudden thinking they're the best thing since sliced bread). In your deluded mind i'm sure Josh is better than Cesc and Sturridge is better than RVP.

"Clichy can only be LB for a team not serious about winning anything", hehehe, i'm sure Nottingham Forest and the other Championship teams Bertrand has played for are perennial title winners. For the umpteenth time, your insatiable desire to constantly remind everyone the last time Arsenal won a trophy to overcompensate for your inferiority complex has gotten the better of you.

By bringing it up in this case you have only managed to highlight your own stupidity considering the fact Arsenal are infinitely superior to Oldham, Bournemouth, and the other crappy teams Bertrand has played for.

It says a lot about your intelligence that you think the team Clichy plays for drops a hint about his quality, when the player you are making the argument for has only played Reserve/Championship/League 1 football bar one appearance a week ago(perhaps that's what has you blowing his trumpet?).

Clichy is entering the final year of his contract and is being linked with Barcelona and the like, yet only lower league sides are interested in loaning your dear Ryan. At international level, Clichy won his first cap for France ages ago, Bertrand doesn't look like winning a cap for England anytime soon.

I can go on but i'll stop here cos your IQ is not even worth mocking any more.

I will take Gibbs over Clichy any day. And Gibbs is not even all that! grin
Ibime has already shed some light here so i'll let this one slide. However, there will be a day you'd have to pause for a minute, then accept you have no idea what you are talking about.

Yeah. This is that part. You probably do even know who Ryan is unless you google the name today.
Yet you are able to make a statement.

Kieran Gibbs, good player, . . That statement = Rubbish!.
Yeah, i don't know who Ryan is. . . "Ryan Bertrand" is an alias and the CIA are currently trying to decipher his true identity. You can stop embarrassing yourself now!

Maybe what you mean to say is "Bertrand has the potential to become a better left-back than Clichy". Yes Clichy has regressed since making the PFA team in 2008, but don't come here and utter seismic crap like "Bertrand is a better left-back than Clichy".

Millions of reetarded opinions like that would have been averted on Nairaland if nuccas bothered to learn to use the English language properly.

As for Gibbs vs Bertrand, don't make me laugh. You have embarrassed yourself enough for one day cheesy
