According to an eye witness, in the early hours of today, Kizz Daniel in the company of men of SARS arrived at Demmie Vee’s house in Lekki.

Four Nigerian boys from St John’s Science & Technical College in Anambra State have won the Bronze Medal at the International Festival of Engineering, Science and Technology which took place in Tunisia.

People scatter as shots were reportedly fired at Nipsey Hussle's vigil.

Reports claim that two individuals were shot and others trampled while gathering to remember the rapper.

The Grammy-nominated rapper, Nipsey Hussle, was killed in a shooting outside his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.

Two other men were shot, and the shooter has been identified as a member of his set "Rollin 60's Crips" by the name of Eric Holder aka "SHITTY Cuz" a known "shooter".

According to reports, Nipsey had asked him to leave his property due to prior conflict of him snitching, but he felt disrespected so he came back shooting. The L.A police have already declared him wanted.

Seriki Adeyinka, an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), has told TheNation, how a taxi driver hit her and drove off on high speed while she hung on the bonnet of his car in Ikorodu.

TheNation quoted her as saying the incident happened around 6:35 pm on Thursday, noting that she was on the car’s bonnet from Igbogbo garage on Ikorodu road to Oluwanishola filling station on Baiyeku road.

“I was at my duty post with another colleague. Usually, anytime from 4pm, traffic gets busy in the area. We were controlling the traffic when the taxi driver was coming and also picking passengers at the middle of the road, he caused a lot of traffic behind him. .

We told him to leave the middle of the road but he refused, I was trying to stop him to let him know that what he was doing on the road was bad, but while he sped off, he hit me with the car and I fell on the bonnet of the car.

If I had not fallen on the bonnet, the car will have crushed on me. When I fell on the bonnet, instead of him to wait, he moved on with a high speed. I struggled to hold something on the bonnet; he still drove on high speed and was swerving, trying to throw me down but I held something. .

While the car was moving people were trying to stop him but he was speeding and no one could stop him. Even when a trailer was coming, he tried to swerve me to the trailer maybe I would fall off from the bonnet, but as God would have it, I did not fall because I was holding the bonnet tightly.

But thank God an eyewitness who was driving behind was later able to overtake him and he stopped at Oluwanishola filling station on Baiyeku road”.

The main suspect in mass shootings at two New Zealand mosques was charged with one count of murder on Saturday, a day after the attack that killed 49 people and wounded dozens.

The man on arriving the prison, was beaten to a pulp by other inmates, as a way of condemning his actions that claimed the lives of innocent citizens.

According to the video, the inmates can be seen marching and brutalizing the man before pushing him into the cell.

Husband and wife, Ifeanyi Azota and Azotani Toochukwu and their family friend, Ogochukwu Nwankwo have been sentenced to prison for assaulting Okafor Ogochukwu, at Ezimezi village in Amawbia, Anambra state.

While the husband bagged 16 months imprisonment with a fine of N200,000, the wife and her friend bagged nine (9) years imprisonment each, for conspiracy, blackmail, deprivation of liberty and assault occassioning harm.

Some lodgers have accused the management of Askamaya Hotel, Lagos, of assaulting them for allegedly complaining about the poor quality of food they were served.

According one of them, “They sold a bad food for us after we booked five rooms and paid in full. They sold noodles with spoilt chicken for us and we couldn’t eat it.

We then spoke to the manager and the head of the kitchen to remove the money for the chicken from our bill because we couldn’t pay for that. Three of their staff even tasted the chicken and confirmed it was bad.

But instead of making things right, they said we won’t be able to move our 3 cars without paying and they started beating us. They used sharp objects on us and stole our wristwatch, chain and IPhone.”
