According to reports, a United Kingdom based model, Tapiwa Sithole, is dating former Zimbabwean First Lady, Grace Mugabe’s sons, Russell Goreraza and Robert Junior after claiming to have cohabited with the both of them on different occasions. Tapiwa, 24, revealed her affair with the two brothers after she was labelled a gold-digger for sharing pictures and videos on social media in the company of the two brothers. When H-Metro contacted her for comment, Tapiwa said,. “How can people say that I’m throwing myself to these boys when they are the ones who are after me? “A week ago, I was at Russell’s apartment, I spent days with him after he called me saying that he was neglected on his birthday. “How could I be forcing myself on him when he was actually taking me to places, spending money on me and taking me to Pretoria? “I don’t think if you’re really bothering someone, the person would pick you at the airport and take you to his apartment like what Russell did. “When I wanted to go back, I missed my flight and Russell was kind enough to take me from the airport, back to his apartment until I got my next flight,” she said. Tapiwa added that this was not the first time that she had spent “quality” time with Russell. “I don’t know why people are making noise about me and Russell now when we have stayed together before. “In 2017, I flew back to Zimbabwe and stayed with Russell at his apartment for a week. “We went to a club called 1+1 and different other places. Those that want to paint me as someone throwing herself to him are wrong,” she said. Speaking on Robert Junior, Tapiwa also revealed that she lived with him when she travelled to United Arab Emirates for an event. “I attended the Luxury Lifestyle awards in Dubai and Robert contacted me. “He drove his car and came to pick me up and went with me to his apartment, so how am I throwing myself at them? “People who are saying that are haters, none of your slay queens or your b**c**s in Zimbabwe have ever walked on the red carpet of those awards like I did, they are not on the same level with me,” she fumed. Nude pictures on Bilyaminu Bello’s phone led to the fight that eventually led to his killing, Maryam Sanda, who is standing trial for allegedly killing her husband, has reportedly revealed. Mrs Sanda in was charged for the murder of Mr Bello, a son of former PDP chairman, Haliru Bello, in November 2017. She was charged alongside her mother, Maimuna Aliyu; her brother, Aliyu Sanda; and their house-help, Sadiya Aminu. During a court session on Tuesday, a police officer involved in the investigation of Mr Bello’s death, Josephine Onyinyedu, told the court that Mrs Sanda had written the statement herself, “without being forced to do it”. In the statement which was tendered as an exhibit before the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High court in Maitama, Mrs Sanda said she saw nude pictures a lady had sent to her husband’s phone and confronted him. According to her, during the fight in their Maitama residence, Mr Bello had slipped on a wet floor and then fell over a broken shisha pot. She added that she drove husband to the General Hospital in Maitama where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The trial continues. A bike man has shocked commuters in the city of Lagos after performing some really dangerous stunts on the road. A video has emerged on social media showing the moment a stuntman got many commuters really stunned with his unbelievable stunts on his bike. The man was caught on camera by the occupants of a car which was slowly moving behind him as he performed his stunts in the middle of the road. In the video, people can heard from behind the camera expressing their amazement at what the man was doing. On his part, the man can be seen balancing very dangerously on his bike without even holding on to the handle as he allowed the machine to keep moving. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 secured the conviction of one Onovo Osita Malachy at the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State. The convict was arraigned on a one-count charge bordering on obtaining by false pretence. He was said to have fraudulently obtained the sum of $140,000 (One Hundred and Forty Thousand Dollars) from a foreigner through a love scam. Upon arraignment, the defendant pleaded “guilty” to the charge. The charge reads: "That you Onovo Osita Malachy on or about 4th day of July 2017 in Benin Edo State within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, did by means of fraudulent trick to wit: love scam on a dating site obtained the sum of $140,000 only from Helen Wang and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 421 of the Criminal Code Act CAP C38 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria,2004." Based on his plea, the prosecuting counsel, Larry Aso Peters, prayed the court to convict and sentence the defendant accordingly. The defence counsel, I. U. Uchechukwu pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy as the defendant “has become remorseful”. Justice A. A. Demi-Ajayi sentenced the defendant to 12 months imprisonment. The convict is also to forfeit all assets traced to him including an uncompleted building and a Toyota Camry 2007 model to the Federal Government of Nigeria. Ayodeji Felix Olaniyi, a corps member serving in Abak, Akwa Ibom State, is currently behind bars over a fraudulent payment he received from a person he allegedly sold bitcoin to. In a mail received some hours ago, while giving an insight into what led to Olaniyi’s arrest, one Olowoleye Olayinka wrote: “Olaniyi was arrested on the 14th of January 2019 (Monday). He is into selling of bitcoin. He sold bitcoin to a client who resides in Delta State. The client hacked a woman's UBA account in the same Delta State to pay him through mobile transfer to his GTB. He noticed the name of the client who bought the bitcoin is different from the account name that paid him. He quickly went to police station (A) Division Uyo, on the 12th January 2019 to lay a complain to DPO about the transaction. The DPO was not on seat so he met with IPO and wrote down a statement. On 14th January 2019 (Monday), he went back to the police station (A) Division Uyo, to ensure the DPO was aware of the statement he wrote. However, the DPO advised him to go to his bank and confirm the transaction and to also give him feedback of what happened. But on getting to the bank, he discovered his account was frozen. The bank then held him and police from (C) Division at Aka Etina Road, later arrested him and nothing has been done about it. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Enugu Zonal Office on January 15, 2019 arraigned two suspected fraudsters, Nnamdi Madu, 24, and Darlington Ifeakachi Nwali, 24, before Justice A.M. Liman of the Federal High Court, Enugu on a 10-count charge bordering on “intent to defraud and possession of fraudulent documents containing false pretences” contrary to Section 6 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act 2006 and punishable under Section 1(3) of the same Act. They were arrested on December 14, 2018 during a raid on the hideout of several members of a syndicate of fraudsters operating within Enugu metropolis mostly made up of University students and dropouts, who were observed to be living flamboyantly, above their means of livelihood. Analysis carried out by the Commission on the computers of the suspected fraudsters revealed a number of incriminating documents intended to be used in swindling unsuspecting foreigners. Some documents in the recovered computers of the suspects were titled “ SPANISH HASTING WARD CAREY & CHAMBERS,” “CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION OF A PRIVATE COMPANY” “ AILEEN” intended to be sent out using fake or stolen identities. Some other items recovered from them include, various ATM cards, a Toyota Venza with a National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS) number plate, Toyota Avalon, four laptops, several mobile phones, substances suspected to be charms, and wraps of Indian hemp among others. One of the defendants who trained as a science lab technician and who recently got a job at one of the teaching hospitals in Enugu was found to be the owner of a filling station in an outskirt of Enugu. They pleaded “not guilty” to charges when they were read to them. Defence counsel, Ndubuisi Nwaokporo, thereafter, moved motion for their bail, which was not opposed by the prosecuting counsel, Innocent Mbachie. Justice Liman, thereafter, granted bail in the sum of N500, 000 each, and one surety in like sum, who must have landed properties within the jurisdiction of the Court. While adjourning to January 21, 2019 for “commencement of trial”, Justice Liman, ordered that they should be remanded in prison custody pending when they meet the terms of their bail. A 19-year-old man, Andrew Chinedu, has been remanded in prison over his alleged defilement of two of his sisters aged eight and six years. Chinedu was yesterday arraigned before the Ogudu magistrate court where the magistrate, Mrs E. Kubeinje, ordered that he be remanded in prison for 65 days pending the receipt of legal advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions, DPPs. Chinedu, an apprentice who resides in Irawo, was dragged before the magistrate court on a two-count charge of child defilement and sexual assault. The police prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, told the court that the accused committed the offences between the months of June 2018 and September 2018 at Abayomi Street, Irawo, in Ajegunle area of Ikorodu in Lagos State. Ihiehie said the Lagos State Domestic and Social Violence Office, which initially handled the case and confirmed the violation of the girls, referred the father to report the case to the Police. Ihiehie said that the accused lived in the same compound with the parents of the girls. According to him, when the older of the siblings was questioned, she claimed that the accused normally calls her into his room when her parents were not around to have sex with her. “Any time I refused, he would beat me. He normally promises to buy me sweet but he never did,”Ihiehie quoted the child as saying The prosecutor also said that the six-year-old girl corroborated what her sister said and told the Police that the accused always had sex with her whenever their parents were not around and beats them if they refused. “He would tell her he wants to show her something and carry her to his bed and remove her cloths. She said it was when her elder sister fell sick and their father took them to the hospital that she opened up to him.”Ihiehie said He added that the offences contravened Sections 137 and 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. The Magistrate who refused the plea bargain of the suspect, adjourned the case until March 20 for mention. The police in Ebonyi State, on Tuesday, said they had arrested a 25-year-old man, Moris Mbam, who had been parading himself as a solider of the Nigerian Army in the state and beyond. Punch correspondent gathered that the suspect hails from the Okpuitim community in the Izzi Local Government Area of the state and had been declared wanted by the police since December 25, 2018, after he allegedly held occupants of a residential building in Onu-Ebonyi, a suburb of Abakakili metropolis, hostage for over two hours. Briefing journalists on the success recorded by the command before, during and after the Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Muhammed Mustafa, pointed out that Mbam was nabbed by police operatives attached to the Central Police Station, Abakaliki, at a commercial bank in Enugu, while attempting to withdraw proceeds of his illegal exploits. Mustafa stated, “He has been taking people hostage and as he went about intimidating people and claiming that he was a soldier, the police got wind of his activities and our men swung into action and got him arrested. “And before his arrest, he had been on our wanted list and he was arrested on January 11, 2019. The pastor of a New York City baptist church has been charged with the sexual abuse and rape of his own young daughter over six years. Son of the bishop at the Progressive Baptist Church of Brownsville in Brooklyn, Matthew Gibson was arrested on Thursday and accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting his now 14-year-old daughter. The abuse is alleged to have been taking place on the church’s grounds since 2012, shortly after the victim’s mother died. ‘He should rot in hell,’ said the victim’s grandmother, Josephine Maples. ‘How can a father do this?’ Myia Maples, the victim’s sister-in-law, says the victim confided in her about the abuse last week, blurting it out in a moment of emotion. Maples and her husband have had full custody of the victim and her twin brother for seven years, with Gibson only having bi-weekly weekend visitation rights. The victim’s twin brother says he was present at the church when the assaults were taking place, but had no idea what was going on. ‘He would make me play on the drums, and when it was happening, I wouldn’t be nowhere around,’ he said in an interview with NBC New York. ‘I feel like, in the moment, I let my sister down.’ Gibson, 44, was arrested on January 10 and charged with criminal sexual abuse and forcible touching of a female victim, aged between nine and 14. Kelechi Cosmos Emeh, a 32-year-old Nigerian man living in Queensland, Australia, has been charged after allegedly posing as a U.S soldier and forming a romantic relationship with a woman who sent him $370,000. Kelechi appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday where it was revealed he had also been accused of trying to get the victim to send him a further $170,000 before officers swooped and arrested him at his Durack home on Thursday. . . Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria are currently protesting in Abuja, to mark 3 years of the Zaria massacre and to demand the release of the leader, El-Zakzaky. This is coming after the Federal government authorities continued to ignore a December 2016 court order for the release of Ibrahim el zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, [IMN], a Shiite sect. El-zakzaky, his wife Zeenat as well as hundreds of IMN members, have been in detention without trial since December 2015, when soldiers allegedly killed 347 IMN members in Zaria, Kaduna state.
