A lady identified as Adenuga Adetoun has told the startling story of how she was badly battered recently.

The lady took to her Instagram page to reveal that some soldiers who were breaking road traffic rules nearly knocked her down in Lagos.

So I was beaten blue black by men in uniform this morning by marina bus stop.. I was crossing.. Out of the blue a car almost ran down.. On a one wat, I challenged the car for the speed on a one way.. When the car parked, there were three soldiers, two men and a woman.
Before I know what was happening I was descended on for questioning them for almost running me down with their car.. I wasn't able to get their faces but I got their plate number.. She wrote..

After the incident, she went to bonny camp to report the incident, but the lady at the gate refused her and told her that she can't report a soldier to a soldier..

The Nigerian police has reacted to the directive by President Buhari not to invite senator Ademola Adeleke for questioning.


Police spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, has said that Ademola Adeleke, governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun, has not been exonerated in spite of President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive not to invite him.
On Wednesday, the police invited Adeleke to appear at the force headquarters over an alleged malpractice while sitting for the 2017 National Examination Council (NECO) test.

But shortly after the invitation, Buhari ordered Ibrahim Idris, inspector-general of police (IGP), to suspend the invitation until after the election.
Adeleke is one of the four strong contenders in the election scheduled for Saturday.
Speaking on Good Morning Nigeria, a programme on NTA, on Thursday, Moshood said a suspect could be invited “at any time”.

“There is no time limit to arrest a suspect any suspect that has been accused or there is allegation of an offence can be invited at any time. Police action terminates when a matter has been taken to court. We have filed charges in court and the matter is off our hands,” he said.

“But if there is any directive that we should not invite him, that directive does not exonerate him from [allegation/] court process and the people should know that the rule of law prevails above any other consideration.”
The spokesman said the police is working to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for the Osun governorship election.

“As at yesterday, the deputy inspector-general of police in the state have gone around the state on what we call ‘the show of force exercise’ with other security agencies,” Moshood said.
“The DIG operations is in charge of the security architecture in the state for the election, they have gone round, they have met with people and equally talk to them.

“We are enjoying very large cooperation from them, we are hopeful that come Saturday everything will be peaceful to secure an environment for a credible election.”

On Sunday September 9th, actress Eucharia Anunobi was joined by her friends and family for the one year memorial/thanksgiving service of her son, Raymond Ekwu, who passed away in August last year. He was 15 years old.

Raymond died after a long battle with sickle cell anemia.
Eucharia shared more photos from the remeberance service which was attended by Nollywood stars including Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Anita Joseph,Keppy Ekpeyong and many others.

As we earlier reported, a peaceful graduation party of the students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, turned bloody, last night, as about 10 people were feared killed by cultists.

Now pictures of the incident have been obtained. Trouble allegedly started when two guys got into a serious fight at the venue, Judges quarters in Ekpoma. .

However, as people were trying to separate them, the other guy said they tore his cloth and they must pay. He later left with his friends, only to return with guns, in search of the person that fought him. .
Upon sighting his opponent, they opened fire on him and those who separated the fight. According to reports, about 10 people were killed, among who was one Dr. Einstein, a final year medical student set to graduate next week.

Other casualties include one Ose Abulu and his girlfriend, Jerry Omobude, who was an engineering student of the institution..

The Gallant soldiers of the Nigerian army have neutralized five deadly Boko Haram terrorists in Borno state.


JOINT TRANS- BORDER OPERATION: TROOPS NEUTRALISE 5 BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS

1. Troops of 21 Special Armoured Brigade deployed in Operation LAFIYA DOLE, in a joint trans-border operation with troops of the Cameroonian Defence Forces, neutralised five (5) Boko Haram Terrorists in the border villages of Yabiri Kote and Bula Dadobe of Bama Local Government Area Borno State.

2. The joint operations, nicknamed: "Operation RAINBOW 15" which was conducted from Saturday 15 - Sunday 16 September 2018, came on the heels of the discovery of makeshift bases, established by the terrorists in Yabiri Kote and Bula Dadode from where they launched attacks on villages in Cameroon and Nigeria.

3. During the joint trans- border operations, the gallant troops recovered some items from the terrorists.

4. The items include:
a. 3 AK 47 rifles.
b. Two Improvised Explosive Device ( IED) Shells.
c. One primed Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Belt.
d. Two motorcycles.
e. Eight bicycles.
f. Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Vest.
g. One Boko Haram flag.

5. The trans-border operations have successfully cleared the insurgents from the general area of Kote Kura.
6. Members of the general public are advised to report any suspicious movements or activities to the law enforcement agents for prompt action.

Senator David Mark who has shown interest in the job of President Muhammadu Buhari has boasted about his ability to cause a turn around in Nigeria.

A presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator David Mark, has promised to turn around the economy of the country within two years if elected President of Nigeria in the 2019 general elections.

Mark, a former Senate President, made the promise on Tuesday at the PDP secretariat in Lokoja while on a campaign visit to solicit votes of the state delegates to the presidential primaries in October.
He pledged to do many things differently to revamp the economy saying, “a lot of research had been done on the economy and if given the chance, he would bring them to bear and turn around things.’’

Economic growth under his watch, he said, would experience tremendous change within 700 days, which would be physical rather than based on paper statistics.
He said, “I will do so many things differently. When we put our processes in, the woman who is selling groundnuts by the roadside will feel the impact.
“It is not by mere statistics or indices that we churn out. We want the ordinary people on the streets to feel the impact of the economy on their lives.

“We have young men and women who are neck dip into research and understand the economy of this country.”
On his acceptance by the electorate in the core northern part of the country, Mark said he had equally worked for candidates from the core north and that now it was their turn to support him.

“I think the core north should support us because we also have supported the core north. It is a give and take thing and we are talking about Nigeria.
“We are not talking about a section of this country. If I don’t have a national support, to be honest with you, I would not want to be a President of this country.

“I want to be President of a united and indivisible country called Nigeria. Call it core north, core south or core whatever, wherever they are, let them support me because we too have supported them,” he said.
On consensus candidate, the former Senate President said that would be left for the aspirants and the party to decide.

“Whatever we do, the most important thing is that whoever emerges should emerge through a process that is fair, transparent and credible; whether it is by consensus or by primaries,” he said.

Buhari is expected to deliver Nigeria’s National Statement on the date, which is the first day of the general debate of the General Assembly high-level events.

Nigerian leader was initially placed as the number 20 on the list of the speakers out of the 193 world leaders that would address the Assembly.



However, the revised list showed that Buhari is now the number 18 on the list of the speakers, now speaking before the leaders of Japan and the United Kingdom.

He would deliver the address to the General Assembly during the afternoon session on the first day between 7.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. (between 12 midnight and 1.00 a.m. Nigerian time).

The President of Brazil would be the first world leader to present his address to the 73rd session followed by the U.S. President, Donald Trump, the traditional second speaker, being the host country.

UN Spokesperson, Mr Stephane Dujarric, said the number of participating Heads of State and Heads of Government in 2018 are higher than that of 2017.

“In advance of the plenary session, 88 Heads of State and 45 Heads of Government have confirmed that they will attend this session, which is up from 77 Heads of State and 37 Heads of Government last year.

“Regarding other events, as of today, the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management has received 342 requests for meetings during the high-level week. Compared to the same time last year, 343 requests had been received.

“This number will increase during the next week. Later in the week, the number of bi-laterals for the Secretary-General will be announced,” the UN spokesperson said.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, in his remarks at the opening of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, told the Member States that they would have a busy session ahead of them.

Guterres said that the UN needed action for peacekeeping, financing for the 2030 Agenda, empowerment for the world’s young people, urgent steps to end poverty and conflict, and much else.

The Secretary-General encouraged the Ambassadors to tell their leaders to come to next week’s high-level week ready to be bold, ready to cooperate, and ready to forge solutions.

A 19-year-old girl has been unable to speak after being
raped by about 12 men in Northern India. According to reports, the victim was drugged, kidnapped before being raped for about 8 hours.
She was on her way to a test-preparation course in Mahendragarh when she was kidnapped from a bus stop on Wednesday.

The young lady who is believed to have known the suspects was offered water by them and she accepted. It is believed the water was spiked when they offered it to her.
After drinking the water, she was driven to a house where other men arrived an they took turns to rape her. She was eventually driven back to the bus stop and dumped, with one of the men phoning her family to tell them to collect her.

The victim was taken to a hospital where she was treated for injuries to her back, shoulders and genitals.


Her mother told the The Times of India:

She has severe pain in her throat, and is unable to talk or swallow anything. They probably held her by the throat, which led to this pain.
No arrests have been made but police officer Ashwini Kumar said that police know the identity of the suspects, who had switched off their phones and were evading arrests, and have released pictures of three of them in an attempt to find them.


The three have been identified as Pankaj, who is in the army, Nishu and Manish.

Rather, we ask them to heed President Buhari’s constant refrain: return our stolen assets, then see how well we will do.

From the facts available to our investigation agencies, HSBC’s put down on President Buhari is no more than an expression of frustration over the administration’s measures put in place which has abolished grand corruption, the type which this bank thrives on in many countries.

They may also just be out to discredit the President out of the fear of sanctions and fines following the national assets that are stolen.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, declared a sit-at-home protest across the states in the South-East and some states in the South-South to mark the one year anniversary since their leader Nnamdi Kanu disappeared after his home was invaded.

IPOB members in Bata, Equatoria Guinea, also decided to join in the protest, even though they do not do business in Nigeria, and they've taken to social media to share photos of their locked shops to show their support for IPOB members in Nigeria.

The sit-at-home protest comes exactly one year after the Nigerian Army invaded the Afaraukwu, Umuahia country home of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. Since the invasion on September 14, 2017, Nnamdi Kanu has not been seen and his whereabouts remain unknown. His parents have also not been seen since then.

Tension between the United States of America and Russia might escalate to a dangerous level after US jets intercepted Russian bombers near Alaska.

As tension grows between America and Russia, over the war in Syria, the U.S. military has said that two Russian nuclear-capable bombers escorted by two fighter jets flew near Alaska on Sept. 11 before being intercepted by a pair of Air Force F-22 stealth fighter jets.



A statement by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) however, said that the Russian formation never entered U.S. or Canadian airspace.

NORAD said the Russian bombers and fighter jets were intercepted “west of mainland Alaska” by the American fighter jets at 10 p.m. ET Tuesday, but did not give a more precise location.

It’s the second time this month a pair of Russian bombers flew near Alaska.
On Sept. 1, the bombers were intercepted by F-22 fighters after crossing into the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone south of the Aleutian Islands.

In May, two defense officials told Fox News that two similar bombers came within 55 miles of the state’s west coast.
The Russian planes did not enter sovereign U.S. airspace on either of the previous two occasions.



The Russian military recently launched its largest military drill since 1981.
According to the country’s defense ministry, the Vostok or “East” exercise involves some 300,000 troops and over 1,000 aircraft.

Earlier Wednesday, the Russian military released video on Twitter showing a pair of Cold War era Tu-95 “Bear” bombers and a pair of fighter jets taking off from an airbase in eastern Russia.

A Nigerian lady has got herself trending online after giving birth to a bouncing baby girl and sharing her narrating her ordeal on Facebook. According to the Mass Communications graduate identified as Sandra Harrison, she had over 19 miscarriages and even stopped counting when it was getting too much.
She was told by doctors that she had fibroid and her Fallopian tubes were affected but the excited lady has given birth to a cute and bouncing baby girl after 6 years of marriage.

Medical doctors in Owerri said I had fibroid, my fallopian tubes were tilted and that my hormones were imbalanced. After trying and failing with hospitals and medical doctors, I had to try traditional doctors, herbalists if u may, and of cos they had their own reports. Ukwu oku, ehie afor, and the rest of them. Herbs (ogu igbo) took me to different parts of the east, aba, mbaise, anambra, orlu, ngwa, just to mention a few.


It’s not like I wasn’t getting pregnant, I was, but I kept loosing the pregnancies. I stopped counting when I had lost over 19 babies (19 miscarriages), because after all, it was not an achievement, I told myself there was no point keeping records.


I took drugs and drank concotions till I was almost shapeless, people kept telling me “Sandra u are getting fat oh, u better watch it”, without knowing what I was going thru, how would I have told them that it was the hormonal drugs that was making me fat.
A lot of things were said, a lot of gossip went out, I heard them all but still smiled with the people that said them, after all, they were “friends”, and some family.


One said she went with me to where I did the abortion that cost me my womb, another said I have plans of leaving my husband that’s why I didn’t want to get pregnant for him, another said I should keep buying cars, instead of building my home and filling it up with children, another said God has not given me my own kids because I don’t appreciate other people’s kids, another said im eating the children in my womb tru witchcraft, another said God will not bless me with my own kids because I have a bad character. I was called barren, a man, a wood, infertile, a witch……. the list of names and gossip is endless.

I prayed, oh believe you me, I prayed, I fasted, I cried, I went to different churches, I was in the chior, I cleaned the church on Saturdays. To a large extent I was faithful to God, yet nothing happened, and I kept asking God why he hated me so much.
But when it was time, it was time. God showed up, He proved himself strong, he showed me He didn’t hate me.

After 6 years of marriage, 6 years of waiting, 6 years of praying, 6 years of crying, 6 years of fasting, 6 years of mockery, 6 years if gossip, 6 years of pain, God decided to dry my late night tears with this beautiful miracle, MY BABY GIRL.

A Nigerian clergyman, Godfrey Emeghalu Godfrey, took to his Facebook page to advise women not to leave their marriages because they were beaten by their husbands.

Bishop Daniel Obinim is currently trending on social media after a video of him, wanting to fly to heaven trended earlier, and still trending.




The popular and controversial Ghanaian pastor during a service at one his his church branches, was reportedly trying to vanish into heaven. It appeared that the pastor, during the prophetic and deliverance service wanted to take off into the skies.




“I feel to fly right now, I feel to fly”, Obinim said in the video continuously. “Watch me, I am about to vanish” , he continued in Twi.
He then urged his church members who had the means, to record this groundbreaking exploit of vanishing into heaven.

He was instantly surrounded by some junior pastors and some of his congregants who begged him to rescind his decision to leave them on earth.
Despite Pastor Obinim assuring them of returning, they went on to plead for him to stop because their time was not up for him to ‘abandon’ them.

An Indian man who suspected his wife of cheating hacked off her head and carried it to the police station to confess to her murder.
Satish, 35, went to the police station in the town of Ajjampura in southern India with a machete and a bin bag.

On getting there, he pulled the severed and bloody head of his wife Roopa from the bag and waved it by its hair as disgusted officers shouted at him to put it back away.
He obeyed the police and put the head away before pulling it out again closer to the camera.
It was reported that when he got into the station, he said:


This is my wife, sir. I gave her all the love I could.
He then replaced the head in the bag before telling cops that his wife was cheating on him and he had lost his temper after seeing her with another man.

The complained that Roopa had chosen his rival, named as Sunil, over him despite the fact the man was a manual worker with a criminal record. He also told cops that Roopa had even taken out a loan for 300,000 INR – about £3,170 – and given the money to her lover.
Cops had to calm Satish down so they could begin taking his statement and launch a formal murder investigation.


Satish has been remanded in police custody after showing officers where he had left the rest of his wife’s body.

Photos of newly invented keke napeps have surfaced online.

It was gathered that these keke napeps were reportedly made in Nigeria. These new tricycles can be considered as luxury tricycles since they have everything the ones we are used don’t have.



According to Facebook user Raphael E. Junor, the keke napep can take three to six passengers at a time. It has electric fan and good ventilation.



And most important of all, it comes with doors that fit both sides and an extra tyre at the back just like SUVs.

This is not the first time that Nigerians would attempt to build a better time of keke napep. It has been reported that a Lagosian had built a revised keke napep a year ago.

A 10-man gang that specializes in selling joysticks has been arrested by the police in Kogi State today 10/10/19.

In a chat with AIT, they revealed how they killed four local vigilante men and a Police Officer in Ofu LGA during one of their operations .

39-year.old Yakubu Ahmedu is the king pin of the gang. He had held positions of Secretary of the Local Vigilante Group for five years and was its chairman for one year in Ankpa LGA where he hails from. .

In these capacities, Yakubu said he had access to arms and munitions with which he hunted down victims for human parts, especially male private organs. .

But the business nosedived after the arms mop up directed by The Inspector-General of Police. .

Consequently, Yakubu Ahmedu resorted to recruiting youths in the community to resuscitate the business. .

However, when he failed to keep his promise to give the young lads a comfortable life, one of the gang members, 18-year old Obila Attah. decided to turn the group in to the Inspector-General of Police Special Tactical Squad

Lieutenant Felix Tei Sormenaha, a Ghanaian soldier who reportedly died on Friday, September 7 had been on admission at the hospital after he was reportedly knocked down by a car on September 4.



Sormenah was set to get married to his fiance, Maame Efua Addison, on October 6.



According to award-winning journalist Mabel Aku Banaseh who shared the news on her Facebook page, the late soldier was a fine brain with a promising future and it is hurting that he is no more.

In a lengthy post on Facebook, Mabel wrote:

“I took particular notice of him because he was busy moving up and down to ensure all things go well at my young sister’s wedding reception on April 28, 2018

Lt. Felix Tei Sormenah, a friend of my sister’s husband, was a reflection of what true friendship was on that day



It was all joy when he turned up with his fiance at my residence the following day after church service for lunch

Lt. Sormenah was billed to marry on October 6, 2018, but something tragic has happened to him

He was knocked down by a vehicle.

We were all hoping for his speedy recovery after his surgery so we can witness his big day

But alas, my sister called me and delivered the chilling news amidst inconsolable tears

This fine young man died today before 12 noon.

I feel pained. It hurts to lose such a fine brain with a promising future.

He left behind his sorrowful parents, a grief stricken fiancée, siblings, family members, friends and loved ones.



Felix, your friends, loved ones and those of us who barely knew you are heartbroken.


I leave you in the hands of the Creator. May you find eternal rest in God’s bosom.

Following the constant altercation between Eniola Adenuga, son of Billionaire Mike Adenga and the lady who gave birth to a child for him out of wedlock, the court has ordered for his arrest.

The arrangement was said to have been running smoothly until May 18, 2018, when the father, in company with two policemen, allegedly took Athena from school and failed to return her to the mother.
The Falana & Falana Chambers had written a petition to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, accusing Eniola of abduction.

Mrs Funmi Falana, on behalf of her client, filed an ex parte application on May 25, 2018, seeking the release of the child to the mother.
She said Damilola had been traumatised by the incident, adding that she was afraid for the child’s safety.

The application was granted by a magistrate, Mrs M.R. Osho-Adebiyi, who ordered Eniola to produce the child.
He was further ordered to appear before the court to explain why he should not be charged for contempt of court.

However, Eniola’s lawyer, Victor Amalu, filed a motion on notice on August 7, 2018, praying for a stay of execution of the order.
Amalu also asked that the contempt of court application be set aside.

The chief magistrate, citing Section 64 of the Lagos State Child Right Law, 2007, gave full custody of the child to the mother till she was 18 years old.
He also gave Eniola “supervised” access to the child, adding that he could only see her every fortnight.

Elias advised the parents to take the child’s welfare seriously and put her development and progress first.
“The continuous refusal of the applicant to produce the subject in court amounts to contempt; bench warrant is accordingly ordered for any police officers to effect his arrest until he purges himself of contempt and gives full custody of the subject to the respondent,” he added.

When new men reached out to Eniola for his reaction to the ruling, he asked for some time to call back.
A lawyer, who claimed to be representing him, Abimbola Eniola, sent a correspondent a Lagos State High Court bench ruling, dated August 17, 2018.
The document showed Eniola as the applicant, while the chief magistrate, Elias, and Damilola, were respondents.
