There was commotion in a U.S. hospital after two men who each believed they were responsible for a woman’s pregnancy showed up for the birth of the baby, but hospital staff refused to let them both stay.

In a video going viral online, the expectant mother is seen lying on a bed, preparing for delivery while the two potential fathers sat in a corner.
The Hospital staff soon opens the door for a security man who asked that one of the men leaves because according to the hospital rule only the expectant mother and one person is allowed to be in the room with hospital staff during delivery.

Both men refused to leave and said they wanted to stay to see whose child it is.

“Look, this is the thing, sir, we don’t know if I’m the father or he’s the father so we both cannot go… We aren’t bothering nobody,” one of the men said.

The woman also didn’t want them to leave and kept asking employees, “what’s the problem?”. She was told it was the rule of the hospital but she refused to listen.
As tension heightened, one of the men told hospital staff:

“Let’s calm down so we can see who the baby looks like.”
Well, the hospital staff wasn’t having it as she packed her things and left the woman and both potential fathers.

The Federal Government has reportedly resolved to engage the California National Guards in the United States in a bid to combat insecurity.

The Adjutant General of the California National Guard Maj Gen David Baldwin led Army delegates to pay a courtesy visit to the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen TY Buratai to spur the relationship between the two military institutions to greater level.

The Federal Government, as part of efforts to curb the wave of insecurity in the country, has resolved to engage the California National Guards in the United States.

Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, disclosed this Tuesday in Abuja when an American military led by Gen David Baldwin, paid him a courtesy visit.

Dambazau revealed that the National Guard would also train the Agro Rangers Squad of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, adding that the National Guard will also train other agencies under the ministry in disaster management.

“We want to seize this opportunity to express our gratitude on behalf of all the services under the ministry, for meeting with some of them and even offering to assist with some logistics to enhance their operations.

“Part of what we want you to do particularly to the Civil Defence you met today is to create what we call Agro Rangers because of the incessant clashes we have between the farmers and herdsmen and the constant kidnapping we have in the country.

We intend to provide adequate security that will help those that invested in agriculture to continue with their activities. We will want you to assist other agencies like the Fire services, Immigration and Prison in terms of training and logistics.

“We, at the ministry, focus on policies that will enhance the internal security of the country and we want to seek your collaboration at that level you see how we can manage our efforts towards security sector reforms.

“It is very important we reform our security sector to meet up with challenges of modern times. As you know, we have challenges of insurgency and terrorism which is a global issue. We should be able to collaborate with you on these issues.
“Beyond that, I am sure that there are other things we can do together.

National Guard is very important in the USA especially as it focuses on disaster management. We hope to leverage on the experiences you used in managing hurricane in the USA to manage disaster like the flooding we experienced this year in Nigeria,” he appealed.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Baldwin, said: “We are very proud of the progressives you have made in the service of humanity. There has been a strong relationship between the ministry and the US National Guard.
“We are here to explore other areas of partnership that will be of mutual benefit and to the people of Nigeria. We are interesting in the training of personnel especially those involved in the fight against insurgency and disaster management.

“We are here to dialogue and explore opportunities we can work together particularly in the areas of ICT and disaster response. We look forward to working with you,” he said.

Tamara Okpewho, the Nigerian lady who appeared in a leaked sex video with a popular Lekki pastor, Chris Omatsola, was in an interview with BBC Pidgin.
In the course of the interview, she broke down at some point when it became very emotional.

Tamara, who was engaged to Apostle Omatsola for 7 months, during which period the sex video was filmed, insists Omatsola was the one who leaked the sex tape. She said he admitted it to police when he was arrested.

However, Omatsola insisted he never said that and didn’t release the sex tape.
As she spoke, Tamara broke down crying and said she had plans for herself this year but the leaked video has changed things. She added that she isn’t a “runz girl’ but just a woman who made a silly mistake for love.

Tamara then went further to implore ladies not to share nude photos and videos with their boyfriends and to also ensure that their these implicating media are not retained on their partners’ devices.

The Lagos state police command has invited and interrogated Mrs Bademosi, wife of the chairman of Credit Switch leader, Chief Ope Bademosi, who was murdered at his home in highbrow Parkview estate in Ikoyi, Lagos state last Wednesday October 31st.

Mrs Bademosi was invited to write her own statement after the cook, Sunday Anani, the prime suspect in the murder case, was arrested last Friday November 2nd.

The day of the incident, Mrs Bademosi had gone to the bank in the morning to carry out some transactions and returned home to find her husband in the pool of his blood. The Togolese cook who was employed four days before the incident was no where to be found when the incident happened.

He was later arrested in his hideout in Akure, the Ondo state capital. In a viral video, the cook alleged that assassins killed the chief.

The case has since been transferred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba where Mrs Bademosi made her statement.

A teenager who died after being stabbed outside a Tube station has been named. Malcolm Mide-Madariola, 17, A Nigerian who resides in Peckham, was attacked in Balham Hill outside Clapham South station, London on Friday.

He died in hospital following the stabbing which police said happened after "an altercation between two small groups of young males" No arrests have been made as part of the murder investigation.

Det Ch Insp John Massey said he "didn't believe" anyone involved had travelled on the Tube.

"There were a large number of people present when emergency services arrived at the scene," he said.
"Although many have come forward, I want to ensure that we have spoken to all potential witnesses,"

John said.

Floral tributes have now been left near to the spot where Malcolm was stabbed.
Malcolm, a student at a college in Clapham, became the second teenager to be stabbed to death in south London within 24 hours.

Jay Hughes, 15, died on Thursday night after being stabbed in a chicken shop in Randlesdown Road, Bellingham. No arrests have been made in that murder investigation as well.

There was pandemonium after a footballer was caught walking around naked in opponent’s dressing room. The incident attracted a huge crowd of football supporters who gathered at the scene and almost attacked the player.

The footballer for Chambeshi football club in Zambia was on Sunday afternoon (yesterday) caught naked in the Mighty Mufulira football team’s dressing room just when the two teams were about to a match.

The player who was almost mobbed – was handed over to the police by angry crowd who attributed the act to witchcraft/diabolism..

According to the club supporters, the act is related to football witchcraft which has been going on in African football for years.

A 28-year-old mother of two, Funmilola Adeodu, reportedly committed suicide in Ilogbo-Eremi, in the Morogbo area of Lagos State, to spite her mother, Ifatunmibi Adegbenle, for allegedly maltreating her niece, Rachael Balogun.

According to Punch, Rachael lived with her grandmother Ifatunmibi in their neighborhood. The fight between Funmilola and the mother had always been about the way her niece was being treated.

Funmilola was of the opinion that her mother was subjecting the niece to harsh treatment but the mother believed she was only disciplining her granddaughter who is said to be a very stubborn girl. Rachael who lived with her grandmother would always run to Funmilola's home to stay anytime her grandmother.

Ifatunmibi told PUNCH Metro that she had on several occasions cautioned her daughter against encouraging Rachael’s misconduct.

She explained that Funmilola had already taken the rat poison before coming to her place, adding that efforts to prevent her from drinking the Sniper proved abortive.

Funmilola’s father, Hassan, said the deceased also attempted to poison her own son, Joseph, but was stopped, adding that she was counselled for hours after her first suicidal attempt failed.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Lagos State police command, CSP Chike Oti, said that the police is still investigating the matter.

Boko Haram terrorist, numbering over 200 have, Wednesday evening, attacked some villages near Maiduguri, Borno state and killed no fewer than 15 persons.

The terrorists attacked Kofi, Abba Malumti, Gozari, and Dalori II Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, all in Konduga local government area of the state.

The terrorists who had stormed Kofi, had, according to villagers who had fled during the attack, met the Islamic cleric and some members of his family who did not flee before their arrival and set them ablaze.

The terrorists, who, according to reports, overpowered security personnel with firepower, also attacked Dalori II IDP camp and killed eight persons.

Also attacking Malumti village, the terrorists killed two persons and set many properties, including animals ablaze.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian army has claimed that it foiled the attack by the insurgents at Dalori IDP camp and Kofa. The army said it was an attempted attack at about 10pm. It said the attack was aborted by troops of 251 Task Force Battalion, a statement by the army on a Facebook post claim.

According to a report by New Telegraph, a yet-to-be-identified man yesterday died during an early morning road exercise in Aba, Abia State.



Witnesses said the man, aged between 30 and 35, was exercising on Ikot Ekpene Road, Ogbor Hill when he suddenly slumped and died before he could be taken to the hospital. The incident led to traffic build up as the deceased lay on the road while sympathizers raised a barrier to alert motorists to avoid crushing the body.

“The man was exercising on the road before he suddenly collapsed and foams started coming out of his mouth. Nobody knew what happened to him, but when he collapsed on the road, we knew there was a problem. Some people checked him for any means of identification. None was found,” a witness said.


When New Telegraph visited the area, the body of the man dressed in white sportswear was still lying on the road, even as a team of policemen took over the scene. Sympathisers gathered in groups to discuss the situation, but no one was able to identify the man before his body was taken away in an ambulance.


The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Geoffrey Ogbonna, could not be reached at press time. However, a senior police officer at the Ogbor Hill Division said the body had been deposited in a mortuary while efforts were being made to locate his family.

The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, had a rather bizarre interview on ChannelsTV where he told the host, Maupe Ogun, that she might need more lessons in the English Language. El-Rufai was reacting to a statement credited to him about the Shiites leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky. He had said of El-Zakzaky, “I know the animal I am dealing with”, a comment which Maupe said may be considered as denigrating.

The governor, however, defended his metaphor by saying: “It’s an idiom I don’t mean that El-Zakzaky is an animal or anything. You know what I am talking about, if you don’t know then maybe you need more lessons in the English Language it is as simple as that.” But Maupe was not having it, and she insisted that El-Rufai use another word rather than “animal” to which the governor replied with a smile “I know the person I’m dealing with.”

El-Rufai had said that his problem with the El-Zakzaky’s movement, was their refusal to acknowledge constituted authority. “Shi’ites are citizens of Nigeria and they are entitled to practice their religion, there is no problem with that. Those protesting for the release of El-Zakzaky are not necessarily Shias, they are members of El-Zakzaky’s movement. “In Kaduna, there are two other Shi’ite organizations that don’t protest, they don’t block highways, they recognize the President of Nigeria and me as the governor of the state and we don’t have a problem with them.

“The one that we have problems with is the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, headed by El-Zakzaky, they don’t recognize the President of Nigeria as sovereign, they don’t recognize me as governor. Their allegiance is to another country and their objective is to turn Nigeria into an Islamic republic.

“They are against the state, never recognized the Nigerian constitution. “I know El-Zakzaky personally, we were both students at the Amadu Bello University in Zaria, we were both active in the Muslim Students Society so I know the animal I’m dealing with. Many of those making comments on this issue don’t know the history, I was in ABU when El-Zakzaky was dismissed, I know him.”
On outlawing the group, El-Rufai said; “Outlawing them is the only solution we see and anybody with a different view should tell us.” Shiites were recently in the news after they reportedly lost 50 members during a clash with soldiers in Abuja Sunday.

In an interview with Channels TV, Sani said President Buhari is at the moment the heart, soul and oxygen of the party.


“APC cannot last beyond the political lifespan of President Muhammadu Buhari. Buhari remains the heart, soul and oxygen of the party. I don’t think after Buhari, there will be APC again in the sense that everything begins and ends with him,” Sani said.

Sani stated that th ruling party has in all ways disappointed Nigerians.
“I believe that APC has in every possible way disappointed not only those who are its members, but it disappointed the country,” he said.

A young lady has been arrested after allegedly stabbing her friend in the neck over a man.
According to reports, the attacked woman was stabbed by her friend identified as Ludivin Kamga over her relationship with the unnamed man whom the suspect is said to be in love with.


The shocking incident happened few days ago at Bafoussam in the Western Region of Cameroon.
It was gathered that when the suspect went to the man’s house, she reportedly saw met her friend whom she engaged in a fight after hurling insults at each other.

In the course of the clash, the young lady was said to have stabbed her friend in the neck as people around gathered and rushed the injured woman to the hospital where she’s in critical condition as some claim she later passed away.

The cyber crime cell of the Mumbai Police on Saturday arrested three Nigerian Nationals from Delhi for allegedly hacking the email account of Member of Parliament and Congress Leader, Hussain Dalwai and sending distress emails to his contacts asking for money.

According to the cyber cell, the police had learned about the whereabouts of the suspects who were staying in Delhi from where the three foreign nationals were arrested on Friday and brought to Mumbai later.

They were produced before a court on Saturday which remanded them to police custody till November 2.

The three have been identified as Konate Mohamed, 31; Ouattara Golhaud, 32; and Okpeaifoh Michael, 31. The police have also recovered laptop, pen drive, mobile phones, and ATM cards of various banks which suggest that it is a well-organised gang. The investigators have also recovered Rs 70,000 from the suspects, the police said.

The Presidency says it is an indication of idleness on the part of PDP and other Nigerians, to make a fuss about President Buhari not presenting his certificates to INEC.

This is coming after President Buhari while submitting his presidential nomination form to INEC ahead of the February 2019 elections, presented a sworn affidavit instead of his certificates.

According to his affidavit, his credentials are still with the Nigerian Army where he was an officer until his retirement in 1985.

Reacting to the backlash that has followed the development, Femi Adesina who is the Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, told the Nation, that the certificate saga is a dead issue.


Also commenting, the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Lanre Issa-Onilu, said President Buhari has the minimal qualification to run for president.


President Buhari in his sworn affidavit submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)listed his academic and military attainments as follows: Elementary School Daura and Mai Aduwa (1948-1952); Middle School, Katsina (1953-1956); Katsina Provincial Secondary School (now Government College, Katsina)-1956 to 1961; Nigerian Military Training School, Kaduna (1962-1963); Cadet Officer Course Aldershot, UK (October 1963); Platoon Commander Course, Nigerian Military College, Kaduna (1963-1964); Army Mechanical Transport School, Bordan, England (1965); Defence Service Staff College, Wellington India (1973-1974); and United States Army War College (1979-1980).

Sections 130 and 131 of the 1999 Constitution provides eligibility guidelines for a presidential candidate.

Section 130 of the 1999 Constitution says: “There shall be for the Federation, a President” and such “President shall be the Head of State, the Chief Executive of the Federation and Commander- In –Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federation”.

“Section 131 states: “A person shall be qualified for election to the office of President if –
*He is a citizen of Nigeria by birth;
*He has attained the age of forty – years.
*He is a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political party; and
*He has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.

Independent National Electoral Commission Chairman Mahmood Yakubu said on Friday that Nigerians who have an issue with the credentials submitted by candidates contesting next year’s elections are free to challenge such claims in court.

He said Fela's women, including his mother and his step mum Najite, suffered brutality in the hands of Nigerian soldiers who oppressed them because of Fela's fearlessness. He added that their home was usually invaded by trigger-happy soldiers.

Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Wednesday, visited 67 years old Mrs. Ajibola Olutayo Otubose, wife of 72-year-old Prof.Oluwatowoloju Otubose, who gave birth to a baby boy, after over 39 years of marriage.

Mrs Otubose has become the oldest Nigerian woman to give birth through IVF (in-vitro fertilization). She is also the oldest African in recorded history to give birth to a baby, and the 2nd oldest mum in the world.

This is the moment a pastor was filmed casting out demons from a woman but most of his moves were so inappropriate and has raised more than a few brows.

Lawan Faro, the man who climbed the billboard hanger in Yola yesterday, with threats to jump to his death if President Buhari fails to resign, has been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command.

Lawan said he would commit suicide if Buhari does not vacate the seat for Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate.

He was reportedly lured by the Police to come down from the Billboard hanger with the promise that he would be taken to house of the PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, but was instead taken to the Police Station upon his arrest.

Speaking after his arrest, Lawan said

”At about 8:00pm, some soldiers came the by in company of some people who claimed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was waiting for me, so I was convinced and I came down.

They had a car parked waiting to take me to Atiku’s house, but unfortunately, it was a trick because here I am, they brought me to Jimeta Police Station. But make no mistake about my demand; the moment I regain my freedom, I’ll be heading to a taller object, possibly a telecommunications mast, to carry out my threat.”
