Governor Oshiomhole should learn how to pick his opponents. Adesina is someone that the Kano State Government under opposition(APC) went ahead to name an Irrigation Project after him. If he didnt work I dont think they would have done this. |
Op I pray God opens your eyes of understanding. Have you heard of imprecatory psalms. Imprecatory Psalms, contained within the Book of Psalms of the Hebrew Bible (תנ"ך), are those that invoke judgment, calamity, or curses, upon one's enemies or those perceived as the enemies of God. Major Imprecatory Psalms include Psalm 69 and Psalm 109, while Psalms 5, 6, 11, 12, 35, 37, 40, 52, 54, 56, 58, 69, 79, 83, 137, 139. So what was David doing here. When they pray in MFM and they say die, all they are doing is making a petition to God that powers behind a particular problem should not have effect anymore(die) and those evil powers usually work through willing vessels. All we do in MFM is pass Judgements on these powers through God. How God achieves it id not our business. Psalms Chapter 109 1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise; 2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue. 3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. 4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. 5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love. 6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand. 7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin. 8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office. 9Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. 10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places. 11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour. 12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children. 13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. 14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. 15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth. 16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart. 17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. 18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. 19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually. 20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul. 21 But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me. 22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me. 23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust. 24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness. 25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads. 26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy: 27 That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it. 28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice. 29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle. 30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. 31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul. |

I have been reading much recently about how Obasanjo has continously been vilifying different People. Recently he has turned his attention to Ex President Jonathan. However I set to ask myself Is Obasanjo Hand Clean? Has he always done things with altruistic inclinations? He has written two books namely :My Command(Civil war Memoir) and My Watch(Memoirs of his time as President). However certain people have come out to debunk his claims. I reproduce one of such by Brig. Gen. Alabi Isama Below: P.M. NEWS Nigeria Menu Obasanjo, An Incredible Liar —Brig-Gen Alabi-Isama December 15, 2014 • From his base in Ilorin, retired Brigadier Godwin Alabi-Isama this morning sent his caustic response to General Olusegun Obasanjo’s three-volume memoir, My Watch. In a telephone conversation with P.M.NEWS and TheNEWS, Alabi-Isama described Obasanjo as an incredible liar and said that if he had read Obasanjo’s book before it was presented in Lagos last Tuesday, 9 December, he would have gone to the venue to challenge Obasanjo. He said “the tragedy of our civil war is painful, but that Obasanjo is publishing fiction about it is so outrageous. We should not allow this liar to get away with his self-serving lies.’’ Here is the text of Alabi-Isama’s response: •Alabi-Isama “I’m gravely pained to be trading words with General Olusegun Obasanjo once again on the history of Nigeria-Biafra War. He is an elder and a former ruler who, ordinarily, should be treated with utmost respect. But how can one genuinely respect an old man who tells lies like a badly raised child? Obasanjo has obviously not recovered from the shock inflicted on him by my book, The Tragedy of Victory in which I exposed the tissues of lies in his civil war memoir, My Command. It is said that a lie may travel for a thousand miles, but it takes just one step of truth to catch up with it. “I’m alive to stand up to him on the lies he has told on the war because I was a major participant in it. I kept records. With facts and figures at my finger tips, I have debunked Obasanjo’s lies in part three of my book, consisting of one hundred and sixty five pages, sixty nine pictures, thirteen military strategies and tactics, maps and documents. This was the same Obasanjo who published a fake Federal Government gazette that I was found guilty by the Army when I was never tried. I have proved that Obasanjo was an incompetent commander. I have proved that he was a wily and cunning fellow, and an incredible opportunist who reaped where he did not sow. “I have proved that he was an ingrate and a hypocrite. More importantly, I have proved that he was a coward, who ran away from the war front to go and look for phantom ammunition. Rather than respond to my claims the way a gallant officer should, he has now responded like a motor-park tout, impugning my person and questioning my ethnic lineage. I never said I was from Ibadan. I only schooled there. General Obasanjo, this bolekaja style is so demeaning. You live in a glass house, so stop throwing stones. We, who have facts, pictures and documents, meticulously kept over the years, can tell the whole world one or two things about you. L-R: Alabi-Isama, mother of bride groom, Obasanjo and his bride, Remi “Have a look at this attached picture at your wedding to your first wife Remi. When the photographer wanted to take the picture of the bride and groom and their parents, you said a few things about your parents which I still remember. It was only Remi’s mother that took the picture with us. Please, don’t mess with the memory of my dear parents. You know my mother, an Ilorin woman, and you also saw her at the war front. She told me who my father was and she spoke his language, and took me to his home town when he died. I went to primary school in Owu, so I know your family very well. You should be honest enough to tell the world the story of the man who was your father. I told you and wrote in my book that any person who does not appreciate the efforts of women has had no good mother. Please, don’t go beyond military tactics and strategies when dealing with me. “You say in volume three of your book My Watch that I could be in bed with a woman while radioing my commander that I was in pursuit of rebels. Hundreds of thousands of those who have read my book The Tragedy of Victory——a six hundred and seventy-page book, complete with four hundred and fifty pictures and thirty nine military strategies and tactics, maps and documents—- will call you a liar. I am so surprised and even embarrassed that a man of your status is still trading in gutter rumours. An elder with a filthy mind, a leader who lacks wisdom of age, does not deserve any respect. “I’m the same Godwin Alabi-Isama that commanded the troops that liberated today’s Cross River State in thirty days of battle from Calabar to Obubra with no single casualty. This is the same Alabi-Isama that advanced 480 kilometres in 30 days from Calabar to Port Harcourt, liberating today’s Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa States with 35,000 men and women with 15000 on logistics, building roads and pontoons, with 8 men and 2 officers as my casualties. Obasanjo ordered the attack of Ohoba, a mere 24 miles from Owerri, in one hour of battle, more than 1000 Nigerian soldiers were dead. Obasanjo unveiling the book “Obasanjo claims that when I once played squash with him, I cheated. This incredible liar has forgotten that there were witnesses to that game. Those witnesses are still alive, and they remember what really happened. I played squash with him once in my life. He could not make a point because I was not one of his sycophants who would allow him to win a game just to massage his huge ego. Look, General Obasanjo, there was no way you could have beaten me in any game. You do not have the physique and agility to do that. Apart from being a popular sports man and soccer captain in Ibadan Boys High School, I was Sports Officer in the Nigerian Army, playing games from soccer to tennis, athletics etc. You never played any games at school let alone in the Army. If you had been diligent at your physical exercises as we were taught to be, your protruding tummy would not have become a butt of joke to many officers and men of the Army. “General Obasanjo may try but he cannot deny the evidence of the civil war tragic history. While he got over a thousand soldiers killed at Ohoba, myself, Alani Akinrinade, and the brilliant and hardworking Pincer Team of Ola Oni, Iluyomade, Isemede, S.S. Tomoye, Salawu, Okwarobo, Sunny Tuoyo, etc. did a better job at the Third Marine Commando. I have stated how it was done in The Tragedy of Victory, by writing to set the Civil War records straight. Obasanjo says I only wanted to make money that was why I wrote my book, after all I was broke. I thank Obasanjo for unwittingly giving credit that I did not steal money in the Army. I believe that this country Nigeria ought to know by now all the crooks parading themselves as saints. Now I know why Obasanjo was surprised at my financial successes abroad, and then sent his wife Stella of blessed memory to me. She was my guest in Houston Texas for a week. We have video and pictures of the visit with witnesses like Jack Gonsoulin, Rod Anthony, and Tom Britton. “I challenge Obasanjo to a debate on military tactics and strategies on the Nigerian Civil War. He wrote about his team. Who were they? George Innih went the wrong way to Arochukwu when Akinrinade needed reinforcement for the final battle to capture Uli Ihiala airport. Akinrinade told him that he would shoot George Innih anytime he showed up. Where was Obasanjo’s fake Apollo Battalion that operated behind enemy lines, when he could not capture Ohoba? When Akinrinade called him that Biafra troops had surrendered to him and the Pincer team, Obasanjo, who was coming from a party, got lost looking for them, as he did not know where to go and did not know the way to Amichi. “I am not qualified to comment on Obasanjo’s political achievements, if any, for this country. The people and posterity will do that. There is no president in this country that he has not condemned. Haba! He always thinks that he has the preserve of knowledge on how to rule this country. Did the country move forward when he was Head of State or President? He destroyed the heart of the national security. We can see the result today. He destroyed education in many ways. We see the result today. He destroyed a lot of other things. As for how he has treated his family shabbily, his wife and children have openly made their comments. Those comments are in public domain today and forever, even though Obasanjo cleverly brushes them aside in his current book. “I implore Obasanjo to stop lying before he dies.” Source:[http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2014/12/15/obasanjo-an-incredible-liar-brig-gen-alabi-isama/] |

I am sure many of us have seen his image many times associated with the Christ Apostolic Church(CAC) however most of us know little about him. Apostle Ayo Babalola is one of the Greatest Men of God that ever tread the face of this Earth . I will give you a story of his life and some mysterious things he did. Babalola was born of on the 25th of April 1904 at Odo-Owa,Ilofa, in present day Ekiti Local Government Areas of Kwara State in Nigeria to a God fearing couple named Pa David Lawani Rotimi and Madam Martha Talabi Rotimi. His father was a devout Christian according to those who knew and lived with him as he founded the CMS church at Ilofa/Odo-Owa and sixteen other towns. He was brought up as an Anglican. He was registered at an elementary school at Oto-Awori near Badagry in present day Lagos State where he moved to with his uncle Oshobo in present day Osun State where he was educated to standard four, before he became Blacksmith apprentice for two years, proceeding to became a Steamroller Operator under P W D (Public Works Department), then under the control of the whites, learning to become a Steamroller Driver. After 15 days of learning how to drive the caterpillar, he was able to drive it without any assistance. After nine months; he became a master in his class. A Steamroller was first given to him on 1st April 1928 to work on the Osogbo – Ilesha road.On June 14th 1928 he was transferred to Akure – Ilesha road .According to him, On the 9th of October 1928 about 12.00 noon he was by his Steamrollerby the river Ariran, it was here he heard a loud voice from above like the roar of thunder which called him from above saying "Joseph Babalola" , leave this job you are doing, if you do not leave this year you shall be cut off from the Earth. He asked the workers under him whether they heard a voice but they said no. According to him again exactly the same time the next day , the voice called to him likewise. The voice shouted on him to leave that place but he ignored it . He ordered one of his assistants to start the Steamroller , then the roller caught fire. He immediately put in his resignation and went home.According to him on entering his house the voice called to him again telling him to fast for six days and pray 120 times which he faithfully did As he slept that night , an angel entered into his room like lightning and began to talk to him. Then the angel told him to put off the light inside the room which he immediately did. Thereafter a brighter light completely different from any other lighted the whole room. The angel told him not to taste any manner of food for six days that the Lord Jesus Christ wants to send him with some important works to various towns. The angel told him that he was the one who had been talking to him on the road when he was driving and that he would have died if he had refused to hearken to his instructions. That is how he received the call and he went into series of fasting and prayer , all the while he was in Ipetu-Ijesha a town in present day Oriade local government area of Osun State .During this period of fasting and prayers , he received lots of revelations which formed the basis of the way he operated in his ministry. During this period he also visited many towns and villages based on the Lords guidance where he preached the message of healing and deliverance to the people. He was specifically instructed by God to heal the sick through water which he prayed into. However for a period of six months he still maintained a strict regime of prayer and fasting. The watershed in his early ministry came when when he was commanded by God to go to his hometown to warn his people against Idolatry , fetish practices and evil works. According to him : The Spirit told me to go to my hometown , where I was born. The Lord said I should rub my face with ashes and to carry palm leaves in my hand and to buy a bell, which I was to be ringing the moment I entered the town and I obeyed. The voice told me to tell my people that unless they repented , evil beasts would enter the town to destroy them. On that same day I entered the town with a bell in my hand. The entire town was moved and there was great stir and consternation as people fled as they saw me. The moment they set eyes on me they fled. The Voice told me to ring the bell in my hand round the town and I obeyed. His people however refused to repent or change their ways they instead summarily beat him up and his family was subjected to heavy persecution by the people of the town. In defense against the prophesied invasion of the town by wild beasts the people of the town armed themselves with Guns and Cutlasses. However God told His Servant to tell them he would not bring beasts again but instead would bring epidemics and it would start within forty- five days. At the expiration of the prophesied forty-five days and epidermic of small pox broke out and within 3 weeks about 300 persons had died. But those who repented and those who came to the man of god after contracting the disease were spared. Ministry & Healing The revival of his mission began with the raising of a dead child in September 1930. What followed this in 3 weeks was the healing of about 100 lepers,60 blind people and 50 lame persons. This also resulted in the desolation of Churches in Ilesa because their members transferred their allegiance to the revivalist and that all the patients in Wesley Hospital, Ilesa, abandoned their beds to seek healing from Babalola. This divinely kicked off The Great Revival of 1930, which saw people coming from most parts of Africa and diaspora without posters and TV adverts. From then on, with bell and Yoruba Bible in hand, he toured Yorubaland and eastern Nigeria, preaching about repentance, and renunciation of idolatry, the importance of prayer and fasting, and the power of God to heal sickness. In 1930 Faith Tabernacle affiliated with the British Apostolic Church. Then following a schism in the Apostolic Church about 1940, Bablola went with a new independent church, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), where he continued his healing and revivalistic activities until his death. The CAC regards Babalola as an apostle and his revival ministry as the beginning of the church. A CAC retreat center was built at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State where Babalola was first called in 1928. The Christ Apostolic Church has not died along with Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola in 1959. As a matter of fact it has grown rapidly over the years, with many churches under the Christ Apostolic Church name but each church with a specific branch name. The Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) a private Ikeji-Arakeji in Osun State, established by the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide is named after him, located at the place where he says he was called by God in 1928. Mysteries and Mysteries 1 The Mysterious Tree of Usi Ekiti: This was a tree in a Forest believed to be inhabited by evil spirits and it was in this forest a land was given to him for his revival campaign. This tree had been cut many times but it stood again as if nothing hd been done to it,however the Apostke went to the tree rand his bell and prayed on the tree and it was cut down forever. 2 The terrible gods of Ifira :There was a god called " egule" worshipped in the Isowo Quarters of the town . THis god was soo ruthless that no man dares point a finger at it to call attention to it as such acts led to forfeiture offingers or death. It is said that a big python coiled around the pot on which the god was placed. This god was situate on a bushy hill and no one dares goes there for fear of being harmed by the god or the python guarding it. When the Apostle got to this town he requested to visit the hill of this god. People were concerned for his safety but he insisted , then people from neighboring towns and villages came to see what was going to happen. All he took was his bell and his staff and he went to the hill with people watching him. Immediately he sited this god and its python he started ringing his bell as he moved towards it. and immediately the pot on which the god stood broke into pieces and the god hen the snake fled , when people saw this they statred singing and rejoicing and the people beheld the Python and trampled it till it died and the people abandoned the Idols for God. other istances of include : The Forbidden forest of EFON ALAAYE , Deliverance of Oke Luse(Ondo State) from Elephants, The case of Isua , Idols jumping out of fire while they are being burnt etc A lot has to be done to document the many great works of this man of God. There are many DIVINE INSIGHTS of his that are too deep to fathom and I will release these at a latter time. These include: -WHAT REALLY HAPPENED AT CREATION? - THE PECULIAR GIFT OF THE BLACK RACE - THE MYSTERY OF KOLA NUTS AND TOBACCO? - THE PROPHETIC HISTORY OF ILESHA AND EFON - ALAYE EYC PROPHET JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA(25 APRIL 1904 - 26 JULY 1959) MAY GOD RAISE MORE MEN LIKE HIM.
