It is a good book because it is quoted in the Bible. Book of Enoch is referred to in : Jude 4,6,13,14–15, 2 Peter 2:4;3:13. |

RedCapChief: @op, don't let anybody make you feel guilty for heeding the instruction of your senior. I have been a house officer and I understand a bit of the dynamics of government practice. The fact that we deal with human life makes everything so sentimental so people will call you all sorts of names and ask you to lose your job. I have seen where the doctor is ready to work, but the nurses refuse to bring out the instruments because they are on strike. You can't disobey your senior. It is just like a military service system.
Besides, can you guarantee that you would have been able to save the woman's life? No law stops you from giving first-aid but can you continue to give the required care? You were not negligent in your duty.
It is a pity that we live in a country with a messed-up health system and you have to pay out of pocket for the most basic kind of healthcare. There is no social fund for accident victims in hospitals so anybody who is mad at you can go down to the nearest hospital and make a donation.
Many of the people criticizing you for not spending your money have never donated a single vial of normal saline (150 naira) or iv cannula (200 naira) to any government hospital. Just continue to do your best within your limits. Nigeria will be better soon
PLEASE WHAT CAN I DONATE TO AN HOSPITAL ? I JUST WANT TO DO MY PART IN MY OWN LITTLE WAY. |

Education › Re: Poor Grades In School: Come To My Aid Nlders, I Need Your Advice by rocoh(m): 5:00pm On Dec 11, 2015 |
AmNotADullard: Good day Nairalanders, the time I started writing this is 3:22am, whether am a popular NLder or not doesn't matter, but I would like to Conceal my identity. These would be a bit long, because I would want to explain all what is happening and has been happening to me concerning my education.
I am from the eastern part of Nigeria, and school somewhere in the south, part of the top 10 universities in Nigeria. Back in my, Primary and Junior secondary school, I was extremely brilliant, always part of first 3, a lot of times I was 1st in class and best overall. Even my junior waec, I was so happy, people were happy for me.
The problem started in my secondary school, I noticed I started dropping, my 2nd term in SS1, I was 21/23 in class, same school, same class mates. I thought maybe I had started playing to much, so I stopped all what I figured out could be the problem, yet there was no solution, my parents got me private teachers for my core subjects. Once they are with me, I would understand what they teach me, when they leave, I don't slack, I continue reading and reading, when exam comes, it would seem like I wasn't the one who read. A day before the exam, it would be fresh in my head and when I even write the exam, my mind would be like "you have killed it" My parents would ask how it was, my reply would be: "yes, it was perfect, expecting the perfect result".
When I see my result, I would as usual fail virtually everything. Still, I managed to go/forge ahead, I was able to pass my WASSCE in one sitting, how I did that I don't know, not that I passed outstandingly, I only had 'credit' in all the subject I was expect to have grade 'C'.
Then the hustle for Jamb came, let it be known that I wrote jamb 5 times, and the 5th time was when I got admitted to my school of choice.
Currently in my 200level, we resumed a new session about 2months ago. Now to what caused dis write up.
My first semester of 100level result: C, F, A, D, D.
A terrible result for someone in 100level, yes, I know. I felt too relaxed first semester, played a lot. I determined that 2nd semester would be better, not that I was expecting all A's but I didn't want any F. So my whole 2nd semester was reading all through, I read to the extent that I started feeling sure I should have A's in at least 3 out of 6 courses.
But when the result came in, it was worse than my first semester without me playing or getting distracted, My 2nd semester of 100level result: C, F, C, E, C,F
And now 200level has kicked off, but something is happening to me.
I don't think I can survive this anymore, My parents don't have money, my dad is struggling to send us to school. None of my siblings work, I have been contemplating different means of ending my life, I move about with shame, I don't sleep anymore, I can't get my head straight, I would stay awake all night crying and praying for a change in my academic life.
I have done all what I think I can humanly do, hence why the thought of taking my life, I know I can't create a life, but of what use is one that doesn't seem to make people happy? But then, I decided to come on here, to ask if there is something else in reading I am not doing apart from, reading.... I have applied all the reading techniques applicable, jot while reading, revise, ask myself questions, and all. But still after exam, I don't seem to have that desired result, I have prayed countless times.
By my side is a chemical I got when I discovered I had 2f's. Education, they say is the best legacy. But in my case it isn't sure if it would be, I am a business oriented person, but no money to even establish myself, so that's not an option, please Nairalanders, I don't wish to Take my life, please is there anything you can suggest to me other than suicide and constant reading and prayers. I am 22years of age. God bless. got to MFM PRAYER CITY FOR DELIVERANCE |

We do not know who will be alive to witness 2015. “The truth is, 2015 is really not my business and it is politically irresponsible for people to be talking about 2015.” “No, no, no!! Boko Haram is not as a result of misrule; definitely not. Sometimes people say it is as a result of poverty; definitely not. Boko Haram is a local terror group,” he said in an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in 2013.
“Over 70% of what are called corruption (cases), even by EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) and other anti-corruption agencies, is not corruption, but common stealing,” he said during a presidential media chat. “Whether we are Muslims or Christians; rich or poor; from the north or the south; east or west; regardless of our political affiliations. This is a time to pull together,” on the 53rd anniversary of Nigeria’s independence.

One man, one vote! One woman, one vote! One youth, one vote!” “Nobody should rig for me. I am assuring Nigerians that though I am contesting, nobody must manipulate votes in my favour. Our votes must count.” “I congratulate the candidates of the other political parties.
I regard them not as opponents, but as partners.” “In presenting myself for service, I make no pretence that I have a magic wand that will solve all of Nigeria’s problems or that I am the most intelligent Nigerian.” “I have come to launch a campaign of ideas, not one of calumny. I have come to preach love, not hate. I have come to break you away from divisive tendencies of the past, which have slowed our drive to true nationhood.
I have no enemies to fight. You are all my friends and we share a common destiny.” “Democracy calls for sacrifice and tolerance, an open ear and a strong voice.” “For the PDP family, the contest for party offices does not produce winners and losers.” “I believe in the politics of give and take.” “Separation of power is not separation of government.” “I am happy that the black man has put the shame of dispossession behind him and is moving on” “The dark patches in the Niger Delta will give way to light.” “On the football field, nobody cares who scores for Nigeria.
You can be a Musa or a Moses; you can be a Christopher or a Mustapha, nobody cares.” “We have a duty to stand firm against those who threaten the sovereign integrity of the Nigerian state. Our will is strong, because our faith lies in the indivisibility of Nigeria.” “Nigerians are peace-loving people; these sad events perpetrated by those who do not wish our nation well have not changed the essential character of our people.” “No matter what it takes, we will win this war against terror.” “Africa must declare an end to the era of self-inflicted wars and conflicts.”

“As we strive to advance our democratic development, there will be times when our will shall be tested, our patience provoked and our belief questioned.” “The beauty of democracy is that its practice is never final and always has room for improvement no matter how old a democratic society may be. Where we falter we must not fall. When we are weak, we must not surrender.” “Our first responsibility as citizens is to use the ballot.” “We are gradually reducing the footprints of government in business activities through privatisation, liberalisation and deregulation based on our recognition that the private sector should be the engine of growth in our economy.”

Your Excellency,
There are few leaders in Africa willing to sacrifice their ambition for the good of their country men you are one of them
Those who accused you of cluelessnesss are today taking selfies at the Auto plants and with made Made in Nigeria vehicles a dividend of your auto policy.
Those who said your administration lack direction when it established 11 brand new universities 9 of them In Northern Nigeria are currently clueless as to how to implement a simple school feeling program for primary school children.
Those who insulted you and insisted that the Petroleum subsidy program was a scam just approved a 0.5 Trillion naira subsidy scam payment
The professor who claimed your successor will definitely bring fuel pump to = 40 have suddenly gone deaf and dumb while fuel prize is currently cruising around 600 naira in some cities
Those who claimed the presidential Air fleet was too large and a complete waste of resources have spent over 5 billion naira in just 6 months fuelling the fleet and junketing from one continent to another without any thing to show for it
Those who claimed you were heading to Chad to plan more attacks on us were the first to visit Chad after you left.
Your agricultural policies which yielded a lot of dividend is the next achievement your adversaries are planning to appropriate to themselves
When the Treasury Single Account was been hailed as a super invention they concealed your name and in scripted theirs, immediately it had little issues they dumped it on you, tomorrow they will claim IPPIS
They said you lacked the political will to fight insurgency yet most if all the LGA'S you reclaimed and handed over to them have been lost with unimaginable loss of lives
They said you were not a soldier and therefore lack the military capacity to lead the fight. Sir those who promised to lead the fight from the front have been dishing out orders from the safety of the bedroom of their wives
You left us with one of the fastest growing economy according to CNN, however those who said Nigeria was mismanaged under you have superintendent over the highest job losses and economic depreciation in the History of our great Nation.
You said your ambition was not worth the blood of a single Nigerian you proved it by your actions.

When i couldn't secure a job after service for two years, i swallowed my pride and turned myself to a printing apprentice at the age of thirty, but getting a space and works has been so difficult after graduating from this few months ago.
I've visited some pastors and alfas and they all asked me to bring some money for deliverance and freedom from satanic bondage, because they would have to invite some prayer warriors as they can't do it alone, the least they asked me is 14k and the highest is 75k, where on earth do they expect me to get that kind of money, and this sometimes, makes me ask myself whether true men of God still exist in this country.
Although, someone told me to go to Ori-Oke Baba Abiye in Ede, Osun State, but i'm so tired of visiting all these so called pastors and alfas (God forgive me).
I do see some signs in my life which makes me believe that i really need deliverance for me to have a breakthrough in my life. If you know any true man/woman of God, pls help me i beg, as the year is gradually coming to an end, and may God bless you as you do so, thanks a lot. Bros don't waste your money go to MFM Prayer City for deliverance It's free of charge. All you pay for is your lodging. You are not paying anybody and the God of Olukoya will see you through. |

I belong to the school of thought which believes that no culture is superior , but every culture is a reflection of the adaptation of a people to their unique environment. I hate tribes being referred to as minority in their own country. The word Minority should become Anathema to us. Instead of calling people minority , the words Widely Dispersed and Non Widely Dispersed tribes should be used, this is less offensive in my own reasoning. If to say na only my tribe dey Nigeria (in tuface voice) there will be no Edio(Urhobo) , no Chidinma(igbo), no Omeiza(Igbirra), no hausa, no ejagham, no edo , no Angas, no Igala, no Idoma , no Jukun, No Gwari , No Dakakari ,no Langtang ...... the list is endless.
