Honestly bro, when you fall you go know who really get your back. I'm in a similar situation at the moment, although I came back because my contract expired and uae stopped issuing visa to Nigerians so I couldn't renew. My story dey one kind because e just be like I go waste my time for that way, over 2m I saved, I used it to invest in naija but the business crumbled within some months and i lost a lot, I was still in uae when I gave someone money to invest in that business sha and I regret it till this moment. I didn't plan to come back now, I wanted to stay for 2 more years so I can save more, unfortunately the visa issue happened. Came back like a month ago, naija is boring af and worse still if you no get money. Nobody send me again, even those wey I dn help alot in the past, well nobody owe me anything sha. I hope I don't fall into depression at this point because help is not forth coming but I believe as life dey, hope dey.

I've thought about the whole thing, I think I'll just go get some needed rest back home then come back by January with a freelancer visa (2 years personal visa) since they still issue that one to us. May God help us, e no easy for this side but at least e better pass naija.

I'm about to be a victim of this "ban of employment visa for Nigerians", I just finished my contract last month, they have tried to apply for renewal twice and it was denied.. I dey grace period like this, after working here for more than 4 years, na like this uae wan treat me.. Well, I'll be back home soon, make I rest for some time before making another move..

Same thing happened to me last year January, I used my Samsung S7 edge to take pictures inside a pool, cus I felt it's water resistant. After like 2 minutes, the phone just off, I try to power am, e later on come dey show me"safe mode". A residence is same thing as an emirates ID card.. The emirates ID card is just a means of identification to show you have a residence permit..

As for the other question, yes you can leave the job after about 6months to 1year hence you get a better offer elsewhere
