Politics › Court Declares Removal Of Ex-kogi Deputy Governor Illegal by rolams(op): 3:54pm On Feb 27, 2020
State High Court IV sitting in Lokoja has declared the impeachment of Elder Simon Achuba as Kogi State Deputy Governor illegal and unconstitutional.

Justice John Olorunfemi made the declaration in a ruling he delivered in the case filed by Achuba against the Kogi State House of Assembly and others over his impeachment in October 2019.

The former deputy governor was impeached after he accused Governor Yahaya Bello of withholding his salaries and attempting to kill him.

The Governor, however, denied the allegations.

Supreme Court won't reverse any judgement. They used Bayelsa, which even an illiterate knows was an obvious win for PDP, to state their position of IRREVERSIBILITY
Bayelsa case is different. Similarly cases have occurred before.

I hope u read the judgement yesterday. They won't even bother to look at it. The Supreme Court judgement is final.no matter how bad.it can make amend in another case.but not on the same case. That is the reality
Read the first paragraph, it says no error was made in the earlier judgement. That lead to the other reasons gave by the other judges. Remember, the judges gave individual verdict.

If IMO judgement stands, then there will be very big problem in election matter.

Judeerons32:
Ok. I guess democracy will be in danger if the wish of PDP is not granted. Lol.
Honestly even if the supreme court observes flaws in its judgement it cannot reverse itself in the same case. That will be done in future case.
Reversing it self in the same case will open a flood gate it cannot control.
That essentially was the reason for Bayelsa today. PDP is just amusing us as usual with its conspiracy theories.
There is no error in Bayelsa judgement. The certificates are different. So, why do you think the judgement will be reversed.

As for IMO, the supreme court made a lot of mistakes and if the judgement stands many election fraud will occur. Politicians will have the gut to write results for cancelled polling units and give to police to present in court. Again, accredited voters, collected PVC and number of votes cast won't matter in determining the winner. Just to declare the highest number.
Sports › Arsenal Legend Thierry Henry Explains Why He Gets Tired Watching Liverpool by rolams(op): 4:30pm On Feb 26, 2020
Thierry Henry, who was a part of the Arsenal side that went an entire season unbeaten in 2004, has spoken out on Liverpool's 'heavy metal, Gegenpressing football'

Thierry Henry says he gets tired just watching Liverpool because they move to the ball so quickly and play with such intensity.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds have taken the Premier League by storm this season with their heavy metal, Gegenpressing football.

As things stand, Liverpool are 19 points clear at the top of the table, and well on their way to winning a first top-flight title since 1990.

Arsenal legend Henry was part of the Invincibles team that won the league without suffering defeat over the course of the campaign in 2004.

Liverpool are on course to do the same this season, and Henry has heaped praise on the way in which Klopp's men move so quickly.

"The intensity, the rhythm that you have in the Premier League, it's very high," Henry told French television channel Canal Plus.

"You see, when you watch Liverpool, even just watching them, you get tired. They move so quickly.

"When you go to Manchester City, before you have even looked up, there is pressing on you. If you control the ball, there are already three guys around you.

"The Premier League's intensity is immense."
