We really have different desires. My mum wanted to have a girl child so much and in the process of trying had 5 boys. The thing is, no one on earth can help u have a male child if u try again. So there's still a chance of having a third female child. So since u and ur husband have decided to have just two children , why don't you just focus on training them up to become responsible women who would lead great lives? Put them in great schools and care for them. Honestly, this desire of yours is a little petty if u want the truth ,and you're about to allow it destroy you and your marriage. |

sweatlana: This is business we are talking about here. I'm not saying he should lie but rather her should focus on our merits. Haven't u noticed that this is becoming a trend with pmb? Whenever he travels abroad he's always talking about our economic woes. That won't help us at all. Recently some news outlets published that Britain is no longer a world power. The British aggressively put out evidence to counter that statement, today China is set to invest hundreds of billions of pounds in the British economy. That is how business is done. However in reality everyone knows that Britain has nothing except for it's has been status..... I understand you. But PMB is just 5 months into his administration. This is not the time to be displaying our merits. Nigeria is in shambles and in need of help soon. He has to take steps to save the country and help us stand before he can then start displaying our merits. Our economy is in woes. We cannot lie about that. And don't compare us to the UK. We are a very undeveloped economy. It wud amount to pride if we hide our problems which are so many and be displaying our merits . we would be deceiving ourselves. Besides governance is not business. Its a serious issue because lives are at stake. |

sweatlana: Confused man.... WHY is he telling such vital information about Nigeria to Indian
Washing our dirty linen in public. Instead of him to portray Nigeria as a good country to invest in, he is telling the world we are broke.
NOBODY WILL INVEST IN A BROKE ECONOMICALLY CRIPPLED COUNTRY!!! NO matter the potential. buhari should stop begging for handouts and put nigerias best foot forward. These are investors not charity organisation!!! But you have to tell the truth in order to receive help na. There's no need pretending all is well with Nigeria and lying about it to drag investors in. Investors don't need the President to speak to know the state of Nigeria. They know already. It isn't hidden. So its better to be honest and humble and seek help and people would help you. I don't disagree with what PMB said. This is change. Enough of going abroad to lie that power is in constant supply when in Nigeria we are in darkness. |

momentum85: Who knows where to tour next. For God's sake Baba! Less ur travelling, concentrate and work so that our economy 'll stabilise again. Our economy is collapsing and he is touring round d world. Nigerians and their level of thinking. You want him to stabilise the economy and it didn't occur to you that the best way is to keep going out to seek advice from other economies that are winning on how they achieved theirs? You think its by staying put in Nigeria that he would magically know how to stabilise the economy. We have so many people in this country especially youths who have no idea what leadership is all about. And they wud be the ones screaming that youths are not given opportunity to lead when they know nothing. |

seunmsg: Good decision to ban all sorts of prayers in public and private schools. They are highly unnecessary and at best are mere distractions. Anybody that feels prayer is important should pray at home before coming to school.
On the other hand, am not in support of the decision that all teachers must be in suit during office hours. We should be promoting our cultural attire and not foreign ones. Cross river is the headquarters of culture and tourism in Nigeria and teachers and public servants there should be encouraged to put on attires that reflect the culture of the people. Isn't it shameful that you agree with banning prayers in assemblies but refuse teachers wearing suits ? Which of them is more grevious? Prayers in assemblies if at all teaches children one thing that before you put your hands to do your work for the day, commit it first into God hands and trust him. |

mrvitalis: This is a very wonderful news..... Stop making this kids believe that u can pray ur way out of poverty. There's only one truth and that truth is the bible. You can pray your way out of poverty . As the bible says, except God watch over a city, the watchman watches but in vain. And also, the race isn't to the swift, neither the battle to the strong but time and chance happens to them all. And also, it is the goodness of God that gives us all good things to enjoy. And also, all good things cometh from the father of light. And also, it is the grace of God that giveth the power to make wealth. And finally it also says, if ye be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land and have good success. Let Gods word speak and let all men be silent. True God requires hardwork, but for hardwork to produce success for you depends exclusively , totally, infallibly and completely on God, the father of Jesus Christ. |

With all the women Jonathan packed in his government, what did it benefit the country? Is it the 13 billion pounds - theft Diezani or the allegedly very corrupt Okonjo oweala , or the Stella Oduah who spent public funds procuring two armoured vehicles? True governance has nothing to do with which gender is in power. What is more important is the personality and capabilities of the persons brought into power. Nigerians and their terrible unnecessary sentiments is what is killing them. |

herald9: When I read about some drugs having side effects, I always dismiss such info until I swallowed half a card of 'CIPROTAB' in order to fight off a deadly blow from malaria allied with typhoid fever. What my body is undergoing now can only be imagined...
Dews are settling every now and then on my forehead. It seems a new salty spring have suddenly burst out of my throat cause this volume of spittle rushing into my mouth per second is baffling, bewildering, bemusing and mystifying. The worst thing is I can't coup them back cause the salinity seem higher than what my system really needs. So now you can picture a pregnant woman's favourite sport and picture me!
I bade farewell to sleep three days ago. Well, at least I can read for my ongoing exams instead of lazily dozing... for where? It looks like those feudal worms in my stomach have been constantly at war ever since I took those drugs; I can feel some some hot canon balls being projected from the left 'wing' of my intestines to the right.
Even me wey been dey score multiple hat-tricks when having a serious match with BEANS have now become a spectator!
Erm... What's that going on in my head? Is someone rearranging my brains?!! (grabs head)
Whenever I get out of this dilemma; I and my family shall never consume any drug with letter "C"....
Not even Vitamin C!
Signed: Herald9
Other side effects are: Dizziness Restlessness Weakness of joints Dehydration Sweating, etc.
Drugs should be made to cure ills, not after curing the ills you start battling with the drug. It's not fair!
Have you ever had any side effects when taking drugs? How did you overcome it? Please share.
Lalasticlala can you endorse this, please? Nigerians and their terrible habit of self diagnosis and medication. How did you know you had malaria and typhoid? You then proceeded to take an antimalarial and an antibiotic....ciprofloxacin for that matter. This is wrong. Apart from the side effects which may occur, you may develop resistance against this cipro esp since there was no need for it , causing it not to work for you next time when you actually do need it. Pls next time, visit a doctor before swallowing pills. When u have symptoms that suggest malaria, take paracetamol and then visit a health centre. Don't take just any drug u like. It can harm you and even take ur life. Be warned. |

HungerBAD: Everyday, when i read about what people do, i start to lose faith in humanity.
So, presenting him with a stolen baby would have made him pay your bride price?women with desperation for husband's all over the World, is starting to take a very dangerous dimension now.
Lets even start with the man. She left you in June, with a flat stomach. And then came back in September with a Baby?and you somehow thought the baby was yours?conceived, delivered and brought to you the father in 4 Months?this guy is not telling the Police the truth, as something tells me he knows more than what he is letting on.
I am not a Religious person, but i know that even in the Bible, Jesus stayed in Mary's Stomach for 9 Months. If there is a Baby that should have been born in 4 Months, that person would have been Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and that is why i am puzzled as to why the man did not ask her HOW YOU WAKA?
At the end of the day, she the thief is a Victim/Product of an harsh Society. An Orphan, no relatives, no Education, no Trade and all she wishes for in her life, is to have somebody to call her husband.
But, hold on.
If she has no relative, who is the guy suppose to pay the Bride Price to then? the story does not add up, and now the pity i was starting to feel for her has just disappeared again. You are rily intelligent the way you analysed the situation in very simple format. |

In most cases, the maid hawks, cook, clean house, do the laundry and other unmentionable household chores while madam sits her lazy fat àss gossiping around. Heck in most cases these maids get sexually molested by the Oga and children and at the end what do they get? Constant abuse, being starved of food for minor/excusable mistakes and kicked around.
