Nairaland / General / Re: Lagos Is Overhyped, Akwa Ibom Is Underrated. by Rolexjerry(m): 8:51pm On Jun 13, 2021 |
rottennaija:Lagos' contribution to FG is insignificant when compared to Akwa Ibom's oil-based contribution. Don't forget that over 80% of Nigeria's economy is funded by crude oil sales and Akwa Ibom is by far the highest producer of crude oil in Nigeria. What Lagos contributes to FG in a month, Akwa Ibom contributes same in just a day. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Ngige: South East, Not Marginalised by Rolexjerry(m): 8:39pm On Jun 13, 2021 |
AMINDA:What projects? Na project person go chop? Na you compare the two in terms of cost of living of the people of South-East? No matter how you try to repaint it, Buhari remains a Nepotist. Can you compare the number of appointments given to Northerners as a whole with that given to Southerners irrespective of the zone? |

bunto:Chai! This country should be divided I swear. I cannot be sharing a country with people like you that believe Buhari is better than Ngozi Iweala even after witnessing the hardship we are facing in this administration. Cost of living skyrocketing, a bag of rice in Nigeria is currently more expensive than the average Nigerian's salary. Trust me, the leaders are not our problem in this country. Zombies like you are our problem. How dare you even mention both names in a sentence, it's an abomination. One is an air-headed, illiterate Fulani terrorist who is a subject of mockery the worldover, the other is a well-respected Havard-trained economy expert with proven track records as two-time minister of finance. During her first term as Finance Minister in the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo, she spearheaded negotiations with the Paris Club that led to the wiping out of US$30 billion of Nigeria's debt, including the outright cancellation of US$18 billion. During her time as Finance Minister, Nigeria's GDP grew to over half a trillion dollar. Life was easy, cost of living was better. Today, our GDP is nothing to write home about. Since you really love Buhari that much, may God handle your life the way he's handling this country. |

These are the kind of people we need to rule this country for it to move forward. Not an illiterate Fulani man that cannot even pronounce words clearly on television. 1 Like |

Coronabirus:So your only evidence is something that was possibly written someone against the Jonathan administration. The article even said minimum casualty was just 150 but you didn't see that one. You only saw the maximum because your heart is full of hate for anything good and right. If you were around during the days of Jesus, you'd be among the people that crucified him. |

Coronabirus:I'm not surprised by this your post at all, afterall it's made by a zombie. What surprises me is that 4 people actually liked it which I guess are your co-zombies. How can 2000 people be killed in a day? Na war? Even in some war situations, it doesn't reach those figures. How dare you even mention GEJ and this devil in one sentence. Since you really love this administration that much, may God manage your life the way Buhari is managing Nigeria. Spits... |

Akwa Ibom State is Nigeria's most important contributor economically but the media prefers to talk about Lagos. AKS alone contributes over ₦380 billion PER MONTH and over 4 trillion Naira per year to the Nigerian economy in the sales of over one hundred and eighty million barrels of crude oil at an average price of 65 dollars per barrel. Lagos contributions does not even come close. |
