This is simple whether insecurities are involved or not......Poster, you don't want your wife to talk to her ex "ever" again, tell her and stop insinuating things that are not there, I know myself and trust that, no matter what the "ex" has changed himself to, i respect my hubby and respect my son to the extent of not letting anyone bribe me with "london documents" to sleep with him or her.

We have a woman on this thread, whose present husband housed her ex, when he was really ill, and she was taking care of the ex, and am sure the hubby for no reason thought that the wife is/was having an affair with the ex.

You said it yourself that they broke up on a very bad term, and should not expect your wife in her right senses to decend so low, into having an affair with him...when you trust someone, you let them make decisions themeselves and see where the decision takes them.

I feel you do not trust her one bit and that is why his wishing her a happy birthday has turned so sour in your stomach....but you know her better, hence your apprehension.

Family / Re: I Am Pissed Off With My Wife Completely by ronkebp(f): 11:49pm On Aug 29, 2012
At poster....you are angry that your wife's ex wished her a "happy birthday"??

All i see around is insecurities, high and low.....you said your self she broke up with the guy 3 years before your marraige, and you think she will be dating him out of "frustration" since you have lost your job? is it because the guy is in London that this insecurities rose from level 2 to 20.....

You obviously do not trust your wife, you said she has "bleeped up the marraige"? in what sense? because the ex wished her "happy birthday"

Since you don't want her to talk to her ex at all...tell her, and better be ready not to have any form of conversations with your former exes, at least, lead by example.
Family / Re: Should I Forgive Her by ronkebp(f): 9:45pm On Aug 28, 2012
Lol....this is so funny and yet i feel for the poster....

1. i don't get it, not that i want to judge the lady....but really she has different news at different times to unleash.

2. relationship since 2006, that means it is 6 years already..isn't that too long?, the lady must have found your relationship boring that was why she decided to have fun....

3.Keeping it secret and forgiving her is upto you...no one can advice you on that, but i feel she has taken the feelings you have for her and your relationship for granted.

Health / Re: Daily Exercise And Food Routine For Those Who Want To Lose Weight by ronkebp(f): 4:02pm On Aug 28, 2012
^^^^ You too dear...

@ Taitee, i indulge alot too, infact i eat cakes and all what not...but i reduce it to the smallest quantity and at the back of my mind, i am always counting the calories, i count everything i eat and drink, i look at the labels, my friends call me crazy....but i love it.

Logs for today
30 minutes cardio kikboxing with Violet Zaki...just repeated the same workout from yesterday....and added 200 jump ropes, with a 3 minutes yoga stretch for the cool-down...loved it.
breakfast...had toasted croissant and butter with a cup of coffee(500 calories), not sure what my lunch would be yet....but i am sure no dinner for me or a cup of non-fat yoghurt (140 calories) will do it.

@ HG, my dear, it happens ooo, sometimes the morale is just too low to do any exercise, but i think that is the way the body tells us that it needs to rest too.

taitee: emmm ashamed of my logs
after d brkfast,of swallow n egusi grin grin
snack was one tin like dat like meatroll sha
lunch: fried rice n chiken
dinner:garri n grndnut
post dinner: watermelon
went to shop so was on my feet for a while...
.........do u tink i ate 2 much......calorie counting specialists pls help
some pple av bin absent o whr art thou?

Lol...you are funny, everything you ate, depending on the quantity will be around 1800-2000 calories.....that is not bad because it is part of the required quantiti, i said aboput 2000 because, lets do the breakdown
Egusi soup....with meat and oil used with salt and maggi...will be around 400-600 calories
the morsel ...lets say 200 calories

Fried rice and chicken --that i will say, another 700 calories..
ground nut, 6 pieces is about 70 calories, so assuming you have 42 pieces, so that will be 490 calories on in it's own
gari...lets say 150....
the water melon should be around 70 calories....And this is just an estimation, not the accurate calorie count.

So when you exercise you can burn between 350 - 500 calories depending on the workout chosen.

coogar:

there should be a boxing match between the father of the girl that was slapped and the husband of the wife that slapped the little girl!

the truth is, if any man/woman touches my child, he/she is dead as a corpse!!!
i would go to any length to destroy such person....no individual has the right to touch my child without my consent!

It just means train your child yourself and bring him/her up with the little resources you have and nobody will have the audacity to unleash any form of slap over their lovely cheeks. wink

Family / Re: Coping With A Beautiful, Loving, Helpful But A Nagging-Wife? by ronkebp(f): 4:09pm On Aug 27, 2012
stillme: Love is the key in every relationship. And love they say,can overcome issues arising from misunderstanding in a relationship. Though some relationships are just like moving mountain, but to me separation is not always the solution.
In relationship where one's wife is beautiful, helpful and adorable but nags at every issues. How can one cope with a nagging wife or what are the behavior/character one must develop to be able cope with such wife.

what is your definition of nagging? what are her reasons for "complaining"? because i have noticed most men will equate complaints with nagging, and there is no way you will live with another person entirely and not have various complaints.

Not always true. Both my primary school and secondary school had a non caning policy. Both schools were in Nigeria and I am no spring chicken so these schools have been around for years and are still one of the best schools in the state. I believe that kids are not born bad and if caught very early on, there are many ways to discipline a kid and to lead them on the right track.

My school (secondary school though) had/ still have so many different punnishments including beating, and digging pits, it depends on the one the punnisher decides to use and the gravity of the offense.

Ask her if she directs her anger at SS1-3 boys who are already bigger and stronger than her or the frail girls and boys under 12.

At SS1 age 13 I was already like 6ft1 and definitely no teacher touched me. Even one day when they wanted to beat the whole class, they left me alone an the teacher said I should come to the staff room for my own punishment cos I was the ring leader.

The punishment I am still waiting for till today

Dongo-yaro, kena!!!!!

Instead of some people to mind their own business, they are busy trying to analyse another individual's behavioural pattern.. really?
