jennykadry:

I don't understand this post of yours. Why should an ex be ringing at 8pm when he knows she is married? Ronke, how many times does your ex ring your mobile phone? Stop making excuses for her. What is a married woman doing answering calls from her ex boyfriends at night no matter what time it is? why should he trust her? let her go and cheat now, infact she is even cheating on him already. You think cheating is only when you open your legs and get fcked? a man has told his wife that he hates her receiving calls from ex's but she has refused to listen.

I would have sent this woman back to her father's house a long time ago. This is an insult to her husband and her marriage. What do you think these men will think? answering their calls even at night and she is supposed to be in her husband's house? even these men have no iota of respect for this man whatsoever and the foolish wife is the cause of all these.

If she is not ready for marriage why did she open legs and get pregnant? shouldn't she be minding her books whilst at the same time closing her legs. I have said this before that once an adult starts opening legs, that person should be ready to deal with situations that might arise as a result of that.

This woman is in the wrong here and it is only fair for us women that preach against abuse( emotional or physical)to use the same fingers we accuse this men with on the women as well. If a man did half of what this woman has done, some of us would have been practicing jackie chan on this thread. Women, aren't we all complicated? undecided

I won't judge her by what her husband has said, some men can be over-protective, how did the man know that the callers where her ex-es? how did he know? how many of her ex did he know when they were dating talkmore of now that they are married? it is easy to jump to unnecessary conclusions, if there is anything i have learnt on this NL, is atimes, wait for the other partner's post. we know how the age difference atimes can intimidate some men or some women, he married a very young woman and such a woman if she is prety will still turn heads. I don't know who calls her ooo, but i am certain to an extent it has nothing to do with her ex.
Politics / Re: Am I The Only One Who Simply Can't Identify Her Talent? by ronkebp(f): 10:07am On Sep 26, 2012
What do you love to do most and are good at? that is how you get and find your talent. if it is to eat, then eating is your talent, if it is to sleep, then sleeping is it, is it weaving and sewing, dancing, and so on....what you love to do without looking back on or feeling bored is your talent, now developing that talent is a different thing entirely.
Family / Re: Pls Help Am I Decieved by ronkebp(f): 10:02am On Sep 26, 2012
^^^^^^^Maybe she just realised she has been deceived into getting married in the first place. 32 -22, (10 years) is so much a gap, i have an uncle whose age gap from his wife's is 17 years, iranu is all i see.

coogar:

would you allow your own partner to talk to 3 different women(ex or no ex)? that she receives calls at that time of the night is a massive disrespect to the sanctity of their marriage! if she's not mature enough - what the fück is she doing marrying @ 22? she should be in nysc camp getting her butt ripped open by philandering youths! immaturity is not an excuse in marriage - if a woman @ 22 does not know picking calls from male acquaintances in the middle of the night is wrong, then she would never know its wrong!

Indeed!!!!! how do we really know that she receives those calls at midnght Some people know how to over exaggerate things, maybe the call came in 8pm it has become 1am at night. I am not supporting her, but to outrightly cut her from life and living is not realistic. it is such women that will end up cheating on their husbands with the 'afterall he does not trust me ' thought.
Health / Re: Daily Exercise And Food Routine For Those Who Want To Lose Weight by ronkebp(f): 3:18pm On Sep 25, 2012
that is fine, but imagine if the climbing of staircase is equivalent to 300 calories burnt?. for you to actually burn between 500-700 calories at times you need up to 1hr workout...so there is nothing wrong in dedicating 30 minutes to keeping fit, you can incorporate dance, yoga, pilates and so on.

Family / Re: We Have A Big Violence Problem In Nigeria by ronkebp(f): 3:15pm On Sep 25, 2012
Fact is, every Nigerian is guilty, when you start from your own house in eradicating violence, it will lead to the ends of the country, a generation has to start it. No need apportioning blame, let everyone carry their own cross and lead a decent life. Let education be upheld in the country, too much illiteracy is the problem. Majority of the able bodied youth in this generation are onions-sellers, alabaru's, bus conductors,yahoo-yahoo, armed robbers, see them at the airport when you come into the country, joblessness everywhere, where will the sanity come from? what do ytou really expect frrom people that have been exposed to the harshness of the country itself? NIgeria need help!!!!!

002: embarassed Nobody is responding to me , am new here. I asked if I am on d rite track yesterday, no response. Am on the 1,200 calories daily, I took orange, banana, apple dis morning. Mid lunch, boiled titus fish and snail, a cup of skimmed milk and cashew nuts, Dinner: am taking fruits, pawpaw, watermelon and grape, and mayb cashew nut if hungry. I need suggestions, am I on d rite track. Started last week from 73.5kg now am 70kg and am goung to atleast 60kg by nov ending. Pls responses

you need to increase your calorie intake, what you have listed i don't think is up to 1200 calories, all you have to do is workout..to burn fats and tone your body. when you starve yourself, you have a tricky way of loosing the weight, but trust me to gain it back.....eat well, you can eat a real food (put tyhe quantity into consideration) and use fruits as a dessert for every meal, that will increase your fiber at every meal....but working out and doing lots of cardio is the best way to loose weight.

MRbrownJAY:

you are so wrong, it is sickening....but the worst part of what you wrote is that many men in Africa think the way you do.
here is a clue for you: if you see your mother in such clothing, would you also ra.pe her or would you CONTROL YOURSELF?! its all about the type of person you are....and sadly, if you think that there is ANY legitimate reason whatsoever to ra.pe someone then you are a monster/beast indeed (no questions about it).

as for the police arresting innocent people, their dress sense has NOTHING to do with anything.....its the poor state of the Nigerian police that is the cause.

you are right!!!! poor state of Nigerian police, illiteracy and lack of personal moral upbringing, there are more perverts in a country like Nigerian, than the western coutries, they will rape a woman wearing their native buba and iro, and a 7 month old baby.....uselessness every wehere.
Family / Re: Are We Living In A World Of Indecency Or Fashion by ronkebp(f): 2:49pm On Sep 25, 2012
chaircover: Funny enough you be modest in your dressing and still look elegant. Things have changed over time and a lot of this is not the children's fault. Children will generally try it on with you and if they dont get any resistance from you their parents, then they carry on.

unfortunately, Many parents have nothing to offer their kids in terms of morality themselves, many "fathers" are sugar daddy's to these girls so how can they stop their own kids from wearing this.

Of course as usual we like to overdo oyinbo culture. It is Nigeria that I have seen kids born and bred in Nigeria who cant speak a word of another language apart from English and we are very good at picking and choosing the bad bits of the oyibno culture. Go to any decent school here and you will see the kids smartly dressed with blazers and ties, but go to any naija uni and you see the girls prancing around almost nakkked. The other day I even saw one naija youth pastor sagging and I just shook my head.

True dat!!!!!!

Poster, how did you know, the three guys she talks to are her ex, some men once they think they have put the 'ring on it' want to turn the women to mumu....if you do not trust her because of the age difference, then too bad for you, you should have allowed her to feel free before you decided to use your age and your want for marraige to tie her down. leave the poor girl alone and stop insinuating things that are not there.

Good that the wife left the house, if the imo-girl had the guts to move into the house, knowing that there is a wife and kid in that house, then she will have the guts to cause more harm than good. it is not everybody that has the strength to fight. So she made the right decision. The husband should solve the problem, if he cannot then he is an ar/se and not worthy to be called a man.

Breakfast is 2 pieces of waffles (160 calories each), with syrup and butter will make it a total of 500 calories and yes including my cup of tea....

Family / Re: Urgent Help For A Dear Friend! (WIFE BEATER!) by ronkebp(f): 10:28pm On Sep 03, 2012
oyarose: My good people of nairaland, you all have spoken well except the miserable WITCH that call herself jennykadry. unbehalf of my dear sister and friend, i said back to sender to you as in no time too, people will gather at your grave to sing RIP on u. To answer most of ur questions, i have to refer to my friends side of the story as to what caused the situation. she was up at 10pm 2 prepare stew for her hubby who always go along with food to his work place. She then asked the hubby who just came back from work to assist with the baby while she was cooking. she said five minutes later, she heard a loud bang followed with the baby crying. what happened was that the hubby dosed off and the baby tumbled from the bed. she ran to the room and been and emotional type, she started crying herself. she said the hubby looked up and saw her crying hissed and turn his back on the bed abandoning both mother and child. this got her so angry that she took the hubby's phone that he gave the baby to play with, hit it on the wall. Hubby seeing that his phone has been banged pounced on her straight without even looking at the baby she was carrying.
1: This is the first time the hubby will display such behaviour as he is the very loving type.
2: The hubby is a junior doctor with one of the most busiest hospital in London, and that to her might end his career, which she said as long as babys fine, she choose to even leave him better than leave him battered.
3: For those who asked why the guy couldnt go home to marry the babe at home. she said when she eventually asked hubby why the marriage ended, the hubby said unknown to him the babe is the type that is so curious about travelling out of the country and after multiple application, she was banned not to apply for UK visa for a long time. Other issues followed and the marriage ended. But as I type this the guy later explained why he acted because his mentor at the hospital where he work refuse to cover him for a minor error according to him, and the anger landed on the poor wife. The guy in question is not a pastor as per owning a church, Where will he even have the time, sundays are mostly his free days. She is out of the house right now and the bobo is begging his life out. He comes around to ma frends house and weep like a baby. My friend on her paths is rounding up her Masters in a couple of weeks, and she's expecting calls from barclays and HSBC. But my candid advice to her is to do what her mind ask her to.

I just read this, that guy is very immature, really because you had a problem at work is that enough reason to pour your amger on that one person that will have your back, incase anything went down? he is a big f0ol, i don't have respect for men that would behave like a baby in the face of problems.

The wife gan-sef, na wa for her, someone has gone to work to work all those long hours, and you feel it is the right time for the guy to come back from work and start helping out with a baby, we know the long hours that these doctors work, i don't blame him for dozing off, he is a human being abeg...so she cannot put the baby on her back and cook food?, i cannot count how many times i have backed my baby to cook or vacuum..maybe it is just due to the fact that i believe no one can take care of my child like i would.

Since it is the first time, that would have been a better reason for her to call the cops, anyways, that one has passed, she should get her poo together and go back to her home, the guy should have learnt his lessons with the little break she has given him...and this is not about tolerating any form of abuse, but and only because he has never raised his hands against her in the past.
Family / Re: Urgent Help For A Dear Friend! (WIFE BEATER!) by ronkebp(f): 10:14pm On Sep 03, 2012
@ Oyarose, how many times has the husband hit her? how many times has she been beaten? because that is when we will know if it is a continuous thing, we will be able to advice her well, if it was just a one time thing which maybe stemmed from the fact that they were having a heated arguement that pushed the man out of frustration to hit her, you can trust some women with their mouths...

2..she is concerned about another woman who claims she (your friend) married her husband, that woman should take it up with your friend's husband and not your friend, i don't know why your friend is bothered about her. although there is nothing wrong in carrying out her own personal investigations to further probe into the life of the stranger she married, at least that will give her peace of mind...

3. Hmmmmm!!!! the issue of the child falling off her hand, is enough reasons to call the cops, for the sake of your child and the sake of your own life, when some people are angry, the anger beclouds their sense of reasoning at that point intime, so a ring to the cops would have brought him back to his senses.

A woman can tolerate whatever she chooses to tolerate but not at the expense of her child's life...

HMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miraclechild! Miraclechild!!! Miraclechild!!!!! [how manytimes did i call you?]

Vanitty and Jennykadry, have already answered you.......

IF You have the money to care for your children, keep the pregnancy and move out of the house....

You just want to be married to that man for the sake of being married.....and if you do anything to that child because of your selfish desires, God will judge you. and if you remain in that house to the point of your husband beating you to snuff out the life out of that child, God will judge you still.
