There's this my cousin.
She called me sometime around June last year to complain about lack of money, how she can't feed and all.
She begged me to send money to her to buy a carton of frozen fish to roast and resell cos she said that's what she's doing at the moment and she's making a living from it.

After listening to her, I asked her the cost of a carton of frozen fish, I sent money for 3 cartons, she thanked me and that was all I heard from her .
She traveled to the village this Christmas season and told everyone that I am a ritualist.
She said the fish I gave her money to buy all got burnt and she couldn't sell any of the fish. She told people that my money is not pure, everyone should be careful how they interact with me.
Ordinarily, I am a kind of person that will thank God for a less senseless people in my family to worry about.

My mum got to hear what she was telling family members and called me, I was devastated when I heard that cos I know the money I sent to her would've have been useful to others who can manage it properly.

Right now, I don't know if I should confront her or ignore her.
I already told my mum that I won't confront her but at the same time if I don't say anything some people may think what she told them is the truth and my reputation is at stake.
If not carelessness, how can frozen fish burn to ashes without her knowing?

Tell the truth,make sure to vindicate yourself, Nigerians always fear gra gra people and warn that your cousin to stop spoiling your name or you will get her arrested ( not really tho) but put the fear of God in her so she will stop her foolishness.
Many people like blaming others for their problems, she obviously doesn't know how to do the business and burnt all her fishes but instead of learning and trying to raise funds she decided you are the course of all her problems.

And how can they collect Atm card because before you can collect any loan you need to put your atm card number before the loan app can give you the money.

So they not only created 2 bank accounts for you using your ussd and by magic the 2 banks didn't tell them to come for physical verification and they also collected Atm card from this said banks by magic of course without visiting the bank for physical verification and use this to borrow money in your name.

This criminals are geniuses I think, forget police you need to take this to interpol

lol I remembered when my little cousin was saving, he was 15 then and his mother usually gives him N500 to school, he will trek to his father place because his parents were separated and collect an extra money which he will use for transport for school then he will save that N500 his mother gave him.
He doesn't eat in school instead take food from house to school or wake up very early to prepare indomie to take to school.
After saving for 3 months thinking he already have like more than 20k in the kolo only for him to open it and it was just 4k . He didn't know that when he was putting money in the saving box his senior brother was helping him to collect it.
And a lot of people was even collecting money from his saving box and it's was a common knowledge where he kept it.
My lil cousin cried and cried that day and everybody around kept denying and denying they ever took his money.
3 months of suffering just wasted like that

This is sad. So they must have transferred the money they borrowed to a normal account number or even their own. Why don't you reach out to those loan companies, present the police report and request they supply the account the funds was transferred to.

And since they use your name and bvn, requesting for the account the loan was transferred to shouldn't be very hard.
