A lady doing the "wooing", let me borrow your word, isn't common in most developing countries. It's getting better as generations pass, but we ain't still there. Personally I feel we should let the guys do the wooing, there should be division of labor. They woo and we do shakara, then when they eventually get us, they start doing the shakira and we strive to keep them . |
Lol, this shows how the human mind works... |
With all the temptation to do otherwise, this takes alot. The cashier should be queried BTW. |
It's probably a reflex, Or an habit we inculcate unconsciously from seeing almost everyone that kisses on TV do.. |
Damn.. whoever took the picture is wicked mehn, It's probably a guy, he probably just finished playing with it, Then snapped it to make the world laugh at it. Hypocrisy.... |
bastien:You're just da best. Thanks... |
awww that's sweet. |
REMMEI:The rating is subjective, as i clearly mentioned above, my personal preference, and by no means the ULTIMATE list (if that exists). African Queen & Oruka & You is the one- are alright, though not everyday songs. Love songs aren't everyday songs. BTW 3 love songs on your top 5 list, that says alot about you. No offense, but your list mehn, it's not mood changing, quite dull for me. Then again, my opinion |
VulgarVulvas:Firstly, let this be the last, emphasis on the word "Last", time you quote me and insult me. That said, this will be my last reply to you, i don't waste my typing time replying absurd comments. It's common knowledge that no other tribe in Nigeria (except maybe the Igbos) prioritize education like the West. Its equally crystal clear that States are getting bankrupts, when you can't pay salaries how will you afford to maintain schools. Yes, most state governors f.cked up with allocations in the past when oil prices were reasonable, but now we have to be realistic. Why maintain schools, owe teachers salaries, deliver substandard education, when the private sector is there. what i believe the Govt will do is set price controls/caps, so school fees don't exceed a certain amount. But to encourage the state government to continuing funding substandard education is the height of absurdity. I would rather not go to school and be termed an illiterate, than graduate and be called an educated illiterate. |
y'all should leave the dude alone, he was just taking a f.uking nap.. We all do it, particularly on long flights. |
Mummy or Mum |
Though didn't go through the list, i doubt there's an bayelsan, or if there is they represent a minute proportion of the whole. Pity. |
VulgarVulvas:Which would you prefer, "Free education" in a debilitated environment -no infrastructure, under qualified teachers, no system conducive for impacting any knowledge. You end up with uneducated school leavers. Or an affordable education with up-to-date facilities and expertise that can compete with global trends. Have you been to any state school, if no, you cannot understand my point. |
Nice, glad they asked for LASRRA ID (i believe thats the Lagos Resident identification number or something). They should be able to distinguish Lagos residents from other State. |
A welcome move, considering the bureaucracy, corruption and lack of maintenance culture in Nigeria, education should provided by the private sector, or a public - private partnership. In a capitalist model (the most efficient system), functions of the state should be privatize and exposed to market forces, government should be purely a last resort regulator, not a provider of services. |
Every administration will have opposition. Even Gandafi who created, what people call, the most classless society in the world still had opposition. Mr. Femi Adeshina should leave wailers alone, its their right to wail, even when Nigerians start witnessing positive change, some people will still "Wail". Thats how a democracy works. |
Nigerians are anxiously waiting. If only you could facilitate the process, if wishes were horses beggars would ride. |
Hmm, sad development if true. Though heard Peace Airlines will soon start international flights to Houston or so?? |
Can we please criticize constructively. Even if you want an alternative, you propose an individual with a pending corrupt case. Of all the able bodied technocrats in Nigeria, you propose a seasoned politician. Only you know your problem. |
That's good, we encourage such philanthropy. There is love is giving. |
I wonder how the research was conducted, "We are looking for participants - ladies who are willing to let their VG be experimented with" Interesting. |
Depends on your relationship with your EX. My EX is currently my best friend, we talk almost daily, definitely he's getting a gift from me. |
mmclatino:2 noteworthy points, i don't agree with the first, the size is ALWAYS important, some activities require a certain lenght. The second point is interesting.... ![]() |
Funny enough they act indifferent (though i know they aint comfortable). I am the one that does something, either i start an unrelated topic, fidget on the phone, or leave the room inconspicuously. |
M.I Abaga best rapper ever, Lyrics always on point He should be on that list o Lil Kesh should be Number 1 of "Bad of the Baddest" Lyrics (if that makes sense). Efejuko WTF?? Gbese ?He deserves the crown. Nice dance tracks, but terrible lyrics. |
Now, this is solely my opinion, below are 5 TOP all-time Nigerian songs, regardless of your mood, countenance, they'll make you smile. More importantly though is their content, the artists tried to pass a message, no matter how subtle, and didn't subscribe to the typical Naija Lyrics of "All rhymes and No Sense". Number 5: Mungo Park - Korede Bello - I love the concept, the video has a comic side, and talks generally about delay, procastination, etc... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il7vIMecTaI Number 4: Anifowose - Olamide - This song is deep, love Olamide when his songs had a strong underlying meaning. Still like him now though, but his initial songs always had a message people could relate to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoayYeEcqO0 Number 3: Beef - M.I. Abaga M.I the best rapper of all time!!! His mix tapes are dope ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4318vHER6k&index=3&list=PLECsfI0SV63TvYJWoaSAU-Pd-0eKOMgD- Number 2: Godwin - Korede Bello Everyone loves this song- the churchy, the funky and my sweethearts - the nerds... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZDS72ov1rU And the winner, best song of all time goes to . . . Number 1: Iya Bashira - Styl Plus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqmgGoS848Q&list=RDqqmgGoS848Q I miss Styl Plus, from Call my name, to Imagine that, Olufunmi, 4 years, mehn they were the BEST..... So if y'all are like me, always with your headphones, then you gotta to download these. |
Thank God, right move at last. |
My Ex. did that once. Also washed his boxers. It's No big deal ![]() |
Achorise:4 theories: 1) Tomato Ebola - moths destroyed swaths of tomato fields, forcing factories to close and driving prices up astronomically 2) Opening of tomato paste companies in the north (Dangote and the likes), it's rumoured that local farmers would rather sell to these companies who buy in bulk and pay immediately than transport to the southern regions as was the practice before. 3) the raining season, tomato doesn't fare well in the rain 4) price of fuel- Trucks to transfer the tomatoes to the market (other regions) have hiked up charges. I believe it's a combination of these factors. |
Weedcrusher:You just said my mind, we southerners need to go back to Agriculture, not just white collar f.ucking jobs. Think outside the box, the demand now is high. |
Sarah gave birth at 99years right When all hope was lost.Let's have faith then, even May 28th 2019, light fit dey 24/7.. I believe it's still too early to conclude, the budget just got signed for f.UK sake. Lets constructively criticize now, not label the administration as a failure. |
bastien:Thanks, though didn't find GTA by rockstar games, only saw imitations like "The grand Auto", "San Andreas real gangsta",... |
