The problem you, and unfortunately most Nigerians, have is that once an individual has a different opinion and or view from yours, automatically it's assumed the person's view is either based on political, religious or tribal affiliation.

For your information that aint always the case, some people do make objective contributions.

That said, every human being when accused, creates a defense. We do it instinctively.
Only when it's glaring that the "accuser" can prove the case against all reasonable doubt do we admit guilt.

The Ijaws are my in-laws and I live among them. I also have in-laws in Delta State, Akwa Ibom State, Cross River State and Rivers State. So, I know the facts. Federal government is not the cause of their woes.

That said, I believe the past state governments have failed in their responsibility considering the allocations they got.

I also blame the federal government for not monitoring the excesses of the state.
The revenue allocation formula Nigeria practices gives the federal government the right to conditional and unconditional allocations, they chose to give unconditional allocations.

Lastly, the donations I spoke of previously have come from individuals, other state government, NGOs and the likes.

My emphasis was that poverty breeds crime, we as Nigerians cannot truthfully say we have taking care of the oil producing states like we ought to, we fall short.

Whether you or the FG government admit to that is irrelevant.

If Buhari can ensure the new INEC chairman consolidates Jegas efforts in the card reader implementation, free and fair election will be a given. with that 2023 will be a more interesting and competitive election.

Its voluntary work and if you know 23k is small you don't need to apply... but govt should try to let people work within dr LGA so dt cost of accommodation and transport will not finish the 23k... People go they form now let the site open you will see over 5million will apply for it..

People apply out of desperation, when the preferable is not available the available becomes preferable.

So its not forming, people still need to point out to the government that the amount is too low. NYSC gives an allowance of approximately 20k, plus the little additional you get from the company (atleast not less than 5k), so technically this program pays less than the NYSC Scheme.

Its a good initiative, but the pay is too damn low...
