nina161:
Nsibidi originated from the Ekoi/Ejagham people of Cross River state in Nigeria. It spread to parts of Igbo land from this area. Igbos should stop misintepreting history to assert themselves as a progressive tribe.
Sadly, the Ekois are a minority tribe in danger of extinction. Most of them don't even know their Bantu origin or speak their language. As a result, the Igbos are yet to be corrected on this issue.

1st:
Nsibidi's origin is generally attributed to the Ekoi people of southern Nigeria. Alternatively J. K. Macgregor claimed in 1909 that it is traditionally said to have come from the Uguakima, Ebe or Uyanga tribes of the Igbo people, which legend says were taught the script by baboons,[3] although one writer believes Macgregor had been misled by his informants.[6]

2: I believe the word you are looking for is not "progressive" but "advanced". But who knows when it comes to people like you who have Igbophobia. And mind you the Aztecs had aquaducts and didn't have a form of w

3: If you are not even bothered to get off your lazy behind and read the first page of this thread it's okay not to comment. You look less ignorant and prejudice that way

Lastly:

If you care so much why are you not reviving it yourself since you have taken the Ekoi plight to heart? This guy who is doing this is actually doing something worthwhile, while you on the other hand...yeah doing pretty much nothing.

take dat: Stop conflicting yourself, I only made mention of US where "retired military general" ended up as president, referencing that former generals can aspire to become president and that there are other countries where military rulers eventually became civilian president. Unlike you who wrote "Only in Nigeria is a military ruler a top candidate". Go back to my post to clarify your foolishness.

Have former military rulers been barred from contesting in Nigeria? No, so why use examples of other countries to judge Nigeria.

I'll refrain from making similitude with your mother and would have called you a gecko cos your brain is nowhere as developed as that of mammals.

Dude stop being clueless, you know exactly what I was referring to. There is nothing wrong with a former military personal running for office, plenty of them do in the US. But which one in the US has overthrown the US government?

Militar ruler as in authoritarian rule stop being dumber than usual. Being the leader of the Army is not even remotely the same as being the leader of a military junta which is what I was referring to. I even made the same point in greater detail in the same damn post:

Only in Nigeria is a military ruler a top candidate and the people saying it claim they have sense.

By voting Buhari in effect you show the world that Nigerians are so rutterless that the leader of a military junta is a top pick.

Brilliant.

Here is the definition for your benefit:

A junta
or military junta (pron.: /ˈhʊntə/ or /ˈdʒʌntə/) is a government led by a committee of military leaders. The term derives from the Spanish word junta meaning committee or meeting, specifically a board of directors. Sometimes it becomes a military dictatorship, though the terms are not synonymous.

Nigeria
1966–1979 1983–1998 Military juntas

Buhari was in office when: June 1978 – July 1978

Hmm are you seeing a pattern numb nuts grin

You quoted me, I didn't quote you so its not my fault you are too dumb to understand my point. I blame your mother, but christ the woman has suffered enough with the shame of birthing you. grin

And to make sure my point is clear here is what I also said:

I want to believe its one expensive joke being played but people are dead serious saying it.

After the struggle of getting back to democracy the man who aborted it again and set the country back another 20 years is what Nigeria needs.

Sick people. Nigeria is exactly the way it is because of that reasoning.

Like I said your mother was a dumb broad who brought an equal dumb son into this world. Have a nice day dumb bastard cool

take dat: Did my post hit a nerve? Just wanted to clarify your flawed submission that it is only in Nigeria where such will happen. Sorry I did not know you have shi.t for brains!

No not really because I pretty much pointed out how flawed your logic was. Buhari and Eisenhower were both generals but the latter did not overthrow his government dumbas.s.

Comparing apples to your mother clearly.

In many countries they actually bar former military junta leaders from holding office after the return to democracy. How many high level Nazi members were ruling Germany after WWII?

I'd call you a monkey but that's not fair to the monkeys.

take dat: There are many countries in the world where former military rulers ended up as civilian president including countries like US where retired generals later became president. So your point that its only in Nigeria where you have former military rulers aspiring to become civilian presidents is flawed. The question is, is he qualified? And that is a Yes. Are there people who will vote for him? Which is also Yes.

Yes because Eisenhower overthrew the American government before he ran for office.

Im sure your write up sounded so much smarter in your head than on the screen.

Dudu_Negro:

when boko want to get you they approach directly. the same people that used indirect tactics of kidnapping her mother are behind this one. ......but wait....this was designed as a message and not as a weapon.

1. it was designed with an override or safety trigger, so to speak, that way ordinary handling will not trigger it. it took police inhibiting the safety in order to cause it to go off.
2. they put it on the street to draw alert so the right people can detonate it
3. if they can spend that much to make bomb to kill a high target with fail-proof accuracy, then they would ship via courier instead of regular mail.
4. post office was aware of its delivery on friday.......why was it left out for additional two days to attend to it?
5. is Okonjo Iwella part of the ploy......is this a design toappear as an assassination target and therefore induce the FG to provide her with multilayer shield of security, perhaps close or parallel to the presidential security detail?

How is it that you use so many words and write so many paragraphs to say absolutely nothing. Are you the caliber of graduate that Nigeria produces? You ramble like a small child narrating their first trip to the ice cream store, yet are old enough to be someone's father.

What a scam thread, do you think America is Nigeria where anything goes? You would never find such a thing because medical tissue is handled under strict guidelines.

Furthermore partial abortions only happen in very rare circumstances. When the life of the mother and child are in danger or if the child will be born with terminal or serious condition that quality of life will be poor.
