Please stop posting any reply to other folks posts on this forum,
You are very childish and immature in your write ups! Even if you are a Priest or a zealous lay person, Please stop your write ups because you are pouring more fuel into a burning fire. This IS not a time for Catholic triumphalism or flouting our over over billion membership or defending the Pope!
This ought to be a sober season for every adult Catholic as we pray that God will give our Pope and other leaders the grace and power to overcome the big challenges that is facing the Church. Abusing the Pope or the Church is also out of order. The Church must have learn the lessons in a hard way.

As a Catholic, I am not happy the way the Pope and his media managers handled the crisis! All the talk about the Western media ambushing the Church and demonising her is rubbish! Truly, the Vatican covered up some of these crimes and once again , we must come out to the open, admit our faults and have a stronger ways in dealing with these randy priests. what the press is writing is the truth, only the truth will set us free not pity party or blame game!

The song is, in the tradition of Juju music, quite long. I have just finished writing down the lyrics,
Yourba is not easy to write or translate for one not formally trained in the language. Trust me I know,
as I am a native speaker but whose parents are not even Yoruba.   All my formal Yoruba training was two years of infant school; the first two years of the Awolowo free primary system.
For those of you wondering, I am an "omo eko"!
It will take a while to translate the entire lyrics, but fortunately,  St. Janet sang the intro in English

Here it is:
The rest of the song is 99% Yoruba. I will post as I translate, when I get around to it.
However, the most incendiary part, which I think got her banned, are these lines:
Excuse me!, I do not have the Yoruba font set on my pc.

English translation, line by line:
You bet the Cherubs, Celes and Christ Embassy folks are not amused!

Stay tuned for the rest, it is very entertaining.
Thank you! I reserve my comments till the entire translation!

As a Catholic, I deeply appreciated the efforts of Peter Akinola when he was the leader of the Nigeria Anglicans! He tried his best and was a voice at the world Anglican forum! Occultism, polygamy and other things he did not fight to your satisfaction might not be wiped out with a fiat! Local priests and their lay leaders can address that. Even in Catholic, Methodist and Pentecostals , they have their own problems they are trying to solve

some of the so-called predictions are guess work! Isaiah in his book , chapter 44:1-5 , predicted about a Persian King , called his Cyrus and said that God will use him to set the Jews free from Babylonian captivity. The prophecy was made almost 200 years before the man was born and it came to pass!
T. B and all other white garmet prophets is to talk like these,
, there will be two air crashes this year!
, 4 yoruba obas will die{by the way, hundreds of these Obas are above 80 years}
, there will be cabinet reshuffle, ministers will pray hard{ so rush to my church to be saved from the sack}

Don't be too personal or too protective of the pastors, priests and prophets! They are God's servants but also public servants! No one is bashing them, we must put away timidity and guilt trap and deal with issues! If we keep hiding the mess in some churches, by and by , the secular news media will expose them! Jim Jones, Jim Bakker and Jim Swaggart were exposed in 1988 at America. His Holiness Reverend Doctor Senoir Pastor King Emeka Ezeuko was exposed and tried for murder in Nigeria! Funny enough, when I was discussing with one of King's aides by name Tina King, she nearly placed a curse on me for 'bashing' an anointed man of God! If you cannot tell your earthly father that he is wrong, when he is wrong, something is wrong with you! what about our spritual fathers? Catholic Church in America and ireland are paying dearly today for the years of their cover ups of their priests sexual immorality!

The church is marching on and the gates of hell cannot stop it. That men disapprove a man do not mean God disapprove him. Since i was born i have not seen God been stopped by men.
@ Nuella, Sentiments and emotions apart, have you truly study the Bible? Study 1 Sam2:12-17

12 Eli's sons were wicked men; they had no regard for the LORD. 13 Now it was the practice of the priests with the people that whenever anyone offered a sacrifice and while the meat was being boiled, the servant of the priest would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand. 14 He would plunge it into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot, and the priest would take for himself whatever the fork brought up. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh. 15 But even before the fat was burned, the servant of the priest would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, "Give the priest some meat to roast; he won't accept boiled meat from you, but only raw."
16 If the man said to him, "Let the fat be burned up first, and then take whatever you want," the servant would then answer, "No, hand it over now; if you don't, I'll take it by force."

17 This sin of the young men was very great in the LORD's sight, for they [d] were treating the LORD's offering with contempt.

In Theology, the word typology talks symbolism and a shadow of a future occurrence! Hophini and Phinehas are typology of today's corrupt and greedy pastors and priests! Men disapprove of their actions and later God also did the same!, study again 1 sam 2:30-36

30 "Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: 'I promised that your house and your father's house would minister before me forever.' But now the LORD declares: 'Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained. 31 The time is coming when I will cut short your strength and the strength of your father's house, so that there will not be an old man in your family line 32 and you will see distress in my dwelling. Although good will be done to Israel, in your family line there will never be an old man. 33 Every one of you that I do not cut off from my altar will be spared only to blind your eyes with tears and to grieve your heart, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life.

34 " 'And what happens to your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, will be a sign to you—they will both die on the same day. 35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his house, and he will minister before my anointed one always. 36 Then everyone left in your family line will come and bow down before him for a piece of silver and a crust of bread and plead, "Appoint me to some priestly office so I can have food to eat." ' "

Who is having regret commission here?.

There are lots of "kingdom issues" that are left undone. We are more concern that pastors coerced people to pay this and that. But what about the ones that the pastors do not coerced people to do and people still do it e.g Fornication, adultery, adolatory etc.

Let us lift Jesus high, so we can draw men unto him.

Anyway, continue to suit yourself, I think I have contributed my bit to the topic in question and as I told you before; "The church of God still marches on" whether you and me did our bit sor not. And do you know what God can raise stones to praise Him if you and I refused to?.

I wish you a Christ filled day!
I REJOICE WITH THE CHURCH THAT IS MARCHING ON! BUT ONLY FEW ARE MARCHING ON THE NARROW WAY WHILE OTHERS ARE MARCHING AIMLESSLY AT THE BROAD WAY!

the foot soldiers working at the grassroots levels are actually the ones setting the respectability for the entire profession.

Pastors like the ones who were killed in the riots, and the many more who work silently and at great inconvenience to themselves, are the people who others think of and for their sake, give a kind of blanket respect to pastors in general.

Its not always about the glitz and glamour
Some Pastors these days compete with the nollywood and hollywood film stars, jets, permed hairs and giltz. Some are busy extorting money from peasants in the name of Jesus that borrowed a coin for an illustration during the tax debate in His ministry!

Time used in arguing and making noise on the internet can be used to reach the unreached. It is the commission of all christian.

Stop the noise and take up the task.
What we are doing here is part of the great commission! Part of that commission is to teach all men about Christ! Some know much of their Pastors words but not the words of Christ! They need instructions before jumping out to reach the world.

I never claimed any affinity with you .I dont belong to any word of faith movement or any a association. And I dont know if there is any movement like that . I only know that the word of God is word of faith. Faith comes by hearing the word. I am born again and christ is my life. You are the one doing teachings of jehovah witnesses. and needs to be born again and recieve the holyghost. stop blaspheming against the holyghost, stop attack against the church of christ and men of God. You join forces with sinners to make mokery of the body of christ which you dont belong( sorry if im wrong) but all evidence proves that. The first sign that a man is saved is in his love for the church and the brethren and not bringing the church to open shame.

There are several churches that I dont agree with their doctrines. but I wont come to the public and condemn their convictions , I only pray for understanding for them as i pray for your group of mockers and jesters.
Christ loves the church, and any one born of christ will love the church and not destroy it.

Ephes. 1:15
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

Col. 1:3-4
We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, [4] Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

Philemon 1:5
Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
I am a sinner that God loves and sent His Son to died at the cross for the sake of my sins. Jesus did not die to create job for jobless men or to allow men in the guise of His name to amass wealth, buy private jets and perm their hairs for a hollywood brand of christianity. If some of Rev. King followers believed us when we said he was a con man preaching a con gospel, they would be alive today! It takes the court of the land to jail the Pastor.

There is no point quarreling or talking down on people opinion on this topic.

It is through that these pastors mentioned might not have been in maidugury or in the north where there was religion riot but i want to tell u if you are opportune to listen to the persecution, danger that these pastors had passed through in the past you would not have been talking like that.

Have you heard the story of Bishop Oyedepo during the first Kaduna riot? and are you aware that his ministry started in the North. So also pastor Kumuyi and Olukoya all of them have one story or the other to tell if you ask them

Yes, we thank God for the life of those pastors that have lost their lives for standing for Jesus, they have actually fought the good faith and the crown of glory is already waiting for them in the kingdom, their death must have paved way for the salvation of many people in that area.

I am not at present staying in the North infact i have never been there, so i can not know those pastor, am only talking about the pastor i know, and pastor i have listen to their messages being to their church, know about what they believe in. if i know those pastor in the north may be they will also earn my respect.

So, my brother there is no need of trading word among ourselves on these issue, the topic is 'The pastor i respect Most in Nigeria" You can as well name those of yours that you respect.

thanks
WELL, GOOD LUCK TO THOSE YOU RESPECT AFTER LISTENING TO THEIR MESSAGES.

the poster made it clear that the pastor i respected most. Those that are abusing him should understand the topic, he has list his own, list yours and stop castigating these men of God.

One thing majority of you don't understand is that all these pastors have their different area of calling and each of them oversea their congratulation around that calling some are call to be pastor some for evangelist, miracle worker, prophesy, teacher of the word and so on

so if one pastor is call to be a teacher of the word and is not doing miracle that does not mean is not doing the will of God.

Please stop abusing men of God, let God do His judgement. when we get to heaven everything will be clear, if u get to any church and you think that you are not comfortable with their mode of service u can just leave and go to other church.

Christainity is a personal things when we get to heaven nobody we ask you which church are you going, or what is the name of your pastor? God bless u

As for me I list my own in this order

Pastor Kumuyi
Pastor D.K Olukoya
Pastor Adeboye
Bishop Oyedepo

This does not mean am Deeper life member
Do you know that there are many Pastors in this country that are in the sun scorched desert sharia infested North converting souls and risking their lives? Because they are not Lagos based, owners of large camp grounds, private Universities and private jets, they will not earn your respect! Because the print and electronic media has not blown them to national attention, they will not be respected. These four men of God you listed, have they ever taken the gospel to Sokoto , Maiduguri in Borno State or Zamfara States?
Read the account below to know how to spell the word RESPECT,

NIGERIA - CHRISTIAN PASTORS BEHEADED IN RECENT BLOODSHED

At least twelve churches have been burned down and a number of Christians killed in anti-Christian violence in northern Nigeria. The coordinated attacks began on 26 July in Maiduguri, capital of Borno state, and spread across the country to Yobe state, Bauchi state and Kano state. Islamic militants targeted Christians and the local police, setting fire to churches and homes of local Christians, as well as a police station, a prison and a customs post. Five police officers and twelve Christians have been confirmed dead, including at least two pastors. Curfews were imposed to ease the violence and security forces were instructed to clamp down on the militants, who belonged to the Boko Haram sect. Barnabas Aid is sending help to the Christian victims.

Perhaps the most shocking element of the recent violence in Nigeria was the brutal murders of the Christian pastors. When asked to convert to Islam, they refused, and were beheaded on the instruction of the sect leader, Mohammed Yusuf. One of them, Sabo Yakubu, was the pastor of a congregation in Maiduguri. The father of seven was hacked to death with a machete. Another Christian leader, George Orjih, preached to Yusuf about Christ before his martyrdom. He was described as a fearless and hardworking man. A fellow kidnap victim, who was later released, reported that "while we were lying there, tied up, George turned to me and said 'if you survive, tell my brothers that I died well, and am living with Christ. And if we all die, we know that we die for the Lord.'"

One eye-witness says that Orjih was singing and praying all through the ordeal and encouraging the believers not to give up, even unto death. "It was his words of encouragement that kept us till the time we were released."

Remii:
What the woman did in just going far above what others before her has attempted to do or  as they say in Performance Engineering, do what has been done in a new and “better” way.
Jesters in Yorubaland have always been turning popular musical tracks in funny ways for entertainment. This has been going on since 70s by trio of Jacob, Aderepuko and Papilolo.
Many musicians tend to sing corruptly too, for instance, the name Pasuma, is a name of an aphrodisiac before the advent of Viagra!! He, Pasuma, and Obesere shot into limelight by singing corruptly. It just that vulgarity of this woman’s work is unprecedented, not even Fela. However, tried not to pronounce woman’s private part by name through the music.

The woman should not take all the blame and bashing, she is just a lead singer; instrument and chorus seemed dominated by men.
She claimed to be born into C&S , married a CCC man and her producer, who could be heard saying so many unprintable words underground, she said is member of Christ embassy.
I think the work was more like the case of Paris Hilton, when private work got leaked and they decided to release and take economic advantage also.
Two musicians that should sue her for all the revenue from the CD are Ayefele and KSA, the woman bastardized some of their most successful tracks.
She used both C&S /CCC type of gospel songs and other contemporary tune like Juju and Fuji. A non Yoruba speaking listener may even take her song for Gospel music, lol. The aspect that beats my imagination most is towards the end where she claims to be praising God then go on comparing God against some of her patrons and preferred copulating positions, that side seems, to me kinda blasphemous.
Thank You so much, at least the picture is getting more clear! That the woman is singing with her husband is amazing! A member of Christ Embassy? Then Pastor Chris must sack her from the choir! We the non yorubas still want full content of her song,
