In short explanation. Thin client is a computer that depend on another computers resources. it shares what the other computer has. (everything) via LAN. including OS, Application software, Anti virus, printers. read more here. |

The problem with deploying fiber in Nigeria is the issue of laying the fiber cable. every ISP out there will like to lay their own cable and this will not make sense in anyway. it be much better if one or two companies will lay fiber cables all over Nigeria, rent/lease, manage and maintain it. So if you want to offer fiber Optics service you don't need to worry about laying and maintaining cable, you just rent/lease already fiber cable in the ground. |

I have gone to there office they reconfigured my modem and told me their engineers have finished working.That i should go and start enjoying my modem.After i left their office till now i have not enjoyed anything.Infact its like the engineers did not do any work because no signal. Are you tired of going to their office? when there is a serious issue like this the best thing is to keep visiting the nearest office close to you until your issue is resolved. stop sending mails or calling customer care when you're experiencing serious technical issues that requires immediate attention. my opinion. |

Why must one call for the details, abi na freebrowsing dey power the cafe? DC, u dey vesse, lol. @poster, all we needed was just a brief details, like Thin client that boots from Network(LAN) and connects to the host server, the server hosts all applications needed by the cafe users, bla bla bla bla , etc. as simple as that. |

I just bought the modem yesterday (26 july 2011) plus 9am-9pm one month day plan. The big question now is why do i suddenly want to sell it? I recently configured a new linux based server with the hope of running three different 3G internet on it. preferably GLO, VISAFONE and STARCOMMS (my favourites) but unfortunately for me, STARCOMMS Izap modem is manufacture by ZTE technologies while my linux based server only recognizes Huawei modems (not all models though). The three Networks is configured to work at the same, serving as backup for one another incase one or two of them fails. So now i don't have any option than to sell this my Izap immediately because the day plan have already began to count from yesterday.
