guy! i dont know ooh, it's annoying and frustrating, imagine coming outside each time you want to receive/make call, even in the night, then if it is raining, forge it no calls for you unless you will comeout in the rain.

this has been a serious problem and challenge to me in using my phone at home to make calls, receive calls and even browsing. it sucks! please is there any device i can mount on the roof or something to boost the strength of MTN network in my room, cause i have to come out to the compound before i can do anything.
i have mailed MTN customer care concerning this but they don't have any solution for me based on their reply.

haaha, this will only benefit Cybercafes of 1-10 systems. if i try it in our cafe hmm my customers will kill me alive because it will be slow and dragging as well.

@ poster, is like you are preparing/writing certification exam, why asking us to do your homework for you? dont you know it will pay you well if you understand how all these works rather than looking for someone that will just give you the answers.
if i am in your shoes, i will know the basic of it all first then from there i will ask questions where i don't understand well.

there is waste of bandwidth on this network via unnecessary downloads et al

you have these options. mount and configure any of these as your server, mikrotik OS(router), PFsense, or Untangle server and use there wonderful features to limit many network activities going on in your organisation. Cisco devices are very expensive so i wont advice for that.
