The position of President, Court of Appeal (PCA) is more powerful than a Justice of the Supreme Court except you are CJN.

As a PCA, you can constitutionally send names to the NJC to be preferred to the Supreme Court. So, it is judicially juicier to be PCA than a Justice of the Supreme Court, unless you are CJN.

Most times before you are made PCA, you are usually 60 and above, and can virtually do less as a Justice of the Supreme Court.

She is been taken out of play, it's strictly politics and it's a travesty. The same fiasco of Katsina-Alu and Ayo Salami.

The issue of concern shouldn't be that "it is judicially juicier to be PCA than a Justice of the Supreme Court," but that what is due someone is giving to the person.
Is it true that Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem is next most senior Justice of the court, and that if she is finally appointed to the bench of the Supreme Court, then, Justice Garba will automatically become the president of the Court of Appeal?
