Nnamdi Kanu is just one side of the coin. Religious (sentiments) intolerance is another.

Like play like play, a Boko Haram like movement will definitely develop in Igboland with this silly mindset our people are having, even the church is getting involved in politics and all the nonsense involved.
I'm Anglican and Igbo but this is way too far abeg, that bishop should be cautioned.
Don't worry Yyeske, it won't go beyond this state. Your fear is based on activities carried out by haters of the present President. Once he's out, I believe they will change, and things will return to normal.

We might not have been hearing all these had Atiku/Obi won the election.

Cownu called iboes PIGS and IDIOTS, they all looked on! No apologies demanded whatsoever.

Maybe they didnt care because they imagined he was right!
grin grin grin

This is what sentiments do to people. When it appeals to your emotions and suits your beliefs, it's just fine - others can go to hell. But when it doesn't, then all hell breaks loose.

My worries are only how these leaders - traditional and religious, have allowed their emotions, personal interest and maybe material inducement blind them to the truth.
PoliticsRe: Anglican Church Demands Apology From Obiano For ‘Betraying’ Igbos by RoyalUc(m):

If you demand an apology from Gov Obiano, what do you demand from NK who had severally insulted the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo and did more damage to the emergence of your preferred candidate by his election boycott order?

You were clearly partisan with ur prior comments.

Nigeria is sinking and all you can always think of is APC or Pdp. Pathetic
I'm not sure you are referring to my prior comment addressed to the op. Just look at my initial comment again.

I don't always think of APC or PDP. I favor truth, rational and unbiased criticism.

And for your info, Nigeria is not sinking. Nigeria is facing critical challenges that most developed and developing countries had or are facing.

Someone made a post that gives a projection about the economic reality of Nigerian situation, you and the guy you mentioned pulled it away from economic discuss and then narrowed it into a party politics and someone presidential ambition.
So Nigerian economic outlook cannot be discussed unless one belongs to Atiku's camp. Can't Nigerians who are not member of any political party make useful suggestions
Sorry to intrude. I see you are trying really hard to sound neutral and apolitical but where in the op's write up did he give a factual, rational "projection about the economic reality of Nigerian situation?"

He was clearly wishing doom and gloom for the country to the extent of saying "...not even God can stop it."

How does his post show patriotism?

Op let me tell you this, if you close the borders of Nigeria for 10years, Nigeria will even become stronger.

In fact, we are 'suffering' now because we are looking outwards instead of inwards.

So, if what you are praying for happens, it's people like you that will suffer...

Fashola is talking nonsense. Attending the event won’t take anything away from Ambode or whatever glory that comes with the commissioning. In fact, attending the event would have added more glory to the outgoing governor and end speculations of unhealthy relationship between the duo.
Well, people see things differently. He decided not to honour an invitation and gave his reason for doing that.
That should suffice.

Abia, Imo and Anambra have some crude oil, which even though it's not very much, will provide more revenue to the 5 SE states than the share we get from the present FG. Also, take note that the largest natural gas reserve in Africa is in Imo.
Let me remind you that in the next 20 years, most developed nations would have jettisoned petrol and diesel engine cars for electric cars. Crude oil will soon become nearly worthless.

Biafra as a nation will thrive on technology and industrialization. Aba and Nnewi have a lot of industrial potentials that are being stifled by Nigeria. Moreover, there are many more Igbo men in diaspora that will be ready to come and invest in Igbo land (Biafra) if the nation is born.

If South South are to be part of Biafra, there will definitely be rotational presidency between the various regions of Biafra. No matter how bad it is, Igbos will definitely treat South South better than the North treats all of us. Igbos have been co-existing with Efik, Ibibio, Annang, Ijaw, Urhobo etc people for hundreds of years even before Nigeria was born.
"No matter how bad it is, Igbos will definitely treat South South better..." like a father treats his child, right?

Quit being clever by half!

Which federal infrastructure and assets? How about functional airports; functional seaports; Nigerian centre of the commerce and industry, with the multiplier effects that goes with it; political control of the commercial and political capitals of the country through force or subterfuge; military installations; control of all military and paramilitary institutions; taking a disproportionate bite at the presidency cherry, while conniving and colluding with likeminded Igbo-haters to ensure no Igbo/Biafran rules Nigeria; etc!

Of course only he who wears the shoes knows where it pinches! I expect you to accuse Ndigbo/Biafrans of ‘just wailing because Buhari ‘won’, and being ‘sore losers’’’ smiley
Bro., you see this Nation, nobody is "marginalising" anybody! We just have a bunch of useless, clueless, visionless, incompetent, selfish, nepotic leaders.

I was at the int'l airport in Lagos and was disappointed with what I saw. The place I consider a gateway to the nation wasn't good enough (thank God that the road through the airport had just been done). If not that some of these critical infrastructure (national assets) especially in Lagos are ones that we can't easily avoid, they would've gone moribund just like our refineries.
Now, take away Lagos (which in my opinion is actually overrated) and Abuja (and maybe Kaduna, because of Federal presence), tell me if the west and the north are faring better than the east.

Apart from a few skewed appointments which you refer to as "military installations; control of all military and paramilitary institutions" by PMB, in my opinion, the 'major' tribes in Nigeria share everything almost proportionately. If you doubt me, go to any Federal Ministry and see the people working there.

And as for the "disproportionate bite at the presidency cherry," you and I know that 'bite' isn't like it's done among siblings who couldn't conveniently share a piece of meat.
We run a democracy based on political parties. These elect their flag bearers who stand elections. And for year now, it's been the 'stronger' party (have not fielded any Igbo candidate) that wins.

I hate talking about tribal issues so I might not respond to any further comments.

It appears you are not living on the earth...maybe you are living in Venus, as you could still use the internet if you are anywhere on earth to know and see that the north and SW have most and almost all federal infrastructure and assets...Not even SS that contributes up to 80% of the nation's wealth...has such.
Now, mention those "federal infrastructure and assets" you have in the North but not in the East.

The agent of darkness is those who have perpetually developed the north and the Southwest leaving the other regions to be on their own. There won't be any Biafra if all regions are fairly treated.
There we go again!

So, by your reckoning, the North and the Southwest are "perpetually developed" more than the Southeast?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Collapse Imminent As Rise Of Biafra Inevitable – Nnamdi Kanu by RoyalUc(m): 7:16pm On Apr 28, 2019
Nk, if all you want is the "collapse of Nigeria" before 'the rise of the nation of Biafra," then you and your Biafra will never ever see the light of the day!

Must Nigeria collapse before you have your Biafra?

You talk about "forces of darkness" when in actual sense, you are an agent of the forces of darkness!
