“I was telling the President, thinking the President would get very agitated. (But) He said: ‘Senator Saraki, you know this oil business is very oily'...I was stunned and taken aback!" I think I understand how Saraki felt about Jonathan then but I wonder how he (Saraki) feels about himself now. |
magoo10:Magoo10, can I ask you a question? I mean no offence, but do you or can you ever think with a clear mind? |
Glorious news! |
Quite interesting. But some people say they are not interested in the Presidency... Like play like play, this issue of 'someone from the North after someone from the South' (turn by turn) Presidency has come to stay in Nigeria o. |
Thanks Mr President. But I am yet to believe and come to terms with the fact that Libyans could be involved in such a barbaric act in this age. |
destinable:I think you are the one that didn't get the right perspective. The guy (Paul Achalla), must have post a comment wondering (or condemning) why PMB has not done anything about those victims but FFK in his usual manner turned it to a matter of ethnicity by telling him the victims were/are mostly Igbos, Edos and Yorubas. For me, it is an insult (on those tribes) for FFK to single out those tribes for this nonsense. |
Nnamdiojukwu:Common criminals that should be treated as such are been pampered by govt |
Lothario:Go and sit down! What can you do? It's people like you that are people the region in chaos. What do you benefit from such acts? You come here to make empty threats ![]() |
delpee:You can only imagine how we think in this part of the world. If making the region less economically viable and uninhabitable for others while they force govt to share money to them is the right thing to do, then like you said; good luck to them. |
9jakohai:Enough is enough!!! |
austonclint: ![]() Why are you guys like this na? 4 days left to do what? Who is Ubah? ![]() |
sapientia:I asked you that question to show you that the bases for his analysis and comparison are not right. We all know that a project that will ordinarily cost like #1m will be executed by govt at any level in Nigeria for not less than #3.5m, but it would have been meaningful if he queried the cost as against what is should have been (fair value) instead comparing apples with oranges. |
sapientia:Your comment sounds fair but what if I told you, in China or North Korea, you can't or might not be able to make this comment because govt regulates/limits your access to the internet? |
Can you imagine such analysis and comparison from an enlightened man... |
"The judicial system suffers from too much technicality and formality." Oga Justice Rilwan Aikawa, take a look at the goddam statement; is't original/real? Is't truly FFK's account statement? Does the statement contain the entries/lodgments of the amount claimed by EFCC from January 22 to July 31, 2015? If yes, admit it, make your verdict(s), and deliver judgement...case closed . |
Can you imagine what those guys up there are saying? So, a pressure group demands for transparency and accountability and that becomes an offence and Amaechi's handiwork? It seems both Rivers and Delta States are either operating without budget or hiding them from the public. |
We just like creating unnecessary disaffection for/towads people. So those people mentioned and those goodwill messages in those newspaper publications are not enough to say; "happy birthday?" Na wa for some people o! |
Sir. While you are in the best position to tell us why you could not implement the report from the CONFAB you convened, I think you kept it because you wanted to use it for campaign. It was not going to be 'useful' to all Nigerians anyway! |
HiddenShadow:How will you know when we start having "human beings in power" when we don't want elections? |
Well, Emma. If after your order, threats and condescending to using fetish means to force people to massage your already bruised ego, 9,998 people came out to cast their votes, that's enough to make you hide your head in shame. My worry and sympathy is only for those who are too sold out to NK to see how helpless and hopeless they are. |
Chigold101:Ofcourse, we have! But sincerely, I wish they are doing better than they are doing now. |
Making mockery of our judiciary! |
brightalo17: ![]() |
brightalo17:Sorry bro. Is Fayose second in command? I actually thought it's FFK. I was wrong then! |
wiseEast:Read what I wrote properly and what you wrote. I don't actually understand what you meant to say. |
I have a few questions for you, op and the original storyteller. - A woman and children "started hearing gunshots being shot carelessly in the air." What do you think will be the normal reaction of the woman? "My mum was so scared, including my younger sisters," but she was brave enough that she was "looking at the window to know what was the cause of the pandemonium." - "This was happening...around past ten." Morning or night? I guess night, judging by the usual operations of DSS. "One of the DSS official sighted her" (a woman hearing sporadic gunshots could look out of the window in a way she could be seen) at night - maybe there was light. - "They now forcefully entered our house through the big gate, because the small one was locked." Meaning the compound is fenced. Now, is it a storey building? If not, she won't see (nor be seen from) outside. - DSS, I mean DSS (not NPF ) were shotting "carelessly in the air...just to scare potential hoodlums away." Come on!- "One of them now said they shouldn't be scared... but the DSS officer threatened her that they would" be back? |
Hofbrauhaus:Alright. When Biafra comes, will it be a democratic state? |
PenlsCaP:You see watin I see? These guys are truly peaceful freedom fighters o ![]() |
Look at them! Brave and fearless warriors. Peaceful freedom fighters who want peace, juctice and progress for their people. If Biafra comes, will it be a democratic state or ... |
BankeSmalls, Hofbrauhaus, PenlsCap come and see o! |
