jacyhelen:Sorry, I don't understand. |
jacyhelen:And that stray bullet cannot kill somebody inside his/her compound? |
mgbadike81:How do you people even think? Is it proper to bring out your phone in public and start snapping soldiers who were possibly on their own? Do you know it is actually an offence for you to snap me without my consent, when I didn't pose for the camaras? |
jacyhelen:You said your concern is the safety of lives? Then the proper advice should have been for people to conduct themselves properly. Go, cast your vote, and if you can't hang around to ensure your vote count, go home and stay away from trouble. "just die where dem go fit see u" It is only a dark heart that can say this to a brother/sister. |
jacyhelen:Pretender! Believe me, the content and the imaginations of your heart are manifest. |
Saaruman:The supreme leader said it should be ofe nsala and you are here trying to change it to chicken pepper soup. Who are you? Mtcheeeeeeeew! |
And this is supposed to be a leader ![]() |
Waooo! This guy looks cute and takes so much after the father. "...the BNYL leader said the wife of Ojukwu, Bianca, also betrayed her husband...by accepting appointment from Nigerian government as ambassador to Spain." Question for you Princewill. The one who accepted an appointment from Nigerian government and the one who pioneered the secession from Nigeria but contested severally for political offices in Nigeria, who is more a betrayer? Allow every man pursue him dream abeg. |
swiz123:I admire your resilience. You are quite pertinacious! I like people who fight to the end. You are actually doing what your leader could not do. But you know what? As far as Anambra Governorship election is concerned, THere will be election in biafra land! |
"What we need in Nigeria is, therefore, a third political force that will put to an end this politics of stupidity and elevation of religion and tribalism over good governance. Without real opposition in Nigeria, our democracy is dysfunctional." Words can't be 'truther' than these! Can someone kindly send me those guys personal mobile phone numbers. I want to send them this message so they get (and not deny ever getting) the point reasonable Nigerians have been trying to make all along. |
Hmm...nice! What a nice way to celebrate your birthday sir! God bless you. But any hope? Has Buhari called you yet? |
ivandragon:No! I don't have a bug up my undies...it's soldier ants. You know how those guys behave, that is if you've had an encounter with them. ![]() |
Iamthoney:Even on this forum, some people had reported that there is a significant improvement in their areas (though this might not cover everywhere) and where I stay, we enjoy 20 - 22hours light daily. Wait o! Don't tell me you expected that Nigeria will become America in 2 years. Now tell me, what will you see to know the economy and country at large have improved? Me, I no be PDP supporter and I no be APC supporter. ![]() |
ivandragon:"1.he emphasized on ministers which is why I did not mention any non ministerial post." Did you read the statement? Here is an excerpt: "President Muhammadu Buhari says he did not know many of his APPOINTEES, INCLUDING MINISTERS as of the time he appointed them into top government positions...He said he only came across their names from the records which he worked with...‘‘ Some of the people holding high positions in the government, LIKE my ministers, will tell you that I didn’t know them from Adam." I ask you again; would it have been proper if he appointed only those he knew? Was that even possible? |
Iamthoney:So, why are they not qualified for the "current ministerial position they are both holding?" |
ivandragon:I am not trying to make excuses. And for your info, I don't defent Buhari/APC neither do I defend GEJ/PDP. I only try to be rational. Now, what is the difference between what he said and what you are saying. Is "60% of his cabinet" all his appointees? Mind you, he wasn't just talking about his ministers but all other officials and aids. BTW, would it have been proper if he appointed only those he knew? Was that even possible? |
ivandragon:He said he didn't know SOME of them BEFORE they were appointed. Now, you've mentioned these ones, what about SOME others like Enelamah, Kachikwu, etc? "even Ameachi, Fayemi, Fashola, Ngige & others who were on your campaign train for over 4 months." You expect him to KNOW those in his 'campaign train' for 4 months? |
ihatesycophant:Thank you for coming to my aid. No matter how hard you try, you can't enlighten people whose hearts are fixed on what they choose to see. |
Mexzy4sho: ![]() |
manmoraskk:Why are you like this na? ![]() |
Iamthoney:So, Fashola, a former Governor is not qualified to be a minister? And Kemi too? Alright, on what grounds are they not qualified? |
HIGHESTPOPORI:That is what sentimental supporters will always say when served with their own, previous biased comments. It was good then but bad now okwaya? Let's learn to be objective and always stand for the truth. |
jieta:Case closed then! |
"Hon. Kelechi Nwogu called on president Muhammad Buhari and IGP Idris to stop Amaechi from using the compromised SARS to destabilize Rivers State." What if Amaechi's supporters stage their own protest tomorrow? Instead of looking for ways to broker peace between these two ELEPHANTS fighting, you chose to take sides. Well, Hon. Nwogu, since you have decided to support mama, brother will support papa! |
jieta:"I can't be with someone for more than two years and still not have idea about the person...it took buhari six months to appoint this minister and yet two years after he still don't know them." There is a difference between 'having idea' about a person and 'knowing' a person. Now, that's by the way. "President Muhammadu Buhari says he did not KNOW MANY of his appointees, including ministers, AS OF THE TIME he appointed them into top government positions." He didn't say he doesn't know them now. "if am the LG chairman of my state i will know my supervisors." You will KNOW ALL your supervisors before or after appointing them? |
jieta:That is to say if you were your local govt Chairman and you are to appoint your supervisors from all or major wards in your LGA, will you know, as in, KNOW those you will appoint? Simple yes or no will do... |
The way this is going, I am begining to think this Ikoyi stuff might be a scam, as in, government or somebody there may be involved and they knew about it and therefore, does not want to pay such amount for 'nothing.' |
Spylord48:Both! Isaac Adewole is Minister of health because he is qualified and he is from the West. Okechukwu Enelamah is Minister of trade and investment because he is qualified and from the East. Rotimi Amaechi is minister of transport because he is qualified and from the South... |
jieta:Funny! If you were even your local govt Chairman and you are to appoint your supervisors from all or major wards in your LGA, will you know, as in, KNOW those you will appoint? If you expect him to know them, why do we complain he appointed mostly people from his region? |
adadike281:Ada, do you expect him to know all his appointees, including ministers, as of the time he appointed them into top government positions? How possible was that? If it were, wouldn't it amount to appointing his friends and close associates? No be everything we suppose quarrel about na! |
"The future I'm seeing is so horrible that WE may tell children in the years to come that there was a time when Nigerians could afford to eat decent three square meals, pay rent, buy cars and build houses...the coming years are going to be so bad." If that's the future you see, no problem. Work towards achieving it but instead of 'we,' say 'I' (as in, yourself). But will that be in Biafra? Since BiafraIShere. |
I can't just understand why people take pleasure in being spiteful. Not only do you spite Buhari but you spite the Igbo people (but surprisingly, a few of them are already joining the party) because of hate. "Before you abuse me, just remember the money Buhari used in purchasing this title came from the South South. I have every reason to question how proceeds from oil is spent." What will make Buhari go to the Southeast to PURCHASE a title? What is he using it for? Will that title replace GCFR? So, the Igbo culture and tradition are so poor that they could be bought with money? PROCEEDS from OIL? So Nigeria only derives her revenue from oil? How many liters of oil does Lagos have that it is richer than... You have every right to demand accountability from your leaders but be objective and stop being spiteful! |
