Spicycat:Hi Spicy |
mechanics:Sincerely I am just too confused about Nigerian youths. Going through the comments here, I just wonder if people actually understand a matter before commenting. What concerns PMB in this order? Was he the one who asked Olisah Metuh to ask the court to order GEJ to testify in his defence? What is the big deal or wrong in testifying in defence of your party member and associate? Did Abang compel Metuh to request that GEJ be brought in as his defence witness? Was Abang wrong in granting Metuh his request and right to fair hearing and proper defence? Has GEJ been charged to court for this matter or any other one including Allison's case? Which way Nigeria! |
IamaNigerianGuy:So you believe the IGP, on the First Lady's request or better still order, bought two suvs for her? The first lady, who has been going around distributing relief materials to the less priviledge, can't afford to buy two suvs? Ok, she can't afford but needs them, why must it be the IGP of all govt officials, she will ask for the cars? |
Op no vex o. I jus get wan question. Which wan be "the original PDP members?" |
You guys are funny o. Olisa Metu, your 'real brother' and GEJ's 'associate,' who is standing trial for the money GEJ's govt gave to him, requested the court to order him (GEJ) to appear as his (Metu's) defence witness and you are blaming the judge for granting the request and asking GEJ not to defend Metu? Don't you think it will be unjust to deny Metu his right to a defence witness (one who actually approved the release of the money to him)? Note. GEJ was not charged to court. He is only being asked to testify in court as a witness. |
I go just sidon dey look fest |
Don't worry, Ben. 'We' will soon 'off-load' the content of those mystery containers and fix the Dirty toilets, Failed runway, approach lights that are not working, clear the Crater on the runway and replace the Falling roof. As for the Infrastructure that is in a complete state of decay, No lounge, No rest place for pilots or crew, before the end of this year, we shall take care of them to ensure travelers who wish to use the airport are not inconvenienced during the coming yultide |
jamace:Simple! |
ivolt:Nobody has been sold and nobody is saying One good deed invalidate a bad one. I only talked about his own revelations. Could it be true? If it is true, will it be right to kill him while those other guys go free? My problem with Maina's reinstatement is not about the alleged corruption case against him but in violating the rule of the civil service by absconding and resurfacing without due process and transperency. He has not been found guity by any court in Nigeria. There are many political office holders even in the Senate with corruption charges against them and they are still holding on to their offices (even Magu himself, whom I defend). If the EFCC has a case against him, charge him to court and get the court to compel him to appear before it. For me, the govt should be more diligent and transparent in handling matters like this. |
This is one reason I don't rush into making comments on sensitive matters I don't have facts/details about. Nigeria is just too complicated/complex. Thank God 'this' administration came. At least, we now have too many revalations. Many of the secret schemes of govt are being exposed daily - from budget padding to this. The problem is that we are too weak to do anything about the mess our 'leaders' are putting us through. |
Lalasticlala, Mynd44, OAM4J Please delect the text you post on my profile. I am not a muslim. I don't believe in Islam. It was an error and why must you post such on someone's profile authomatically just for clicking on it? Kindly delect the text. Thanks |
One question I have for my beloved (now turning previously ) President Buhari; why spare/hold on to a few individuals that have vowed never to be good and useful and set yourself against millions of Nigerians who truly love and support you?I am sure if it were possible for Aisha to resign 'the wife of the President,' she would've done so because I'm pretty sure she too is disappointed. |
Paulosky1900:Uwc. |
Lordspicy:But u expect us to swallow the op's story hook line and sinker? You know one problem with crying wolf? When one keeps doing it, on the day the 'real wolf' comes, people won't take one serious. Paulosky1900 has not said the man didn't die or was not shot, but has been trying to refute those who say it was APC that killed him by the hand of a police officer. Now, take your time and read through what the op post and look closely at the attached fb post. Do you think a broken widow, whose husband was gruesomely murdered by the APC/NPF will just post comments as simply and brief as those ones without calling out the perpetrators while calling for justice? Compare her post and the op's and see who is crying most. |
omenka:"Exactly what enviable virtues does ffk posses?" There is one though. His writing prowess! ![]() That's the one I know since I don't know him closely. |
qimo:Really! ![]() You Nairalanders can be... ![]() |
months:Nwanna, ndo o! |
MENZPRIDE:Thanks for the compliment. |
Ok |
This man seems to be doing his job better now than when he was in office. This is actually a better critics/opposition than what FFK and Fayose do. Now to the issues raised. - I did a little study on our power sector (reform) and I can confidently say that, if PDP spent all those billions of dollars for about FIFTEEN years on power and we are where we are today, it will be irrational to expect Fashola to fix the sector in THREE years (I guess he said that believing it was possible or maybe just for politics). Any fair-minding fellow knows Fashola is trying his best just like Barth Nnaji did. - As concerning the FXR, two things I have to say. 1. There was a deplection of our FX reserve and excessive 'leakage' in our economic (financial) system in the form of reckless spending and looting in the previous administration. 2. We take pride in developing foriegn economies by heavily importing even items inferior to what we can produce locally. That puts pressure on the Naira. We all now the higher the demand (for GBP £ & USD $), the higher the price. - Medical trips abroad. If to say Buhari no go London for treatment, the man for don die since o . How long will it take to build, equipt and staff standard specialist and general hospitals in some major cities in Nigeria? Definitely, more than TWO years. If the previous administrations had done that, there will be no need to go abroad for medical 'tourism.' Unfortunately, even Buhari that said it was unacceptable, as much as I know, hasn't laid a foundation for even one specialist hospital in Nigeria.Nigerian politics...SMH ![]() |
Ojiofor:Thanks. Please help me delete the quoted post. |
Ojiofor:I am sorry. I didn't understand properly. My error! |

Heartwarming indeed! Always, love is sweeter than hate, peace than conflict. |
spellings390:I felt like crying reading this emotion ladened message. I don't know how we are going to come out of this, but...it is well. |
Can't the Igbo leaders and elites call for a mega meeting or something to critically look into the problems bedeviling the region to find a lasting solution to all this before it gets out of hand? Do we think this is a child's play and will go away just like that? The region will definitely suffer worst situations in the long run if things are allowed to continue deteriorating. This is the only region that has several separatist movements with, probably the same objective yet, they can't find a common ground. The tension in the region is high. Respect for elders, leaders and constituted authorities is gradually giving way to anarchy and chaos. Let's call for a meeting NOW, sensitize and enlighten our people, take a united stand on what we want and prevent the looming danger. If we are waiting for Abuja to bring peace, change and development to us, we might wait forever. Enough of playing politics with the future of our region. The time to act is NOW! If we sincerely want Biafra, then let's build a common front on that but if not, then let's look inwards, resolve our internal differences and fully take charge (quit playing the victim and looking for sympathy dika nwa gha ne megbu emegbu) and integrate into the political structure of Nigeria. Once again, the time to act is NOW! |
BluntBoy:I've been longing to read a comment such as this! |
Pesuzok:Up to this point, at least a reasonable man has spoken. Thanks |
OjukwuWarBird:Your ignorance and arrogance are stunning! Haven't seen many with those combined so intricately. |
kindklemz:Thank you! It's quite unfortunate that teachers couldn't pass primary 4 exams but to come here and shout North...North is not correct. Thanks for reminding us of the Adams' case. I served in Enugu and I can authoritatively say if the same were done in the area I served, we will experience the same result. We like pointing at others when things go wrong. Even here on NL we read things - not just grammer but also ideas/thoughts - that will leave one speechless. Government can play a role in developing our education sector but the ultimate development lies with us all! |
kelechi50:This is how a reasonable person thinks. Just wondering if hanging her will drive away the witchcraft spirit and bring back those she has 'eaten' if that is actually true. |
