Angel55555: When she's about to dump your sorry ass, she won't remember the sacrifices you have made to sustain the relationship, and to make her happy.
1. No man wants a woman who is accessible to every man.
2. You will reach the age where you can easily tell that the relationship is not going to work just by the conversation.
3. If you have to beg someone to do the bare minimum for you and if you have to keep telling them how you deserved to be treated better then for goodness sake. LEAVE. It's not worth your peace.
4. Don’t ignore the red flags you see at the beginning. The red flags you ignore trying to see the good in people WILL cost you later.
5. Just because a person keeps you around doesn’t mean they love you; remember, people, buy cats just to get rid of rats.
6. If SEX is all you are about in a relationship, then it means you are actually empty. A healthy relationship is about purpose! Sharing visions and values together.
7. In life, you need to learn to stop opening doors for toxic people and giving them room in your mind, and calling it "seeking closure!"
8. You're delaying your healing process. Avoid the damaged, the unhappy, and the unlucky.
9. Anger opens the mouth and shuts the mind. As a woman, understand that men will say and do anything to sleep with you.
10. Look at the actions, don’t be blinded by words. Anyone can talk a good game, but it takes a real ball player to play one
You are not half of anything. You were created whole.
Find your voice. Don't apologize (Ummm, I'm sorry but...). Don't hesitate (should I say it or not?). Don't minimize (I know this is probably really silly but...). Don't use needless words (I mean, like, well, I think that...). Speak up.
You don't need anything other than you. You don't need a man. You have yourself. I'm not saying men aren't wonderful (because they are!) or that they are not worth your time (yes they are!) What I'm saying is that no one is worth giving up you.
Never underestimate the friendship of another woman. Don't create rivalries; shun jealousy and competition and accept your friends for who they are, free of judgement. Help other women up. Women friends are invaluable. They are your tribe.
You are more powerful than you think. Don't give that power away. It belongs to you.
BadMaster: One thing I have realized overtime is that, Nigerians are the most hypocritical beings you will come across on the face of earth.
They claim to be very religious. I mean, evidently, we go to Church to pray every Sunday, go to mosque every Friday. We carry religion on our heads more than anything. Yet we are the most wicked, evil and vile people on earth.
As for your point as regards marriage. Over the years I have come to realize that most couples are living miserably. The only consolation they have is that they have children together, and because of that, they can't afford to separate, because they don't want their children to grow up in a broken home. The funny thing is, these miserable people living as couples never miss an opportunity to advice others to go and marry, so as to join them in their misery.
Tayo Aderinokun was a phenomenal and visionary leader. They saw ahead of their time. Not like some of the bosses that these 14 Nigerian graduates have worked for.
In this video: the craziest job stories you've never heard, Yemi and 14 other recent Nigerian graduates share their hilarious, thought-provoking experiences applying for jobs, dodging job scams, escaping kidnappers, receiving low-ball offers and managing the insults/frustrations from family members when you're jobless.
Aonkuuse: The only thing now is having your own car for bolt or Uber, hiring out is not profitable now at all... But transport business actually has no much gain now
True and Nigerian are wicked. You give a driver a car and you hear if countless complaint.
Cocao: If you know any of those groups, please let me know! I honestly had no idea. I got my first job ever from Nairaland and just playing it forward.
I have one already but i want to add my new experience and make it very attractive to employers.
I dont want to be too comfortable with my current job.I want to move forward and earn more .
Please,i need someone to recommend someone who is good at making good and attractive CV.I will pay for the service but the payment will be 40% down payment and 60% payment after delivery of the job.
Goodlady: If you are a man with no handsome income, you v no reason to woo a lady nor date her. Infact, don't get married so that you won't Infect the woman with your poverty or unbalanced life. It's not a must to be in a relationship. Afterall purpose of humans on earth isn't for procreation or marriage alone. Broke men can decide to be monks. I v seen enough from men that fathered many children they can't cater from and I blame those women that opened legs for them. Some men even have money to still cater but chose to be unfortunate and irresponsible. A man that service his car regularly should be able to take car of a woman. I hope males on this forum are up and doing and responsible. Ema se oriburuku by not taking care of your women. The goddess has spoken!

As the finance manager for a new company, I was hired when they needed help.
The company had a lot of potential, but it was hard for them to make money because it didn't have a strategy.
The company's founder said he had made mistakes when hiring the right finance staff for the past three years. It was easy to understand why they all left.
The company's founder was a good leader but not particularly good with numbers.
When I took over the finances, it was clear that he still wanted to control everything. He didn't listen to what I had to say about how to fix the financial situation.
Even so, I was able to make significant improvements over the year. But the founder didn't seem interested.
He said he didn't want to hear about how much money we were losing anymore because it made him feel bad. So, I decided to leave because there wasn't enough executive support.
The founder kept making financial decisions without accurate and relevant information to back them up. The company is still having trouble and is close to bankruptcy.
This is a cautionary tale about how important it is to hire experts and listen to what they say. Don't hire experts just to tell them what to do if you want your business to do well.
More importantly, don't ignore the expertise and advice of the people you hired to solve problems.
PS: This is not a true story, but this kind of thing always happens with OMBs, so many people can relate.
