Yes but you will have to pay about 24k, 14k for the package to & fro, then 7k or so to the VFS Abuja if you did your bio-metric elsewhere.
Learnt Abuja is faster, you get your passport within a week. I submitted passport on Monday, I should have it back by the end of the day today.

You will pay only 4k however if you submit your passport to Lagos, assuming your bio-metric was done in Lagos.

On a normal ground, if you are non Nigeria, you qualify for the visa 100%.

But as a Nigerian, your chance is 50% infact gan maybe lower.

Canadian embassy hardly issue visit visa for a young guy without travel history and you are even single......

Give it another shot anyways, nothing is impossible

Note that you must explain unusual inflow into your account. The investment liquidated must be backed by evidence. Try and cover all loopholes prior to re-submission.

My own perspective into this matter is using mama as a bait to manover is red flag. Why can't you apply separately ? Secondly are you married or having kids? Thirdly try and apply with your bank statements.

Submitting your employment is not strong because someone can easily do that on business center but submitting your salary account that shows your salary deposits every month and print out your 6 month bank statement.

That's my own little perspective...

I'm sorry about your refusal. The red flag, i believe, is that you didn't include your bank statement. You should have included your bank statement. Not including it sends a signal that you're relying solely on your brother. Please re-apply and include your statement. The letter you suggested is also okay.

I did the same mistake and applied through the portal about a month later.

I believed they can run simultaneously. Just remember to include the previous application details as they suggested. They also stated that they will withdraw the old application but do not guarantee a refund.

I guess the answer lies in that statement.

Hello RuggedArab. You do not have the required 48 months experience. Hence, EIT would be the right path to take, then go through the whole length of the process to qualify for PEng.

If you move to Alberta, you might want to explore occupations in your former IT role, especially if it is Engineering related e.g. Network Engineering or Telecoms. Your 2 years of work experience in that role may help in job search for an EIT position.
