Moving upwards finally... good win! |
Nice one Baba Moyes... You sabi work jor'! |
Nice comeback lads...That aura of "invincibility" is slowly returning. Now just take a breather, go back in there and finish 'em off! |
Merry Christmas my fellow Mancunians... always remember, "Its all about BELIEVE"! Keep Safe, Have fun and Support David Moyes Manchester United ![]() |
elampiro: 0-0Not to worry... we will be up there soon enough ![]() |
"Business as usual..." That's right boss, we are getting a good rub of the green and a bit of positive momentum. Good stuff! |
Two things I am certain of... Barca will turn City inside out and upside down. Arsenal are in for the drubbing of the season, in the first leg! |
Good to win again. ![]() I hope Valencia keeps this going... Fantastic to have Fletcher backm at least another body/option in midfield...and crucially, one less reason to select Grandpa Giggs! |
But that right wing sha... Its our blessing and curse... Our strength and yet, achilles heel. When it works, we fly; when it doesn't we absolutely fry. All this talk of CMs, I think we also need a very good left winger too... The attack is too lopsided! |
2 up. Good going so far. Mid-week game on Moyes' mind too... We may likely see Ando, Nani and Kags start that one. |
coogar: arsenal shouldn't panic - they can lose all their away games against big teams & still win the leagueThey should panic... By this time next week, it could be Chelsea on top; and for me, that's curtains... Because looking at Wenger, he isnt even sure of beating a ragged UTD at the Emirates talkless of an on-form City or Chelsea. |
coogar: harsh on wenger.......these same players were away in europe in the midweek while 70% of city players were at home preparing for a home game. it's inevitable that arsenal would get scorched.Harsh kor', marsh ni'... You think Wenger didn't know when he threw in 3 subs in that Everton game. They needed all 3 point from there to ensure that they'd still be top after the next 2 games. Wenger did not believe they could beat city neither does he believe his team can beat chelsea. I think he has just resigned to losing to the top sides and then making it back from the smaller sides... problem is, atimes, the fixtures can be very cruel. |
If City win this ligue...walahi, I no go vex ![]() DJ. Drop "Schooling" by Mode-9... Some pipu have beem well and truly schooled tonight ![]() |
Iiiiyyyyeeeeemeeeee... Dem say dem want to kpolongo ![]() DJ. Sounds of Mountain Black and Mad Mellon |
Where is Meszut Ozil!!? |
Nasri wants it bad... |
City tearing the gaynners another a$$.hole ![]() |
For me, first step towards "recovery" - by this i mean playing in a bit better fashion than we have so far - is getting Rooney out wide to that left wing, by hook or by crook! The number of times we shift the ball to the right at every given opportunity is becoming an eyesore... expecially given that it is usually AV25 that is there. Anyhow sha... I still refuse not to BELIEVE! |
Omo... Ross Bark was there and we went to buy Fellaini for 27m. *face in palms* |
Nani was quite good today... and yeah, perhaps its time to go gung-ho - and just focus on outscoring teams rather than worrying about stopping 'em. Nani, Rooney, RvP, Kagawa and Chicha all on the pitch at any given opportunity... |
Ole... yeah. That would have been a good one! Fergie sef... well, they say he always ends up proving us all wrong when we question him - maybe this is one of such instances! |
chamotex: Exactly my point...so you know there is something wrong with the side but you are happy about it and don't want to be downcast.Again... more assumptions. Well, you are entitled to 'em! Last season and before, were we all "happy" with the team!!? Remember the epistles - defensive vs attack, solidity vs subtlety!!? Remember all the load of stats about how Norwich, Reading, West Brom were waltzing in and taking shots at will!!? Bla, bla, bla... |
coogar: the only league we can win right now is on PS4.I haff hear... that is your own mantra - as I do not expect you to buy mine, so also you don't shove yours down my throat! |
chamotex: You still wan bet? That's like Tyson fighting a cripple.Maybe if you took time to really comprehend, you'd realise we are saying two different things... I never said or insinuated that there was nothing wrong with the side. I have only been maintaining all through that we can still win the ligue - and to tell you how serious I am, I can put my money on it! |
debosky: It was 4 games presenting a good opportunity a few days ago, now it's down to three eh? Let's see what happens.Yep. Down to the following 3 against less sterner ... can't do anything about a game that has passed, can we!? Maybe in the Glo Premier ligue sha ![]() |
chamotex: Gbenu soun jor. Champagne ni.Every man to his own... I refuse to be downcast. By the way, I still dey up for that bet! |
Purist, Kay-pumping... you have spoken well. The next three games present us a good opportunity to cut the gap on the leading pack and I am confident we will. They were extremely unlucky today and against Everton; we should have taken the lead - when anita blocked the ball with his hand - may have influenced things. Nice touch at the end when about 4, 5 elderly fans behind the "The Chosen One" banner in the stands stayed behind and applauded... I keep that image in my head as a reminder that some of these folks out there still understand! |
Oghos1: Coogar errtin is too rowdy. When d crowd leaves, I'll continue.Seconded! |
Funny how fickle become... I remember when that team sheet was posted here, some folks actually agreed and I quote, "that it was good enough to get the job done"... All of a sudden, it was flawed. Reservations they did not express earlier on! |
chrisley024: Where are those still with Abraham's faith?Aye... still here man. Still here... no shaking. Not happy about the defeat but I remain unfazed - Champs we still will be come May. Remember to quote me then! |
SailorXY: Terrible luck these daysYeah. Right after we had just about our best spell in the game! |
In all fairness, Clev should be the midfielder to make way... Jones has been doing a good job of helping the defence! And newcastle score... back to the wall stuff now. |
