I'm actually not upset at Fellaini's red. At least its a sign of tackling; better than having the opposition waltz into our third of the pitch every other time with all that lousy 'shadow' marking we usually do! |
Nice sub and variation of play by the gaffer. So unlucky not to be ahead. Fellaini, Giggs and young have surprisingly fared well! |
chamotex: I will be the happiest man on this thread.I swear... I know he is a far better player than his current showings suggest and a marked improvement in his game will help the team generally in a big way; so this will be great if it happens so! |
chamotex: Team: DDG , Smalling , Evra, vidicon, rio, Fellaini, Giggs, Kagawa, Rooney, ChichaIf this is the "official team list" for tonight, all I can say is, the gaffer is certainly doing his best to ensure that all the players get a reasonable amount of playing time - can't complain about that now, can we!? |
SailorXY: Nani is a better attacker/winger than Valencia. Homeboi just gat British weather syndrome #end ofOnly based on POTENTIAL...but on a WORK DOING / DONE basis, Nani will warm bench for Anthony Valencia anywhere on this planet - except in Portugal! |
elampiro: Lastly, it seems you are beginning to admit that Moyes is a very good tactician.Dude. Are you mistaking me for STARBOARD!!? ![]() I've been backing Moyes since he was named UTD manager. Perhaps you should take a while and read some of my previous posts! |
El Guapo: You'd be high on Sahara dust to be questioning Mou's credentials. There you go... who is talking about JM's credentials!? I asked a simple question, did the manager really do enough in the face of the situation? It is norm to bash manager's when things do not go as planned - why is JM an exception? |
I'd like to see a bit more criticism of the so called "Special One" --- everybody seems to be singling out one player or the other but what about the manager; the one who can seemingly do no wrong!? Could he have gone with 2 strikers? What exactly did will-i-am and Ask questions of your manager - or is he infallible!? |
All in all, with the right and; tested and trusted tactic, we will beat Arsenal next weekend... About our midfield, I just need some of these fellas to be a bit more aggressive when we are not in possession of the ball. The marking is just annoying sometimes. We have been "managing" these guys for years now --- emphasis should be on their strengths and what they can offer. |
coogar: i couldn't have said this better....Thats the main thing, the point gap! |
elampiro: David Moyes |
Has anybody taken time to actually think that the triple sub may have been unavoidable given the circumstances... perhaps we should wait till tomorrow to get word on the subbed players - as far as I know, those fellas are very injury-prone. |
The UTD juggernaut is on the roll! ![]() |
Oya, DJ please sharpenly cue Skentele Skontolo instanta ![]() |

SailorXY: All that will end in due course. Moyes' azz is still very hot on the seat, he just needs to massage egos @ the moment & grind out as many points as possible without additional dressing room headache. When the season is very close to the end & he finds himself in a very comfortable position, sterner stances will be taken as per imposing his own ideologies on the team that files out on match days...Thank you very much. I wonder why peeps just expect him to come in and expect him to effect "widespread changes" easily with the snap of fingers. |
elrony: Nice formation..dats wat any optimum attack minded manager in epl tries to roll out..No, its not the manager --- you think Moyes wouldn't have reckoned that he can set up his team so!? It is "star" players like our "white pele" who will cause a furore in the dressing if they are played out of position! |
Folks must find something to blame Moyes --- I've said it before there will be games enough to go around for everybody --- its on to the "unfavored" players to seize the opportunity to make a point to the manager. Good win; nice to have some wins under our belt again! Hopefully, we get some run of wins from here on! |
I think we should all read this and try to be a bit more patient and tolerant! http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/pitchside-europe/old-trafford-boos-shows-nothing-special-united-fans-181346387.html |
elampiro: As far as I am concern, today's goal was not totally Hart's fault. Why did that defender, Nonesestic, not change his mind mid way and head to another direction. He say Hart out before he got his head on the ball. It was a clear defensive misunderstanding between two people.I cannot believe I am reading this |
coogar: if we had won those games, we would be 4th
I still can't believe we only have 4 points from 3 home games against west brom, saints and stoke.
Abeg lets forget all this... we keep looking back and paying too much attention to what we outta have left behind, we will never move forward. Moyes will learn from his mistakes and we will see improvements all round, no shakings! |
coogar: this is so wrong.....You're right, Smalling did not help Nani's cause at all. |
BinghiNya: Elampiro and Dademola our guy Rooney is keeping haters like coogar silent. Coogar where is the Rooney stats againThe major problem with Rooney right now is "the position to play him" --- usually when he is not playing as the second striker, the team generally does well. Like yesterday, after the subs, he was in midfield almost sitting beside Carrick and that gave us the option of having more threat with himself Chicha and RvP all in the game. |
SailorXY: Smalling a better CB than Jones.... & its not even debatable in my viewIts hard to pick from both guys but I have to say, Smalling hardly inspires any confidence most times; he seems jumpy, nervous and all over the place at times. Jones "appears" more sturdy, stable and assured. That said, "looks" can be deceptive but I'd rather have a CB that "looks" like he knows what he is doing! Also, from now on, RB should be exclusively preserved for Valencia and Rafael - except they are both leg and brain dead, then and only then should someone else be tasked to play there! |
Good fight-back, positive response from the lads. Great subs by the manager - at least we can see that he probably isn't as dumb as many would make him out to be. Still a lot of work to be done but we just have to focus on the positives! |
On to the next one! |
Everything that could have gone wrong, didn't... even the subs were "sensible" enough. Hope the lads can keep the positive, up-beat spirit they exhibited and the good fortunes (results) continue. 1 UNITED! |
DJ. Drop dat beat... Reminisce - "kako bi shiken" ![]() |
These players really need to help - play a major part to get back the belief! |
chamotex: Let's do it abegYou know how e dey go... Let's settle the modalities - currency, amount and where the pepper go rest till winner emerge... Or na "word is bond" thing!? Any which way, I dey game! |
chamotex: Where is that ruudie that wanted to bet about United to still win the league?Bring it on! |
@ fabby26. Thanks for sharing... How did you settle on which institution to study with? What about costs? |
