Nairobi city is Nairobi County. All built up except for national park and forest. Nairobi metro includes huge parts of Kiambu, Machakos and Kajiado counties.

Note - Nairobi roads are under City Council or now City County - and are not normally counted in the paved roads.

Kenya has KENHA - highways, KURA - Urban roads - KERRA - roads - and then City or County roads - and roads under wildlife and forestry

What is counted is KENHA, KURA AND KERRA roads.

Nearly all Nairobi roads are paved. Nairobi has nearly 8,000kms of road. Don't even talk of metropolitan. What is unpaved are roads in Nairobi National Park.

Yes, the gov has to keep up, as coffee farms give in to real estate. This is where Kenya gov has a big problem. Nairobi city is sorted with paved roads. The problem is in Nairobi metro.

But why are you banks charging you 25-30% interest rate - cedis depreciation and inflation to start. In kenya we have a handle on that. Bank are expected to raise interest rate from 13% to 15%. Anything beyond that will lead to hue and cry.
