Ismaxtr3:Ah bros, do you want to die For the EOD, if you must get one, make sure it's the I4 and not V6 engine. The V6 is the one most plagued with transmission issues. As someone earlier advises, do use the right transmission fluid and the car would serve you. For the ball joint, replace only with OEM parts if you don't want the frequent 'leg pull'. Most people that complain of theirs use substandard parts. OEM parts are noticeably more expensive but would last you years. Also, remember you are getting a Nigerian used car. There are more chances that the car has been abused by previous owner. Forget clean exterior and interior. Go with a competent mechanic (not kazeem) for thorough inspection before putting in your money. If possible, do a test drive for up to 20km and take note if the check engine light comes up thereafter. Do perform a vehicle history report too. You don't want to purchase a lemon. |
Nigeria 80 - 1 Rest of the world ![]() |
Well I guess he was invited in 2015 because given all his campaign shenanigans, they thought he had something substantial to offer. Upon realising the truth, he was skipped for 2016 and an invitation was extendeded to Osinbande in 2017 on the thankful note that the dullard was doing what he came to power for (medical tourism) . |
Lol, do we even have 3G in Nigeria? |
obembet:Lol, ironically a girl got into trouble by playing this exact line on her boyfriend about two weeks ago in my town. She went further to say she was bent on spreading the virus to any one that cones her way. The chat was eventually leaked which led to a public outcry. She had to go extreme length in redeeming her image, even up to getting the local government chairman to attest for her after conducting multiple tests. So before you pull off that stunt, think again ![]() |
IneedSugarMumy1:Then get it scanned, and be sure that the codes thrown up by the scanner are what your mechanic addressed. If after clearing the codes with the scanner, the check engine light comes up again after driving for like 20 miles, then you may have to change your mechanic. In this age of technological advance where you can probe the specific fault with a car by use of scan tools, it is dangerous to allow your car be handled by every kazeem. |
Plausible. I once read one nairalander saying she hasn't been intimate with hubby for five months counting simply because she doesn't feel like it. I was shocked mhen |
IneedSugarMumy1:Did you scan car before fixing? |
katovest:I was about to call it a day with this thread and you came up. You have so much fury in your heart right now and it's understandable. I'm not condemning your minister to you, I'm only trying to show you that there is a greater light than this Dr Olukoya is a mighty son of God and I honour him. But that.shouldn't stop me from point these.things out when I see them. You see these gifts of the Spirit, they are not an end in themselves. They are given to the end that though them we may be able.to learn government. We are to.administer spheres and Lord over creation. Demons are not what we are called to Lord over. In fact, they are going to be chained and locked up in the bottomless pit. There is a vast aspect of God's creation that we are still yet to discover. Now to revelations, if you understand the.way.these.things work you will know that the things we see in the spirit realm are a representation of things we've held in our hearts as truth. To why the holy spirit reveals these things; he doesn't actually 'reveal' in that sense of the word. We are the ones that search them out. We have an unction from the holy one and we know ALL THINGS. See? We are omniscient as he is. Things will be revealed to you according to the understanding you hold dear. Error comes in when we build a camp around these revelations and call it doctrine. This is why I say all revelations must be judged in light of the finished work. Now I acknowledge things Dr Olukoya is doing and how he has been of help to many, but there is a greater light, and believers will not come unto the full stature of Christ until they.start to engage with this light. We are the ones delaying Christ's second coming. |
OBAGADAFFI:If you are sure he is the one revealing these things to you, then continue in them. But remember, every revelation must be judged through the finished work. If you don't mind I would like to know what runs through your mind when you hear the word 'finished work'. Also, there is no point trying to separate the Holy Spirit from the believer. It's like trying to separate the father from the son. We are one, we can't do without each other. The seven sons of sceva even better do justice to my cause. They went chasing demons when they didn't have the knowledge of who they were. But look at Jesus, the man, while he walked the.earth. Demons threw themselves out without him actively engaging them. It's an insult for demons to come try.engage a believer in battles. It's like Satan the opposed trying to challenge God. We don't give them the attention they seek. We show them their defeat and watch them flee with their tails behind. Know who you are, that's my message again, so you can stop fighting mundane things. Do you not know that.he that.is joined with God is one Spirit? Have you finished searching out what it means to be one spirit with God? Do you know why the angels so earnestly desire to look into these things? See, Christianity is beautiful o, we are the ones making.it look ugly. Explore God that you are; don't study demons. Uou are immortal, you are righteousness, you are life. The moment you come to the understanding that you are not different from the Father, all things begin to fall in place. Deal with demons when you see them, but don't spare a place of thought in your heart for them. |
duality:There you go, trying to use personal experience to edit the word of God. See where our error sprang from? The fact that the word has not started working for you doesn't mean there is something wrong with it. It means you should keep feeding until you see a transformation. But we all with opened faces, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord. These gospel of demons, household enemies, etc, only thrive in Africa, why? The gospel of Christ is one ages wide. This is it: 2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: The gospel of Jesus Christ is the revelation of life and immortality in the believer. We are to feed on the reality of our Spirit essence which is immortal until our body is swallowed up in immortality. Yes, we are immortal here and now. Every other thing is shadows. |
OBAGADAFFI:I knew sooner than later you were going to quote one of those scriptures. You see, our greatest undoing would be taking one or two passages from scriptures and making a doctrine out of them. In order to understand scriptures, we must read them in light of what Christ has done, otherwise we end up confusing ourselves. Neither of any of the passages you quoted.said you should start chasing demons and fighting with them. Read Paul's epistles and take note of those places where he prayed. There is a pattern. Is that the same kind of.prayer we.pray in.our churches? Did you see any of the Apostles dealing with demons from their father's house? Where there demons? Yes. Why did.they not spend their.time dealing with them? They had an understanding. Colossians 2:15 is an example of a perspective they were operating from. If you know who you are.and.how they are.no match for you, you won't spend all your time chasing them. See, the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a servant. Once you get understanding of Christ, they bow without hassles. This is why it is not by mentioning the name Jesus you get things to work out for you. That scripture says 'at the name of Jesus'. It's an understanding and fellowship in the name. This is why I may come across a demon possessed and not utter a word and they flee. If I should answer the.question you posed at the end of.your quote, we may enter another long treatise. But know this, the holy Spirit wasn't.given simply to enable.us fight sin or the devil. No that has.been taken care of. The Holy Spirit was given to enable us have fellowship in the Godhead. He is.the uncreated life essence of God and he is who we are. By him, we are the great I AM. |
Bambarino:It's lack of understanding sir. You see there was a period in church history called the dark age. During this time and maybe even before, the gospel was heavily perverted. From then till now, it's been a slow pace towards recovery. But thank God truth have finally begun to open up. We would get there gradually. Nowadays we have too many businessmen on the pulpit that have carved a bad name for.the.church. We have occult men who got saved and never settled to learn the ways of Christ but became Pastors immediately. These are some of the heavy proponents of error. Though their intentions are noble, but understanding is absent. When they go to church to give testimony about their past life in darkness and how they led their occult ways, the reaction of the members is fear. What next do you get? Casting and binding.. |
OBAGADAFFI:Quote scriptures please. I don't think there was any place I stated they don't operate. But they are not our focus. The issue I have with this particular denomination is that we attach too much importance to them. No matter how much you may.try to twist this, the truth is these things are borne out of fear. Imagine a mighty son of God, greater than all the Angels, wakes up from sleep where he found himself eating in the dream. Rather than giving thanks, He gets up and start casting and binding demons in his father's house. Please be specific when you say your father's house. Who is your father? Mine is God |
Chidorx60:I'll try to respond to as.much points as you have stated, though I quite find it tiring writing epistles (laziness ). See bros I'm not ignorant of how these things work. I've fellowshipped with these.people, read their books, though not necessarily a member, so I'm quite conversant with how they work. That scripture you quoted says take the whole armour of God so you can stand against the wiles of the devil. It didn't say go start studying their operations. The only knowledge that should be brought to light for a believer is the knowledge of Christ. Not the knowledge of.demons, Angels, or any other created Spirit. Now what was.the first of the armour Paul listed? Truth! What is Truth? Truth is a person; Truth is Christ. Have we learned Christ so much that we have turned to studying the operations of darkness? See, no minister is called to fight for a believer. Christ has done all that needed to be done. That 'but' you added doesn't put the finished work into perspective. Things like 'Christ has saved us, BUT we must work......' bla bla bla, is not the gospel. It's true that there are different forms of manifestation, but all must be from the focal point of the finished work. Let's stop attaching a 'but' to what Christ has.done. One moment you hear a believer declaring he is seated together with Christ in heavenly places, the next you hear him.say he hopes to make heaven at last. This is religious confusion. |
Chidorx60:I'm careful not to join issues with people when it comes to things that have to do with ministers they hold in high esteem. But since you claim not to be a member, I tell you this. Error is error no matter who is propounding it! All examples you've cited, none have any scriptural hinge. They were all based on human experience which is highly subjective. It is an error to use our personal experience to edit the word of God. Whatever must be judged scriptural must be done in light of the finished work of Christ. Go read Colossians 2:15 and see what Christ has done to Satan and his minions. Do you know that spending so much time study Satan, his demons and their mode of operation is actually a form of worship? This is because we are concentrating our intellect and attention to them. We've not finished learning Christ, we are studying demons. That's demonology. Let us show believers who they are and what they are made of. That act of chasing demons every where and there wouldn't help our growth. They are defeated and should stay so. |
What is called spiritual growth is actually soul growth. The reason is because our Spirit can't grow; there is nothing created nor uncreated in this world or in the one to come that is greater than the Spirit that we are. We are one immortal spirit with God. 'Spiritual' growth is not something that is attained by accident. You don't achieve it by simply sitting in the church and feeding on all manner of doctrine that is thrown at you. It is imperative to state that not every story in the Bible is the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is because we have too many story tellers on the pulpit who think what they feed their members is capable of growing them spiritually. In order for any message to be adjudged the gospel, it must be seen through the lens of the finished work of Christ. Anything less than this is unprofitable. So let's stop guilt tripping members who despite their years in church don't appear to have found any root. The culprit is with the message they are being fed with. You can't keep feeding a child garri everyday and expect him to grow into a robust young man. It's an error. Feed them with the knowledge of their immortal spirit essence; the knowledge of who they have become because of the covenant between the father and his son, and watch them conquer spheres. |
victorngada20:For a registered car bros! |
Justbeingreal:Nigerians love to cut corners; that's the best explanation to it. You rarely see people contracting qualified architects and structural engineers to handle their projects. They rather involve masons who would give it to them cheaper for less quality. |
Justbeingreal:I'm sorry; but you may not be very current of how these things are done |
MicroBox:If installing hot tub is an option; then go ahead. And I wasn't speaking against rooftop swimming pool. If you have the right materials and you follow correct standards; you will do just fine. |
FashAutos:Sorry to derail; what phone did you use for those pictures? |
Justbeingreal:Not necessarily a mistake if you would follow the right procedures. There are penthouses with swimming pool at the top. That can't be a mistake too. |
Jarus:Do you use manufacturer recommended engine oil or the common 20W50? |
ruby360:What year? |
Also learnt those at the wedding were Shia minorities, while ISIL behind the attack is being spearheaded by Sunnis. I hope this scenario doesn't play out in Nigeria too. |
bluebay:Take a break; get separated for a while so you can find time to reassess and see if you want to continue with this thing. You are already on the path towards domestic violence. It's better you go your separate ways now than get married and end up killing someone's daughter. The poster above is another stubborn urhobo/isoko woman. Make una dey hear word. |
DLuciano:Shaft problem was for Honda Accord, mostly 2003-2007 only. It doesn't affect Civic nor other Honda products. And yes, it has long been rectified. Forget the stereotype, I'll do Honda any day, any time. Those that keep getting the 'leg pull' apparently used substandard replacement parts. Get OEM, and you would have no issue. |
For a car that costs 28million, the G80 is highly underpowered considering it weighs almost the same with the G63. I've never fancied the design of G-Wagon (don't know why) and it won't start with this G80 by Innosson that is just another copycat. Also, I find the front grille of the G80 so bland ![]() |
Jarus, what's your take on this? |
I've never taken NANS serious . Most of their reps are students who deliberately keep spilling over just to hold unto some position. |
