According to the filmmaker, Nwelue, he claimed that anyone who eats or drinks in a funeral lacks conscience.

Item No. 7, has become a part and parcel of funerals in Africa, and families who organize the burial ceremony for their loved ones factor food and refreshments for their guests.
Reacting to Nwelue’s view, many social media users revealed that taking foods or drinks at a funeral is already a habit Nigerians have formed and would be very hard to stop.

I won't bother you guys much. I married my woman last year June during the lockdown. Things were rosy for us as a young couple till we brought in a girl of 15 years from my wife's family to stay with us in order to help my wife with house chores and other things during the time she is heavily pregnant.

Mind you, from day one I have been dating my wife, this girl has been on my neck, telling me how she will come stay with me in Lagos if I get married to her sister. That would be my greatest undoing as I grudgingly obliged after many persuasion from her Mother as well. After my marriage, she came over to Lagos to join us.

Now, she is very useless to me. She will go to school from 7am to 5pm. After coming back from school, she will take another excuse to go for evening church and come back by 8pm. No help in doing house chores. COOKING, she no sabi.. My turn off about her now is that she can eat for Africa. The little provision I manage stock at home don't go anywhere now.

The last straw that break the camel back is that she always steals my babies food, like milk, biscuits etc.

My wife is in dicey situation because she once lived with the girl's mother for like 15 years back then, and such can't just pursue her away like plague.

Right now I am fighting the urge and anger to mess her up. I have advised her on numerous occasions but it seems she can not learn easily except with hard handling. Everything bad about human traits, she has it; Lies, false swearing and the likes.

Mature minded people in the house, if you are in my shoes, what would you do?

Honestly I am not trying to sound like a broken record though I'm hurting badly because I don't know how to feel, but this my babe that I've been dating for the past 2 years hardly calls me. Times without number we have talked about it and she promised to improve but that has not been the case.

We have discussed marriage plans and also introduced each other to our families hoping to give it a go ahead come 2022 by God's grace which I know she will be happy to settle with me but two days ago during my break time from work I checked my phone and as usual was about calling her then it occurred to me that this is what I do everyday from good morning to goodnight no calls from her except I call or chat first so I decided not to call or chat yet till now nothing from her.

She has been online on whatsapp, I am sure she calls other people. I have made up my mind not to call or write to her first and if she doesn't reach out to me then I will just bone and move on gently.

I'm a corp member passing out this coming december, during the previous month I have managed to raised 180k from my alawee.

Last month october I discovered bet9ja online betting through my friend, and decided to give it a try at first I was winning, I was happy that I discovered a way to earn extra income, I ignored all the warnings that I saw online about betting. JUNGLE JUSTICE AND YOUNG MAN IN SEARCH FOR JOB
A CALL FOR JUSTICE FOR Emmanuel Christopher.
A graduate of Pure and Applied Chemistry from the Niger Delta University now residing in Abuja Nigeria, was almost beaten to death by the actions of a young Hausa man.

HOW IT STARTED
It was a sunny morning, on Tuesday 27th July 2021,Emmanuel Christopher took a cab from his residence and went straight to PEAK INTEGRATED WELLNESS CENTRE, MABUCHI DISTRICT, along GITTO, after ZEUS PARADISE HOTEL, where he was scheduled for a job interview. After the job interview and being new in that particular area, he asked a lanky looking black guy, whose accent gave him away as Hausa, for directions. The guy pointed him towards where he'll board a vehicle. Emma crossed over to where he'll get a vehicle and was on call waiting for a cab to come along and the fraction of a millisecond too small. The lanky guy who had given him directions rushed towards him and started landing him blow after blow while screaming to the general public that the young man had taken his penis! Instantly the mob assembled, those with planks and those with stones, those with what ever type of weapon they could carry, they started hitting him, no one wanted to hear but he managed to scream as loud as his vocal cords could carry, "i did not do it, i only came for a job interview at that organization over there".
How it happened was a mystery and the next things he was the gate of the firm he had just left to seek for a job, even at that point he was still brutalized by aggrieved individuals. The management of the firm was called and asked to confirm if he had indeed been there for an interview. They confirmed, but even their confirmation was not enough, those who threw stones will still occasionally throw while the management queried them to stop, pleading with them to take him to a police station instead of the jungle justice they were meeting on him, but no one wanted to hear. They were already assembling their usual way of burning people by bringing put tire and everything they needed for the wickedness which they were already perpetrating. The boys father appeared from nowhere and asked them to set Emma free that he was innocent, even till that moment the people refused. At this point attention was then given to the boy, after Emma had been beaten and sustained serious and life threatening injuries. He was asked how he knew he had lost his manhood, he was asked if Emma touched him. He said he felt something go inside of him and that Emma had not touched him, so they took him to a brothel to probably test run his manhood while those with planks, stones, tire and petrol guarded Emma waiting to put him to death. Few moments later, the boy appeared with the people that went with him, smiling as though nothing had happened. Meanwhile the management of the organization had already informed the Police and just moments after the boy appeared, they were both handed to the Police. This incident occurred on Tuesday the 27th of July 2021 and the boy was released 28 July 2021.
We call on all relevant authorities to investigate this issue and allow the law to take its course. The life of every Nigerian is precious and no one has the right to pull such an expensive joke on another. If he had died, we would have lost a young graduate who did nothing wrong but waking up in the morning, taking his bath and went for a job interview.


This brings back memory of the Aluu four that were brutally murdered by villagers. Jungle justice is not just a crime, it is the hallmark of a society that has lost its moral compass. We call on all relevant authorities to investigate the issue at hand, bring the culprits to justice and compensate the young man for the ordeal he was meant to face that horrible Tuesday morning. He was not a thief, he was not a murderer, he was just a young man who had served his father's land and was looking for a job to survive. He did not deserve any of this.

The accuser goes by the name ismaila, and there are unconfirmed reports of him being released already from mabuchi police station.

This is too much for me. I have had enough. I got married to my wife last year October 2020. I did both traditional wedding and white wedding, spent a million plus. I work with ministry of health.

My wife has been insisting that I disclose my salary to her from day 1 but I never, I just told her that am earning 100+. Before I met my wife, she already learn Fashion designing. Then while was rushing around, preparing for wedding, she was pestering me to open shop for her. I specifically told her that d money I have now is Solly for wedding and traditional rite, which cost me fortune.

Then after much pressure, her people contributed money and paid for d shop (Remember I have paid her bride price then). I have swallowed red pill. How can I open shop for a girl I have not finished marrying. Then when she opened d shop, I equally supporting her with other things like buying protector and chairs. Every day she is going to shop, I drop pocket of 1k. Some times she asks me money to buy tailor materials which I give.

Now within a space of 7 months my wife now has 14 apprentices. She collected like 30k from them. Then all the money she made in her shop, she put all in her account, she doesn't contribute anything at home. Infact decided not to apply for ATM card. Some time, I may go to. ATM to get money and d tell me no network, if I come to my wife to ask her for ordinary 1k, she will say she doesn't have it. I never asked her to help in our home finances before, and I don't really care about her money.

But now found out through her Facebook chat that she sent her male school friends 7k. She hid it from me, she said d guy needed d money to treat her father in d hospital. I was shock. Cos my wife always complained she does not have money. Now she is complaining that I don't support her in her shop. That she can do whatever she wants with her money.

This morning, she was raising her voice to the hearing our flat neighbors, that am a useless husband, I feel insulted. Am embarrased. That I don't support her. She said her shop rent has expired that I should give her d money but she have enough money in her account to pay it. While is asking me. Am d one that pays for house rent, I buy food stuff, I give her transport every day.

I have had enough. I will call her mum to come over and carry her daughter. I can never beat her. The last night I shouted at her she fainted not to talk of beating.

Good day all.

My name is Abiodun, a so call friend of my defraud me of almost 2million naira everything i have been working for and also putting me in debt.

His name is Ibrahim Oladimeji Ridwan, he is my course mate in school, after school we both got job in a different bank as a contract staff, he was later sack and he always come to visit me in my office which sometime i gave him money for lunch.

One day he came to my office as usual and told me that he is going to Russia to start a new life since he as lost his job, that was during the last world up. After a while he called me with an international number and told me he is now in Russia and will like to move to America soon.

After some month i saw his chat he told that he is now in USA and i should help him because he has no job at the moment, he said he need to send money to his mum, so i gave him 20k he called me after a month again for another help which i did, he now said he wanted to send me a phone and some money to pay back the money he borrow from me, when the package arrive someone contact me and said i have to pay 100usd to collect the package, i chat Ibrahim and to him about it because at the time 100usd is much for me, and he said i shouldn't worry that's how they use to collect it.

Unfortunately i didn't collect the package even after paying the 100usd, he later said he will have to call the package back since they re unable to deliver it.

The next thing he said was that he has a Boss that can help me secure an admission in the USA he will pay for the tuition fees and also pay part of the flight fee all i need to do was to pay for the visa, documentation and balance the flight fees, which i think was reasonable, because i didn't see it too good and not too bad.

He introduce a travel agent to me call Haruna olaitan Balogun and told me since he is owning me he will pay 150k to the agent and i will balance him with 250k, later the agent call me and said i have to add 100k to it the money that things are cost still i agree and pay.

I am an ignorance on visa application process but i thought he got my back and can help so anything he said i accept.

On the 22nd of October 2019 the agent call that the visa as been issue all i need to do now was to pick a date for us to go to the embassy for biometrics. Later that month Ibrahim called me and said i have to pay the balance of the flight ticket that his boss as paid is part so i have to send him 400k which i did.

After making that payment both him and the agent start give different excuses.

Fast forward to 2020 he keep asking me to pay 1000usd that he help me to borrow it. I start running around to look for the money and paid. And i keep paying until i have no way to go to borrow money again, that was when i start thinking and my eyes were clear.

I track him down through a dispatch rider that they send my int'l passport and i was able to arrest his friend who as been acting as Haruna agent his name is Bolaji Cardosso.

Later someone call me that he is a lawyer and Ibrahim hired him to settle the issue, i want to see him and explain everything to him his name is Bisi Oyinloye. I told the lawyer to ask Ibrahim to go and swear oath in the court that he is ready to pay he did and i have the copy of the affidavit.

Since then both the lawyer and Ibrahim are not responding to my calls

As I type this, it's with tears in my eyes.. I am pained, they've done everything bad to me.. Sincerely, I don't deserve this ill treatment have gotten from this family...
It is gonna be a very long read but I know you will learn a thing or two from this..
I might not be able to touch everything but if you feel there is something I need to share and I didn't, point it out and I will shed more light on it....

This may seems a bit lengthy but you should learn one or two lessons from it..
I come from a not broken not memded marriage same as my wife but hers was worse than mine..
My father used to be a rich man. When car dealing was very lucrative, he was a top notch car dealer in akure.. So along the line, he started fornicating. His was on another level, he always take them abroad to sleep with, shop for them and do every every.. We are five in my family, I being the first born..
I had to train myself through university with photography with the help of my mum too. I remember when I was looking for project money, one of my father's wife, the one that went to give birth in Dubai just came back and they were doing naming ceremony.. I could remember I was in the rain with my mum and they were pointing at us, though we couldn't hear what they were saying.. How did I raise my project money? Sponsoring 5 kids wasn't an easy task since 3 of us was in the university. So I went with my to her work place, she was a nurse so we collected all the aprons used during immunization and washed them.. Then I also hustled to complete the money...
It was a very rough and tough life but all along, we didn't even seem like someone who has a father..

Let me jump to the reason for this thread..
I vowed never to allow whatever happened in my family happen to me in the future..
I met my wife when I was in 200 level.. I was 23 and she was 21..
